Educational technology is a set of systems consisting of tech savvy equipment, processes and methods for the effective and positive implementation of educational theories. Nowadays, when the internet is becoming widespread, and mobile device technologies such as smartphones and tablets have been developing rapidly, it is possible to access educational content without being connected to a place. Today, almost everyone has smartphones. Many social networks, sites, applications are available. Many studies have shown that technology is effective in the field of education. For teachers with foreign language and their perceptions of learning through the help of technology are important. In this study, it is important to determine teachers' perception levels of mobile applications that contribute to foreign language learning. The "mobile learning perception scale" developed to access the research data. Items that are mentioned in the scale are basically positive question, "absolutely disagree", "disagree", "undecided", "agree", "strongly agree". After analysing the reliability of the survey, the overall result was found as Cronbach ? = 0,963. A total of 180 teachers attended from North Cyprus and Russian universities. According to the result of the research, the teachers' perception of mobile learning is high. But this rate is proportional to age. There is a difference in the findings regarding the use of mobile technology when looking at the professional seniority and age ranges. This is due to the fact that recently, technology-supported trainings have been increased and the addition of "material design courses" and "technology-supported trainings" at universities play an important role in increasing perceptions. The use of mobile technology can be increased by providing in-service trainings to teachers with high professional experience and ages.

In recent years, there have been some natural and human-made disasters and severe social clashes in globally important energy regions, which has had a negative impact on the environment in general and on the development of the energy market in particular. Therefore, the development of the modern energy industry is aimed at the broad involvement of renewable energy sources (RES) in the energy balance of the world's advanced countries. At the EU level, particular attention is given to increasing the proportion of RES in total energy consumption to 12% with the installed capacity of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 3 GW. The purpose of our study is to propose a mathematical model of the electricity generation processes in renewable solar and wind energy systems by methods of the theory of impulsive, random processes as well as recommendations for the development of RES based on the analysis of the trends in consumption and production of energy resources, their supply-demand proportion, and a model for the development of the energy market. Our findings show that the proposed model will allow to optimize the structure and create adaptive energy systems of RES.

Today, as pandemic has shown, m-learning has turned into the only possible form of education in numerous cases. To take full advantage of m-learning, one should create a suitable environment and choose appropriate techniques to provide the desired results. This study aims to prove the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching science language grammar to would-be translators in vocationally oriented language learning (VOLL) via m-learning within a student-centered approach. The research covered the spring semesters of 2019–2020, 2020–2021, sampling 120 second-year students from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Academy of Engineering (seven departments). The researchers used theoretical, empirical, and experimental methods and prepared questionnaires and tests as data collection tools. The outcomes revealed all tricky issues for the students among the selected science language grammar points. The students of the experimental group used both MOODLE and the technology developed by the researchers. The experimental groups scored better than the control groups (90.1% vs. 65.4% and 89.5% vs. 67.2% correct answers in the final test, which meets the research criteria) and proved the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed teaching technology.

The study addresses the major factors preventing foreign language (FL) teachers from effective use of electronic information educational environment (EIEE) at the institutes of higher learning (IHL) in Russia to develop learner autonomy. Upon holding interviews and taking polls of 60 respondents from three universities helped the authors find out that these factors include: sketchy knowledge of information and communication technologies among foreign language teachers; poor standards of material and technical resources capability at universities; inadequate readiness of FL teachers to apply new information and communication technologies; insufficient level of FL teachers motivation to use innovative ITs at work. The contributors have worked out a number of pedagogical conditions that should be provided at the IHL to clear the barriers mentioned above: gradual development of FL teachers readiness to use the EIEE (the IT competence acquisition based on learning management systems (LMS); FL teachers activity stimulation to work in the EIEE through creating modular courses); setting up the EIEE in the IHL, which can translate all e-learning possibilities into action, the LMS, software and documentation among them. The said pedagogical conditions have successfully been tested and implemented at RUDN University.

Статья посвящена отбору и организации обучения общенаучной лексике будущих переводчиков в сфере профессиональной коммуникации с использованием электронной образовательной платформы (ЭОП) MOODLE в условиях пандемии COVID-19. В работе рассматриваются вопросы стратификации и классификации лексики научного стиля речи. Авторы предлагают собственную классификацию общенаучной лексики, основываясь на методологической триаде Т.Б. Назаровой и делят отобранную лексику в количестве 1220 лексических единиц на 12 групп. В качестве единицы отбора выступает слово-значение. Отбор корпуса общенаучной лексики основывается на следующих принципах: тематическом, практической необходимости, частотности, сочетаемости слова, коммуникативной ценности слова, строевой способности, словообразовательной ценности, стилистической нейтральности. Для обучения общенаучной лексике авторами были разработаны разнообразные упражнения с использованием ресурсов и элементов ЭОП MOODLE, что позволяет студентам в сжатые сроки самостоятельно осваивать большой объём лексического материала с помощью языковых, предречевых и речевых упражнений. Применение данной организации обучения приводит к росту мотивации к изучению иностранного языка у студентов за счет индивидуализации образовательного процесса, положительным образом сказывается на академической успеваемости.Ключевые слова: ЭОП MOODLE, общенаучная лексика, переводчик в сфере профессиональной коммуникации, пандемия.

The article is devoted to the issues of developing learner autonomy in the Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) in Russia as one of the top priorities of higher education in Russia nowadays is to train graduates with a high degree of autonomy, which has been fixed in the state standards of higher education. Foreign languages gain an ever-increasing importance within the framework of qualitative structural changes in the Russian system of higher education. Modern society urgently needs secondary linguistic personalities rather than graduates who merely speak a foreign language to a certain degree. Recent years have seen a growing demand for translators of vocationally-oriented texts, which is a result of globalization, improved cross-cultural relations, economic and political cooperation. Obviously, since students who learn English for specific purposes (ESP) have less time to acquire a foreign language in their curricula compared to those at linguistic universities, they need to develop learner autonomy and work persistently to become real professionals. To meet this demand, nonlinguistic institutes of higher learning are fully engaged in training of such translators. The article is focused on the ways to transform existing techniques, methods and approaches to form the learner autonomy of would-be translators of vocationally-oriented texts. The authors provide the necessary steps to succeed in achieving this goal, a set of various exercises to teach grammar of science language, available elements and resources of the LMS MOODLE as well as the results of experimental training of engineering students. В данной статье рассматриваются примеры применения видеоматериалов, функционирующих в интернет-среде при обучении русскому языку в специальных целях иностранных студентов-медиков в процессе геймификации. Разработанная система заданий воссоздаёт условия реального общения врача и пациента, что позволяет развить навыки профессиональной коммуникации. Предложенный материал подготовлен на основе опыта работы со студентами, обучающимися русскому языку в Медицинском институте РУДН на занятиях по научному стилю.
