Every shipping company needs competent and qualified ship crews in carrying out activities in order to help the company achieve company performance. In addition to supporting crew competence, another factor which is no less important is the discipline of the crew itself. But in reality many crew members do not meet the standards and qualifications given by the company, so they do not provide maximum performance, as a result the achievement of company performance is very low. Solving problems related to this matter is the holding of job training in the field of Human Resources Management with the aim of forming competent crew so that in the future it is expected to provide optimal company performance. Problems regarding discipline crew are the low awareness of the ship's crew of the importance of discipline while working on the ship. The right way to overcome this is to conduct training to increase crew awareness and to conduct periodic evaluations of the implementation of activities that assess the discipline of the crew. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the competence and discipline on the performance of PT. Myclin Express Offshore with technical data analysis using multiple regression methods. The independent variable in this study is the competence variable and the disciplinary variable, while the dependent variable is the performance variable PT. Myclin Express Offshore.
Crew of the ship is a very important component in supporting the ship operations of shipping company. Bad performance can prevent companies for reaching their objectives. In the process of work, ship's crew get compensation contains direct compensation and indirect compensation. The Purpose of this research is to analyze how much the effect of compensation on ship crew performance of FC. Ratu Giok-2 with data analysis techniques using Simple Linear Regression Methode. Period of this research is from August 2016 until July 2017. Independent varaible is compensation and dependent variable is ships crew performance. Population as well as sample is 32 respondents who are ships crew of FC. Ratu Giok-2, data obtained through questionnaries and process with SPSS program. Based on analysis of determinant coefficient get 57%. This is indicate that percentage of compensation variable contribution to ship crew performance variable is 57%, the other 43% is effected by other variable ouside the research such as training, competence, motivation, and etc. Its mean that compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on ships crew performance. Based on the calculation of average score of each indikator on compensation variable through questionnaries, the lowest score is basic salary indicator. This is indicate that ships crew feels that the basic salary which they got from company not fulfill their needs. Then the lowest score in ships crew performance variable is efficient work indicator. Its show that ships crew feels that they haven't work quickly, accurately, and safely.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara Cabang Kalimantan Timur, perusahaan ini merupakan salah satu perusahaan pelayaran swasta yang bergerak dalam bidang keagenan kapal. Seiring pertumbuhan dan perkembangan perdangan internasional, kegiatan kunjungan kapal di wilayah perairan dan pelabuhan Indonesia menjadi potensi besar bagi perusahaan pelayaran yang bergerak dibidang keagenan kapal. PT. Bahari Eka Nusantara Cabang Kalimatan Timur mempunyai potensi yang cukup baik dalam memberikan pelayanan terhadap kapal-kapal yang diageni, maka dari itu pihak management perusahaan harus memperhatikan bagaimana kualitas seta kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia dan peningkatan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan untuk mendapatkan kinerja keagenan yang berkualitas dan mampu bersaing. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pangaruh kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja sumber daya manusia dalam keagenan kapal di PT. Bahari Eka Nusantra Cabang Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Penelitian ini diawali dengan penentuan sampel kemudian menyebar kuisioner kepada 20 responden didapat perhitungan statistik dengan uji t variabel kompetensi (X1) dan kepuasan kerja (X2) secara mandiri berpengaruh terhadap (Y) kinerja sumbner daya manusia. Variabel X1 berpengaruh signifikan.
LPG / C Griya Borneo is a gas vessel with a semi-pressurized type, where the supporting components in the form of cargo handling equipment have a very big influence on the success and safety of ship operations. This is important to note because when the ship will carry out the loading process, the load temperature must be in accordance with the boiling point. High temperatures on ammonia loads can increase the pressure in the tank so that it exceeds the specified pressure limits and ammonia loads that have high temperatures need to be reliquefaction. In addition, the compressor compressor suction pressure that does not work in accordance with what is expected to affect the reliability process. This resulted in the reliquefaction process being longer than usual. The long reliquefaction process results in more fuel being used so that it costs a lot. Therefore the writer makes a thesis related to the problems experienced by the ship owned by PT Humpuss Transportasi Kimia aims to find out how much influence the compressor compressor suction pressure and tank pressure on the process of reliquefaction on the LPG / C Griya Borneo ship, the place where the authors practice.
Ruang muatan yang disiapkan dengan baik merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan bongkar muat, sehingga pelaksanaanya dapat dilakukan sebaik mungkin. Persiapan ruang muatan yang efektif, efisien, dan terkoordinasi dengan baik sangat memerlukan perencanaan dan penetapan strategi yang tepat. Dengan perencanaan dan strategi yang baik maka sebelum kapal tiba di pelabuhan tujuan, ruang muatan telah siap untuk dimuati sesuai dengan standart yang telah ditetapkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk membantu memberikan membuat perencaan dan penerapan strategi suatu perusahaan, serta memberikan efisiensi waktu dalam mempersiapkan ruang muatan. Metode penelitian dengan pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data yang dikumpulkan dan digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan dan penarikan data menggunakan teknik observasi, kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Pembahasan dari penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa perawatan ruang muat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlambatan proses pemuatan pada MV. Dewi Shinta Manggala, bahwa kurangnya keterampilan crew berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlambatan proses pemuatan pada MV. Dewi Shinta Manggala serta bahwa pengaruh perawatan ruang muat dan kurangnya keterampilan crew mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama terhadap keterlambatan proses pemuatan pada MV. Dewi Shinta Manggala. Dari hasil pembahasan dapat diinterpretasikan kondisi dalam periode yang diteliti bahwa pengaruh perawatan ruang muat dan kurangnya keterampilan crew mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama terhadap keterlambatan proses pemuatan pada MV. Dewi Shinta Manggala. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, pengaruh perawatan ruang muat terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlambatan proses pemuatan pada kapal dengan thitung ( 2,690) > ttabel sebesar (2,052), Kurangnya keterampilan crew terbukti positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlambatan proses pemuatan dengan thitung > ttabel (3,209 > 2,052), Variabel pengaruh perawatan ruang muat dan kurangnya keterampilan crew secara bersama- sama terbukti positif dan signifikan terhadap keterlambatan proses pemuatan pada MV. Dewi Shinta Manggala. dengan F hitung > F tabel atau 21.320 > Ftabel sebesar 3,61.
