Th is research aims at d iscovering the teaching method, by which students' commun icative competencies can be developed. The detailed objectives of the study are: designing a co mmunicative method for teaching listening and speaking at Syekh Nurjati Islamic state university-Cirebon-. In addition, the research also endeavors to determine methods of application, its constituents, obstacles, range of effectiv ity, advantages and disadvantages. To achieve such objectives, the researcher used the mixed methods on the concurrent embedded design, which co mbines quantitative and qualitative research. The research is founded on three basic theories , among wh ich are: teaching motor performance, teaching skills and language as a means of communication. The findings revealed that designing the commun icative teaching method correlates with the interactive-constructive approach. In applying the method, several teaching techniques, such as: dialogue, information exchange, role play, lecturing, debating, and d iscussion, were used. The pillars of this teaching method are: using a book based on the communicative approach and creating a positive impression in the students with regard to teaching. Among the obstacles are: introversion of some students: enabling commun icative teaching of developing students' communicat ive competence in the skill of listening and speaking in order to perfect comprehensive competence by securing extra time.
<p>ووفقا لمصادر التاريخ المحلية سواء أ كانت شفوية ام كتابية، فكان الرواد الأوائل في نشر دين الإسلام في أرض باسوندان (Pasundan)، هم ثلاثة أشخاص من أبناء ملك باججرن (Pajajaran) : الأمير جكرابوانا (Cakrabuana) وشريف هداية الله (Syarif Hidayatullah) ، وملك كيان سانتانج (Kean Santang). بالرغم من أن معظم المؤرخين يشكون في وجودهم ودور هؤلاء الثلاثة لكثرة عدد الأسماء التي نسبـت إليهم، والخطأ في أخذ المصادر، ولكثرة الأساطير التي تم العثور عليها في المصادر المحلية. <br />واستنادا إلى الواقع التاريخي هذا، فإن هذه الورقة هي محاولة لكشف الغموض أو عدم وضوح الموقف، والوظيفة، ودور الشخصيات الثلاثة في عملية الأسلمة في أرض باسوندان.<br />الطريقة المستخدمة في هذا البحث هو الطريقة التاريخية-السيميائية باستخدام النصوص كمصدر للمعلومات. النصوص المستخدمة هي المخطوطات الآتية:<br />Naskah Negara Kretabhumi, Carita Purwaka Caruban Nagari, Babad Cerbon, Sajarah Cerbon, Sajarah Babad Nagari Cerbon, Babad Sunan Gunung Djati, Wawacan Sunan Gunung Djati, Babad Walangsungsang, Sajarah Lampahing Para Wali Kabeh, Wawacan Prabu Kean Santang dan Babad Limbangan.<br />اتضحت النتائج أن الرواد الأوائل في نشر الإسلام في الساحل الشمالي لمنطقة شيريبون (Cirebon)هو العالم شريف هداية الله أي سونان غونونج جاتي(Sunan Gunung Djati).</p><p><br /><em>According to local history sources both oral and written, early pioneer for spreading Islam in Tatar Pasundan are three royal Pajajaran, namely the Pangeran Cakrabuana, Prabu Kean Santang and Syarif Hidayatullah. However, most chroniclers doubted the existence and the role of three characters because of the many names which are used to them, error in citing, and many myths related to them. This paper will try to unravel the mystery, function, and role of three characters in the process of Islamization in the Tatar Pasundan. The method used in this study is the historical method. The texts used are Manuscripts of Negara Kretabhumi, Carita Purwaka Caruban Nagari, Babad Cerbon, Cerbon history, history of Nagari Cerbon Babad, Babad Sunan Gunung Djati, Wawacan Sunan Gunung Djati, Babad Walangsungsang, the history of Lampahing Parawali Kabeh, Wawacan Kean Santang and Babad Limbangan. The results show that the first pioneers of spreading Islam in the coastal north of Cirebon were the prince Kean Santang, and Syarif Hidayatullah (Sunan Gunung Djati).</em></p>
Abstract-Pesantren develops in line with the mission of the community organization. Nahdatul Ulama (NU) produces many boarding schools with very strong NU characteristics, as well as Muhammadiyah and Persatuan Islam. Each pesantren affiliated with a particular organization generally has its own nuance of interest to be studied, ranging from aspects of curriculum, practice of worship, to coaching and empowerment of people who are in pesantren environment.This study aims to determine how the pattern of guidance and community empowerment and supporting factors and factors inhibiting the development of community empowerment within the Pesantren Sukahideng, Tasikmalaya. This research uses qualitative method. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews to the leadership of pesantren and the community within the Pesantren Sukahideng, Tasikmalaya. The results of this study indicate that Pesantren Sukahideng has a special division that handles community empowerment. The supporting factor is a strong commitment both from the pesantren and the community. The inhibiting factor comes from immigrants who are not familiar with the traditions and culture of society. This pattern of community development and empowerment is very much in line with the concept of pesantren development.
