Resumen: El empleo de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TIC) en el ámbito educativo es un tema frecuentemente debatido, pero no por recurrente suficientemente estudiado. Este artículo tiene el propósito de lograr un acercamiento teórico a tan complejo y controversial asunto. La investigación descriptiva realizada de tipo revisión bibliográfica con enfoque cualitativo, se sustentó en la hermenéutica, el análisis de contenido y el método analítico-sintético. Entre los hallazgos se destacan, que estas tecnologías adecuadamente utilizadas facilitan la labor del docente y contribuyen al desarrollo cognitivo, procedimental y actitudinal del aprendiz; pero aún es necesario continuar la capacitación de los docentes; a través de estrategias que procuren la alfabetización tecnológica, el desarrollo de competencias y la construcción de conocimientos digitales.Díaz Rosabal, E. This article is product of a thematic revision on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the social investigations, are a part of the stagepropaedeutic for the execution of a project for the sake of characterizing the use of these technologies in the investigating process in Sociocultural's Gestation career for the Development at Granma's University, Cuba. The strategy methodological came under asystem through the methods of documentary and hermeneutical analysis that they enabled to examine, interpreting and comparing the literature specialized to come to an end than: The present-day studies point of the paradigm county qualitative to the recognition, that favors the intervention of them TIC in the investigating processes of the Social Sciences to propitiate the reconstruction of the social context for hisbetter interpretation and understanding.
In order to analyze the formative process for the management of scientific-research of the students of the career of Socio-Cultural Management for Development of Granma's University (UDG), with emphasis in the role of Information Technologies and a communications (ICT), a descriptive study was conducted systematized by means of bibliographic review methods, hermeneutics, analytical technique-synthetic and statistical and content analysis, besides in the techniques of interview and opinion poll. The findings allowed us to conclude that the process is understood by its interdisciplinary conception and orientation towards the achievement of the culture of scientific research. Students have a medium level of scientific research skills development, highlighting the design, execution and evaluation of sociocultural development projects and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the research process; nevertheless, the professors of the integrative main discipline must draw actions for the perfecting of the process of scientific investigating formation of the students, emphasizing in the use of them ICT.
Despite the advantages that digital technologies offer to the teaching-learning process there are still limitations in their use, which was evidenced, when online education was assumed as an alternative to continue training processes in times of Covid-19. The objective of this article is to analyze the usefulness of the Moodle didactic platform during the sanitary crisis caused by COVID-19 and how this experience has served for its better use in post-pandemic face-to-face courses. For which a descriptive study with mixed focus was carried out, based on hermeneutical, analytical-synthetic and statistical methods. In addition, a survey was applied to the 16 students of the second year of the Sociocultural Management for Development career at the University of Granma. The results obtained indicate that regardless of the initial difficulties and uncertainties, the students quickly adopted online education for the development of the teaching-learning process, achieving, not only the fulfillment of the objectives of the curriculum, but also the quality of learning. They currently advocate maintaining the experience of using ICT in the post-pandemic face-to-face modality.
