Objetivou-se avaliar a influência de diferentes densidades de alojamento de patos em confinamento sobre o desempenho da produção de carne total, rendimento de carcaça e vísceras. Foram utilizados 160 patos crioulos com um dia de idade de ambos os sexos até os 90 dias de idade. Utilizou-se o delineamento experimental inteiramente casualisado com quatro tratamentos (densidades de alojamento) e quatro repetições. As densidades de alojamento foram constituídas de 1, 2, 3 e 4 aves/m². Não foi observado efeito significativo (P > 0,05) das densidades sobre o consumo de ração, ganho de peso, conversão alimentar e viabilidade. A produção de carne total aumentou linearmente (2,17 a 8,71 kg/m²) à medida que se aumentou a densidade. Houve efeito significativo (P < 0,05) para rendimento de carcaça, relativo à densidade de 3 aves/m², a qual apresentou melhor resultado (66,70 ± 0,38). A densidade de alojamento influenciou significativamente (P < 0,05) os resultados de produção de carne, receita bruta e lucro operacional. Pode-se recomendar para patos em confinamento a densidade de alojamento 4 aves/m² no período de 1 a 90 dias de idade.
