Every shipping company needs competent and qualified ship crews in carrying out activities in order to help the company achieve company performance. In addition to supporting crew competence, another factor which is no less important is the discipline of the crew itself. But in reality many crew members do not meet the standards and qualifications given by the company, so they do not provide maximum performance, as a result the achievement of company performance is very low. Solving problems related to this matter is the holding of job training in the field of Human Resources Management with the aim of forming competent crew so that in the future it is expected to provide optimal company performance. Problems regarding discipline crew are the low awareness of the ship's crew of the importance of discipline while working on the ship. The right way to overcome this is to conduct training to increase crew awareness and to conduct periodic evaluations of the implementation of activities that assess the discipline of the crew. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the competence and discipline on the performance of PT. Myclin Express Offshore with technical data analysis using multiple regression methods. The independent variable in this study is the competence variable and the disciplinary variable, while the dependent variable is the performance variable PT. Myclin Express Offshore.
Diantara semua sumber daya tersebut, yang paling penting adalah sumber daya manusia. Sumber daya manusia merupakan sumber daya yang dipergunakan untuk menggerakkan dan mendayagunakan sumber daya lainnya untuk mencapai tujuan. Menurut Rivai (2008), perencanaan Sumber Daya Manusia (Human Resource Planning/HRP) merupakan suatu proses dari analisis dan identifikasi terhadap kebutuhan dan tersedianya sumber daya manusia di pasar tenaga kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadpa kinerja karyawan pada PT Sumberbumi Global Niaga dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pad PT. Sumberbumi Global Niaga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang disebar sebanyak 47 lembar, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif, analisis koefisien korelasi, uji reabilitas, uji linearitas, uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan perolehan data kuesioner dan pengolahan data. Diperolah hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa, korelasi (R) antara perilaku kerja dan kinerja sebesar 0,671.. Hal ini berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang kuat dan positif antara perilaku kerja dengan kinerja karyawan, dan berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan “Uji t” diperoleh bahwa t hitung > t tabel. Karena t hitung > t tabel maka tolak Ho. Dengan demikian terbukti bahwa “Terdapat pengaruh positif antara disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Sumberbumi Global Niaga.”
Crew of the ship is a very important component in supporting the ship operations of shipping company. Bad performance can prevent companies for reaching their objectives. In the process of work, ship's crew get compensation contains direct compensation and indirect compensation. The Purpose of this research is to analyze how much the effect of compensation on ship crew performance of FC. Ratu Giok-2 with data analysis techniques using Simple Linear Regression Methode. Period of this research is from August 2016 until July 2017. Independent varaible is compensation and dependent variable is ships crew performance. Population as well as sample is 32 respondents who are ships crew of FC. Ratu Giok-2, data obtained through questionnaries and process with SPSS program. Based on analysis of determinant coefficient get 57%. This is indicate that percentage of compensation variable contribution to ship crew performance variable is 57%, the other 43% is effected by other variable ouside the research such as training, competence, motivation, and etc. Its mean that compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on ships crew performance. Based on the calculation of average score of each indikator on compensation variable through questionnaries, the lowest score is basic salary indicator. This is indicate that ships crew feels that the basic salary which they got from company not fulfill their needs. Then the lowest score in ships crew performance variable is efficient work indicator. Its show that ships crew feels that they haven't work quickly, accurately, and safely.
Dominant containers are used in export and import shipping systems throughout the world accompanied by important documents as a means of proving the realization of a transaction. PT. container maritime activities have targets in a bill of lading (B/L) document publishing, but in fact the B/L documents are still many who do not pitch e alisasi. In this study, researchers took the problem by using a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical analysis, a method related to the presentation of data (mean, median, mode). From the results of the study there were two indicators of employee competency that were declared weak, and it was a problem that the publication of B/L documents was not realized. To make optimal B/L documents in accordance with achievement targets, each employee competency indicator must be declared strong.
The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of ship's seaworthiness and compensation system towards ship's crew job satisfaction at PT. Humpuss Bulk Transportation Jakarta. The populations in this study were seafarers at PT Humpuss Bulk Transportation -Jakarta. The research method used in this study was descriptive and explanatory survey methods with a sample of 20 respondents. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 25. Based on the results of the study, the size of the contribution of ship's seaworthiness to the crew's job satisfaction at PT. Humpuss Bulk Transportation is 63.1% while the remaining 36.9% is influenced by other factors. The first hypothesis in this study examines whether the ship's seaworthiness partially affects to the job satisfaction of the crew. The results of this study indicate that the ship's seaworthiness has a positive effect on crew job satisfaction. The second hypothesis in this study examines whether the compensation system partially affects the job satisfaction of the crew. The results of this study indicate that the compensation system has a positive effect on crew job satisfaction, so the second hypothesis is accepted. The ship's seaworthiness variable and compensation system together have a positive effect on the crew's job satisfaction. The ship's seaworthiness and compensation system has a positive effect to the ship crew job satisfaction, so the third hypothesis is accepted.
