The study was conducted on 150 respondents living in Palembang city that were randomly selected based on the assumptions of community groups that have high income groups (50 respondents), medium income groups (50 respondents), and low income groups (50 respondents). The purpose of the study is to describe the characteristics of consumers and analyze consumer preferences for rice attributes based on the level of household income in Palembang city. This showed that the characteristics of households from the three level groups, both from the high, medium, and low income groups are very diverse which can influence the decision to choose and buy rice to be consumed. Rice attributes include the level of rice extinction, rice retention, taste of rice, aromatic, type of rice, volume of development, head rice, broken grains, grain groats, lime grains, and color. Household consumer preferences based on the importance level of rice attributes for the very important category most selected in the high and medium income groups are the quality before the rice becomes rice, while the low income group is a resilience factor in rice. Household consumer preferences based on the level of preference for the attribute of rice for the category of very like the most chosen in the high income group is the taste of rice, for the medium income group is rice cake and the low income group is rice and head rice.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik toko pempek berdasarkan kualitas. Penelitian dilaksanakan di enam toko berbeda berdasarkan grade. Grade meliputi Grade I, II,III, IV, V, dan IV. Toko Pempek dibuat berdasarkan grade bahan baku. Bahan baku dari ikan giling. Ikan giling yang digunakan pada Grade I (Ikan kakap dan Ikan Gabus), Grade II (Ikan Gabus), Grade III (Ikan Tenggiri), Grade IV (Ikan Gabus), Grade V (Ikan Tenggiri, Ikan gabus dan Ikan Putak) dan Grade VI (Ikan Belido). Berdasarkan Bahan Baku Pempek Ikan dengan Grade terbaik adalah Grade VI. Hal tersebut dikarenakan Toko membuat pempek menggunakan ikan Giling dengan kualitas bahan baku terbaik yaitu ikan belido giling.
The aims of this research are: (1) to analyze the level of participation of farmers in the People's Oil Palm Rejuvenation Program (PSR), (2) to analyze the effectiveness of the People's Oil Palm Rejuvenation program, and (3) to analyze the relationship between the level of participation and the effectiveness of the PSR program. The research was conducted in Tebo District, particularly in the Rimbo Ulu and Muara Tabir Districts. with the survey method. Sampling technique with Random Cluster Sampling of 182 farmers, and obtained a sample of 65 respondents consisting of 44 farmers in Muara Tabir District and 21 respondents in Rimbo Ulu District. Data were analyzed descriptively and Rank Spearman correlation test.The results showed that the level of farmer participation in Muara Tabir and Rimbo Ulu Districts was high with an index of 74.03% for Muara Tabir District and 74.15% for Rimbo Ulu District. The effectiveness of the PSR program is in the high category with an achievement of 79.73% for Rimbo Ulu District, and for Muara Tabir District an achievement of 75.11%. The relationship between farmer participation and the effectiveness of the PSR program in the two sub-districts shows no significant correlation, with a value of Rs = 0.243, and Rs = 0.445 , for Muara Tabir and for Rimbo Ulu, respectively. The direction of the relationship is positive, which means that the higher the level of farmer participation, the more the goals of the people's oil palm rejuvenation program are achieved.
This research aims to identify the characteristics of pempek stores based on facilities. The research was conducted in six different stores by grade. Grades include Grade I until IV. Pempek stores are made based on the grade of facilities. Facilities include place, atmosphere and comfort. Grade I has open room, facilities and infrastructure. Grade II has open space room, adequate infrastructure facilities. Grade III has open and closed room, more complete facilities and infrastructure. Grade V has a closed space and facilities are quite complete while grade VI has the most complete closed room, facilities and infrastructure compared to other grades. So that grade VI has the most complete character.
