Constitution Number 14 Year 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers define that teachers have a position as professionals. Professional teachers should be able to ransfer the knowledge to the students and have ability to develop themselves through scientific papers. This study aims to analyze the ability of teachers in writing scientific papers. The population of the research is the economic teacher in Pasaman Barat Regency. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to 24 samples. The results of the research show that rhe teachers have low experience in writing and publishing of scientific paper. The result shows that the teachers need tutor in writing and in publication, shown by a very high TCR value of 89.17%.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy, organizational activity, family environment and locus of control on the work readiness of Padang State University students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research was an associative descriptive study with a population of 100 Padang State University students. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling with a sample of 100 students. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires. To ensure the questionnaire used in this study, validity and reliability tests were used. The data analysis technique used is path analysis with the help of SPSS 24. Before performing the data analysis technique, the classical assumption test is carried out using the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of the research on sub structure 1 show that the variables of self-efficacy, organizational activity and family environment have a positive and significant effect on the locus of control of Padang State University students. And the results of research in sub structure 2 show that the variables of self-efficacy and locus of control have a positive and significant effect on work readiness of Padang State University students while the variables of organizational activity and family environment are not proven to have a significant effect on work readiness of Padang State University students. West and East coast of Sumatra are two different geographical and trade routes. The West Coast is connected with trade direction to India, Arabia and Africa while on the East Coast it is connected with trade in the Malacca Strait, East Asian economy. Based on photos of satellite images at night, the east coast has more light compared to the west coast. This study analyzed the differences in economic inequality between the economy of the population residing in the West Coast Region and the East Coast of Sumatra. This study took data sourced from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency published in the last 5 years, 2013-2017. The data were processed using SPSS and Excel using the Williamson Index analysis tool. There are 23 Regencies / Cities in the West Coast and 23 Regencies / Cities in the East Coast analyzed where the West Coast average growth rate in the last 5 years is 5.17% and East Coast 5.48% with the Inequality index using the Williamson Index formula in West Coast 0.37 and East Coast 0.28. It was found that economic activity on the East Coast tends to be more lively and higher economic growth with a low level of inequality compared to the West coast of Sumatra
This activity aims to describe the inhibiting factors of the health of Aneka Sulam Producer's Cooperative in Agam Regency. Cooperative health level based on seven aspects such as capital, productive asset quality, management, efficiency, liquidity, independence and growth, identity of the cooperative, and analyzing the factors that influence it. The results of the activities showed that the factors that hampered the health of cooperatives included internal disputes that were expected to cause difficulties in the development of the cooperatives concerned, the wrong of bookkeeping or window dressing so that the impact on the assessment became erroneous and the cooperatives carried out savings and loan business activities but were not recorded correctly. For this reason, it is necessary to have better cooperative management in the future.Keywords : cooperative health, capital, management, liquidity, identity of the cooperative
This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on member's participation of student cooperative of Universitas Negeri Padang. Service Quality is measured by Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy and Physical Evidence. This research is a descriptive research using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis, the population is active members of student cooperative of Universitas Negeri Padang. Data were collected using questionnaires. The results of the research indicate that there is no influence between each dimension of Service Quality to participation of cooperative members, so to increase the participation of cooperative members, cooperative management can do other things that are not related to the quality of service.
