Background: university students are believed to retain the highest levels of health literacy. They are perceived as the opinion leaders within their communities; therefore, their health-related beliefs and attitudes are deemed important for public health campaigns. This study aimed to investigate the COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy drivers among university students in the Czech Republic. Methods: a cross-sectional study using a self-administered questionnaire was carried out in the weeks before the unrestricted vaccine deployment to Czech adults. The questionnaire had 21 multiple-choice items stratified in 4 categories; demographic characteristics, COVID-19-related anamnesis and influenza vaccine experience, attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccination, and the possible drivers of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy suggested by the WHO-SAGE. Results: out of the 1351 included students, 66.8% were females, 84.5% were Czech nationals, and 40.6% enrolled in healthcare programs. The overall COVID-19 vaccine acceptance level was 73.3%, 19.3% of participants were vaccine-resistant, and only 7.4% were vaccine-hesitant. Trust in the pharmaceutical industry, trust in healthcare providers, and perceived knowledge sufficiency predicted higher odds of vaccine acceptance. In contrast, media and social media, personal beliefs, immunity misconception, previous COVID-19 infection, and suspicions about novel vaccines and the local availability predicted higher odds of vaccine hesitancy. Conclusions: The findings of this study predict a fair probability to achieve community immunity (herd immunity) among the target population group. The primary prevention strategies in the Czech Republic need to be culturally sensitive and inclusive for foreign nationals. As one-quarter of the participating students are dependent on vaccine safety data, this study findings support the call for independent studies evaluating the side effects of COVID-19 vaccines.
Using the internal portal of the teacher is an expedient method of optimizing the educational process of the general school. At the initial stage of work, the features of development and existing software tools for the development of software using the technology of the augmented reality have been explored. At the development stage, using the tool kit Vuforia, the ARKit software library and the Unity 3D frameworks, a structure and model of the tool for mocking the objects on the map of the city of Melitopol was developed. At the last stage of the work, the database of the software was filled with a set of places markers in the city of Melitopol. On the basis of the analysis of scientific, special literature and network sources, the concept of the portal is considered, which is considered as a web site intended to provide integrated information; a multilevel combination of resources and services that include a link to other sites whose topics correspond to the visitor's insights to the portal. Horizontal (custom), vertical, corporate and industrial portals are highlighted. It was determined that most portals of educational orientation belong to vertical-portals. The paper defines the educational port-lu as a systemic multi-level association of various informational and educational resources and program complexes, which operate on the basis of a single database and unified standards of information exchange, designed for a certain audience of users and intended for analysis, processing, delivery of educational information and the provision of access to a variety of personalized gray whales using any device connected to the Internet. On the basis of the analysis of the Ukrainian segment Inter-No, the education of portals by subject was classified into the following groups: informational content of portals assigned, education news; educational-methodical-the content of the portals is aimed at helping teachers in preparing for the on-school educational process in school; Subjects-the content of the portals is aimed at helping teachers in preparing for the lessons; service-portals provide services for organizing and maintaining the educational process of the school; qualification improvement-portals that enable teachers to improve their professional competence; regional. Based on the experience of using portal systems in the learning process, it has been determined that such portals as "Class Rating" and "Diary" are widely used in Ukraine. In the work, methodical recommendations for teachers on using the portal in the general education school were developed. They include a description of work with the main sections of the portal "Live tape", "Task", "Calendar". The originality of the study is to explore the peculiarities of the use of portal technologies in the educational process in the use of the internal portal of the teacher to optimize the educational process of the general school and to develop methodological recommendations for using the online portal of the teacher to optimize the educational process of the gene...
The article is devoted to the actual and practically important problem for modern science - to provide free access to the scientific creative heritage of the scientist. After all, the weight of the scientist in the professional community, his influence on the events occurring in his chosen field of science, today largely depends on how fully, constructively and organically presented the results of his research on the Internet. The central element of a visiting card of a modern scientist is a link to a personal website. Keeping your own site allows you to create an electronic library of scientific and methodological developments, share your thoughts, finds. In addition, the creation and maintenance of their site contributes to replenishing the portfolio of achievements of the scientist. The authors proceed from the basic provision that the personal page as a form of information provision in the scientific community gives scientists and specialists new opportunities for solving scientific and practical problems. The materials of the scientist, presented on the site, allow to show the level of erudition in the branches of science and culture, help to achieve public recognition. The article analyzes the scientific and special literature on web programming, examines the requirements for the creation of sites, developed a personal site of a scientist, written recommendations on its use. The developed personal site of a modern scientist is a significant source of biographical and bibliographic information, gives an opportunity to present to the international scientific community information about their activities and ideas in the form of published and unpublished scientific works, which enables the scientist to solve the issues of creating their own image in the scientific space.
Nowadays, there are a lot of psychological and pedagogical research aimed to explore students’ individual characteristics and how to take them into account in educational process, as well as to develop new teaching techniques. In this study, we focus on future IT specialists’ internal motivation to continue education and training, internal motivation for professional activity as a software engineer, and reflective skills. We consider the impact of psychological and learning training on educational motivation and reflective skills of university students. We present pedagogical technique which involves motivational training, training exercises, and learning training. In particular, we give a brief description of author’s learning training on “NoSQL databases: MongoDB and ASP.NET MVC”. The results of pedagogical experiment conducted to evaluate effciency of this technique are presented. In experimental work 405 higher education students majoring in 121 Software Engineering, 122 Computer Science, 123 Computer Engineering took part. Based on statistical processing of empirical data, we made a conclusion about potency of our technique.
