Islamic values have been recognized as the positive values need to be integrated in enhancing learning competencies including problem-solving skills. This study aimed to determine the influence of learning inquiry model based on Islamic values toward problem-solving skills of tenth-grade students in Bandar Lampung. This quasi-experimental research used posttest only control group design. The treatment for the experimental group used guided inquiry learning model based on Islamic values, whereas the direct instruction learning model was applied in control group. The students’ problem-solving skills data were collected using a test. The data was analyzed using independent samples t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence of guided inquiry learning model based on Islamic values toward students’ problem-solving skills, t(58) = 2.807, p < .05. The integration of Islamic values in the biology learning process can promote students’ problem-solving skills. Therefore guided inquiry learning model based on Islamic values can be an alternative model in empowering students’ problem-solving skills.
We investigate the suitable model to carry out environmental engineering primarily in aspects of social resilience and tourism in Plajan Village Jepara Central Java. Using a mixed method, this study shows that social and tourism resilience can be developed by involving stakeholders in the village consisting of communities, entrepreneurs and local governments, as well as academic groups; these forces are communities that work together synergistically and coordinative. “The necessary conditions” for local environmental engineering towards social and tourism resilience in a sustainable manner is the need for village infrastructure, especially for tourist sites or spots that are still lacking in information. This infrastructure can be divided into two things: “gray infrastructure” and “blue infrastructure”. Gray infrastructure is public infrastructure that can disrupt community activities and tourism, such as roads, bridges, social infrastructure, while Blue infrastructure is directly related to local environments such as protected forests and water resources.
<span lang="EN-US">The role of Pos Indonesia Navy Puger is very essential, not only as implementing policies to empower marine defense areas, but during the Covid 19 pandemic, they were also actively involved in helping to overcome the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic. Covid 19 has an impact on various aspects of life and levels of society, including fishermen. Puger fishermen can survive in carrying out their role in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic based on good social solidarity. Social solidarity is one of the identities of the fishing community, as well as strengthening resilience in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the significance of the role of Pos Indonesia Navy and social solidarity on the resilience of the Puger fishing community in dealing with Covid 19. The research approach used is quantitative with method of structural equation modeling (SEM) by testing confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis. The samples taken were 150 respondents from a total population of 10,329 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The results of hypothesis testing for each construct show that the role of Posal has a positive effect on fishermen's resilience but is less significant (</span><span lang="EN-US">β</span><span lang="EN-US">=0.189 p: 0.067 > 0.05), while social solidarity has a positive effect on fisherman resilience and significance (</span><span lang="EN-US">β</span><span lang="EN-US">= 0.283 p: 0.011 < 0.05) .</span>
The interest of cadets is one of the considerations to determine their Service Corps while studying in the Naval Academy; though, it bears the least point compared among other aspects. Based on some views of educational experts, interest is a motivational tool that can arouse the excitement of learning. Hypothetically, cadets who have good motivation to learn are feasibly able to get better achievement. The author carried out the study to find out the distinction of motivation and learning achievement between cadets with the corps of their interests and those whose corps are not on their interests: the influencing factors upon motivation and learning achievement; and simulation of dynamic system of motivation and achievement with the samples of 4th-grader Cadets of 62 in Indonesian Naval Academy. By using the results of independent t-test with a value greater than 0.05. apparently there is no significant differences of motivation and learning achievement among the cadets with different corps in relevance with their interests. Then based on the descriptive analysis, factors that influence the motivation and learning achievement are: the instructors and the cadres, teaching materials, teaching and learning facilities and learning social environment with the average point of 84.25% of satisfaction level. The result from the dynamic system simulation model tells that the respondents who have very good level of interest and are supported optimally by the influencing factors, are able to achieve GPA 3.6. It proves that interest, motivation and influencing factors come in linear to better achievement among cadets. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct regular and organized evaluation toward learning factors for optimal learning achievement of cadets.
Environmental protection and recovery are the main challenges facing our society today, therefore it is important to know and understand more about pro-ecology behaviour, and what factors influence it. The study was conducted to explain the effect between Instructional Leadership on Student Pro-ecology Behaviour Quantitative method was used to analyse the results. In addition to this, the survey also used through expose fact studies. The sampling was carried out by means of multistage random sampling using the selected 100 students of MAN 6 East Jakarta. From 100 people divided into two groups that gave an assessment of Instructional Leadership below the average of 50 people and above the average of 50 people. Data analysis using t-test to test whether there is influence between Instructional Leadership on Pro-ecology Behaviour. Two opinion instruments have been developed which produce new concepts about Instructional Leadership and pro-ecology behaviour, each of which is 30 items that are valid and realiable. distribution of descriptive and inferential data. The next finding is the influence between Instructional Leadership on the Pro-ecology Behaviour that is significant (t = 1.83> t table = 1.67 α 0.05 df: 48). This shows a high or low level of positivity. The student pro-ecology behaviour was not caused by its assessment of the Melian Instructional Leadership Teacher but because of other factors. Other factors are recommended for further research both internal and external factors. The massive external factor influencing students is probably social media in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.
