Abstract. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia establishes the competence of college graduates to master the science field and being able to apply it in daily life, one of them is to connect the learning materials with the environment and cultural surroundings through Ethnoecology. The disclosure of ideas by local communities through ethnoecological learning can strengthen the nature of meaningful learning and encourage the students' positive attitude to solve the problems wisdom. The Ethnoecology form of the Sasak Tribe in Mount Rinjani National Park Area is integrated into learning in the form of local knowledge, local intelligence, and local policies. The Ethnoecology Learning development method consisting of RPS, SAP, MFIS, and assessment instruments refer to the ADDIE development model. The Ethnoecology learning developed in this study needs to be validated by practitioners and experts. Based on the feasibility validation result of the ethnoecology learning tool belongs to the category of logical and religious validity, so that it can be used as a support in the implementation of ethnoecology learning. The Sasak community of Mount Rinjani region has been developed the original system of knowledge and technology as a local wisdom. Disclosure of local wisdom through biology instructional learning can strengthen the nature of meaningful learning and encourage students to be wise in solving the problems. A positive attitude is needed in this globalization era, in order to become a superior individual and dignity, but not exclude the local culture as a pillar of national identity. The purpose of this study is to describe the potential of local wisdom of Mount Rinjani area that can be used in the development of biology instructional learning program. This is a descriptive explorative research that uses ethnography method. The data are collected through several techniques: 1) interviews, 2) observation, and 3) literature review. The data are collected from various sources in the form of qualitative data, then analyzed descriptively the appropriateness of biological concepts and local wisdom that has been identified. The results show that the Sasak people of Mount Rinjani have developed the original system of knowledge and technology as a local wisdom in dealing with nature and the surrounding environment which is derived from religious values, customs, ancestors and local culture. Local knowledge, rules and customs of the communities in the Mount Rinjani region can be used as a learning source to develop the Biology instructional learning programs.
The integration of the local wisdom of the Mount Rinjani community provides alternative solutions to educational problems that can be tailored to the needs of supplements and substitutions in the learning process. The Local Wisdom Integrated Biology Learning (LWIBL) Program is an innovative learning program designed to improve generic science skills and positive characters of students towards the environment. This study aims to develop and produce a quality LWIBL Program (valid in content and construct, and reliable). The main product is the LWIBL Program which is manifested in the form of the LWIBL Program Book. The quality of the LWIBL Program was obtained through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities using an instrument for assessing the quality of the learning programs. The quality analysis of the LWIBL Program uses average validity scores, single measure Inter Coefficients Correlation, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The results show the LWIBL Program, with the average content validity of 3.51, construct validity of 3.61, the validity of each aspect statistically (ra = 1.00) and reliability (a = 1.00), meets the quality of good category. The research implication is that the LWIBL Program is declared qualified by the assessor and it can be used to improve the students’ generic science skills and positive character towards the environment.
Oyster mushrooms have high economic potential because they can be processed into a variety of foods and snacks, as well as prospects for development in the community. One of the potentials that can be used by the hut to hone students' life skills is by providing training for the manufacture of oyster mushroom products. The purpose of these community service activities is to be expected later when students graduating from the NW Kayangan Islamic Boarding School can become young entrepreneurs who make them economically independent and can open new jobs for the people in their respective homes. Community service activities focus on training in processing oyster mushrooms into products in the form of nutritious satay and crispy mushrooms that are nutritious and of high economic value, targeting the students and teachers at Pondok NW Kayangan, West Lombok Regency. The activity method includes: (1) preparation phase, (2) counseling, and (3) demonstration and training on making oyster mushroom and crispy mushroom. This activity increases the knowledge and skills of students in processing oyster mushroom raw materials. This is evidenced by the results of processed oyster mushrooms in the form of mushroom satay and krispi mushroom created by teachers and students.
ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis kearifan lokal Desa Sembalun untuk peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan rancangan model 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi kearifan lokal, lembar validasi ahli, lembar observasi keterlaksanaaan pembelajaran, tes hasil belajar kognitif, dan lembar angket respon siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik observasi kearifan lokal, validasi, observasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil observasi kearifan lokal yaitu dilihat dari hasil wawancara memperoleh skor total yaitu 62% dengan kategori baik. Modul yang telah dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh 2 dosen ahli, dengan skor rata-rata 3,70 pada kategori valid. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dengan nilai skor rata-rata keseluruhan yaitu 89,9% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada uji keterbacaaan skala kecil dengan nilai N-Gain yaitu 0,36 dengan kategori sedang. Respon siswa dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan yaitu 3,47 dengan kategori baik. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII Mts. Al-Banun.Kata Kunci: Modul, Kearifan Lokal, Hasil Belajar Kognitif.ABSTRACT: Local wisdom-based science learning modules are one of the science learning models that are oriented to the integration of the values of community local wisdom into science learning material. The aim of the study was to develop a science learning module based on the local wisdom of Sembalun Village to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students. The research is a development research with a 4-D model design consisting of 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research instruments included local wisdom observation sheets, expert validation sheets, learning comprehension observation sheets, cognitive learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaire sheets. Data collection techniques used is local wisdom observation techniques, validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results of the study stated that the interview results obtained a total score of 62% with good categories. The modules that have been developed are then validated by 2 expert lecturers, with an average score of 3.70 with valid / non-revised categories. Implementation of learning (RPP) with an overall average score of 89.9% with a very good category. Cognitive learning outcomes of students in the small scale readability test with the N-Gain value of 0.36 with the medium category. Response of students with an overall average score of 3.47 in the good category. The results of the study can be concluded that the local wisdom based science learning module can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of VII class Mts Al-Banun students.