Curriculum is the core of the field of education and has an influence on all educational activities. Given the importance of curriculum in education and human life, the preparation of curriculum can not be done carelessly. The preparation of the curriculum requires strong foundations, which are based on the results of in-depth thinking and research. The curriculum of PT is an institutional mandate that must be constantly updated in accordance with the development needs set forth in the learning achievements. This study aims to determine: 1) the condition of curriculum development in improving Arabic language skills, 2) design of curriculum development in improving Arabic language skills, 3) implementation of curriculum development in improving Arabic language skills, 4) the effectiveness of curriculum development in improving Arabic language skills, and 5) the success of curriculum development in improving Arabic language skills at the Ummul Quro Al-Islami Institute (Iuqi) and the Sahid Islamic Institute (Inais) Bogor. This research uses research and Development (R&D) method with research design includes: preliminary study, development, and testing results (validation). Data was collected through interviews, observations, tests and documentation studies, with data sources obtained from curriculum experts, field practitioners, and students. Data analysis was done by quantitative experiments through the design of one group pretest-posttest between the experimental group (using modules) with the control group (without modules). The results of the study were: 1) the condition of curriculum development in both universities in terms of 2 aspects, namely: Faculty ability, management of Arabic learning, student interest, facilities, facilities and Environment; 2) the design of the curriculum developed includes Arabic learning objectives, materials, learning techniques and evaluation to improve Arabic language skills; 3) implementation of curriculum development in both universities is implemented; 4) the effectiveness of curriculum development in both universities after the implementation of the developed Arabic curriculum can be identified that the Arabic curriculum used is more effective in improving students ' Arabic language skills when compared to the Arabic curriculum that has not been developed; 5) the success of curriculum development in both universities is obtained from the results of curriculum development in; providing support to the task of lecturers, especially facilitate lecturers in preparing learning plans, implementing learning, and evaluating learning outcomes.
Al-Zarnuji dalam kitab Talim Mutaalim memiliki visi jauh ke depan bahwasanya pendidikan perlu dibekali dengan keilmuan akhlak maupun adab yang baik demi kebermanfaatan dan keberlangsungan pola pendidikan yang agamis serta teknologis. Bahwasanya dalam pemanfaatan dunia digital tetap harus dibersamai dengan ruhiyah akhlak yang baik demi mewujudkan pemanfaatan teknologi yang positif, tanpa harus mengindahkan satu sama lain keilmuan yang sejatinya dapat berjalan secara beriringan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode library research. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan belajar menempati posisi yang penting dalam belajar. Dalam Kitab Ta’lim Muta’allim tujuan dikenal dengan niat. Pembelajaran adab sebelum ilmu sangat penting karena dengan adablah penuntut ilmu menjadi lebih terkendali dalam enggunaan teknologi dan tidak melakukan kemaksiatan saat sedang sendiri. Metode Belajar Al-Zarnuji mengemukakan beberapa metode belajar, diantaranya yaitu: intinya kepada keberhasilan anak memperoleh pemahaman. Lingkungan Dalam Kitab Ta’lim Muta’allim dikemukakan beberapa lingkungan yang ikut mempengaruhi proses belajar murid. Pembentukan pribadi atau hasil belajar murid sangat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan, dalam proses belajar bukan hanya meliputi aspek murid dan guru, melainkan juga ruang, alat-alat dan segala yang ada dan terjadi selama proses belajar berlangsung.
