This study aims to analyze research trends in online learning based on virtual class with video-assisted google classroom, the contribution of Indonesian researchers, and future research opportunities on the topic of online learning. This research method uses literature study through bibliometric analysis. In searching the articles, Publish or Perish (PoP) and Vosviewer softwares were utilized on the Scopus database. The search results consist of 264 documents selected from 2016 to 2020. The analysis results show that the publication of online learning articles with videos in the last five years has increased, which means that the research is still potential to be conducted. The most widely used author keywords in this research topic are "Video, Group, and Platform". Future research opportunities with the topic of online learning with videos in physics learning have potential opportunities where this study has increased every year and is still relevant for research.
E-Book Research Increases every year consistently and has an excellent opportunity to be developed. This study aims to examine the type of document, the author's keywords, the country's contribution to learning about the subject of e-books in physics, and potential future research topics related to e-books. Through bibliometric analysis, a literature review is used in this research method with the help of Publish or Perish (PoP) software and Vosviewer to find articles. The data source was obtained from the Google Scholar database, which obtained 13,200 articles in 2017-2021 with the keywords "E-Book Physics Education". In the meantime, the Scopus database found 21 publications with the term "E-Book Physics" from 2007 to 2021. The results of the bibliometric analysis show that the trend of research topics and the contribution of Indonesian researchers is still relatively lacking, but the highest publication contribution by Indonesia. This is a challenge for future research to prove the extent to which the existence of E-Books can continue to be developed. Additionally, there are suggestions for research areas in learning with keywords, one of which is STEM. Therefore, E-Books can be used with a STEM approach to enhance students' learning abilities, particularly in understanding physics, and be used in subsequent studies.
Objective: This study aims to explore research trends related to the use of Massive Open Online Courses in Learning Management Systems (MOOCs in LMS) in university environments and to conduct bibliometric analysis to understand research developments related to this topic. Online learning is increasingly popular with the MOOCs in LMS, which allows students to learn flexibly and independently through digital platforms. Method: The data is retrieved from the Google Scholar database, using keywords related to MOOCs in LMS and universities. This study uses a bibliometric analysis method using the Google Scholar and VOSviewer databases, which obtained 1,710 articles. Results: The results show that the use of MOOCs in LMS in the context of university learning has become an increasingly popular research topic in recent years, where the publication rate has increased significantly. This has the potential to be further investigated in the future. Further research related to MOOCs in LMS can be integrated with blended learning models. This is because the Blended learning model using MOOCs can improve critical thinking skills and problem-solving. This research has limitations, namely using only one database, Google Scholar, to obtain research data. Novelty: Therefore, it is recommended that MOOCs in LMS research at universities be carried out using other databases besides Google Scholar to obtain broader data.
Big Data research has rapidly developed in the last 10 years, making it an interesting topic to investigate to understand the trends and developments of Big Data in Education. This study aims to analyze source documents and state contributions, and visualize research trends on the subject of Big Data in education during the last 10 years and identify potential research topics related to Big Data in Education in the future. This study uses a literature review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method associated with bibliometric analysis using the Scopus and VOSViewer databases, through which 1,076 documents were obtained. The results of the bibliometric analysis show that Big Data research in education has increased significantly in the last 10 years. However, in the last year, it has decreased, this is the next challenge, and an opportunity for future research. The most common types of documents are conference papers, the source of most documents is conference proceedings, and the country that contributes the most is China. English is the most widely spoken language, and the authors with the highest contribution are Daniel, B. K. Further research related to Big Data can be used and implemented in the business world for Big Data analysis in education. Big Data can also be integrated with Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) which can be a further research opportunity that can be applied to education because analyzing Big Data requires STEM learning skills. Thus, this research recommends finding updates in the study of Big Data in education by integrating STEM in education because analyzing Big Data again requires STEM learning expertise. This study has limitations in using only one database, namely Scopus, to obtain research data. Therefore, it is recommended that Big Data in Education research be conducted using other databases besides Scopus to obtain more extensive data.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
