Scientific creativity and responsibility are believed to be key factors for overcoming increasingly complex real-life problems faced by students; but both competencies are not trained in school. Therefore, this research aims to describe the effectiveness of creative responsibility based learning (CRBL) to increase student’s responsibility and scientific creativity on physics learning in senior high school. This research used one group pretest-posttest design involving 66 students of two senior high schools in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The data collection was conducted by using responsibility observation emphasizing on participatory, cooperation, delivering an opinion, and leadership. Additionally, data were gained through scientific creativity test emphasizing on problem finding, product improvement, scientific imagination, scientific problem solving, and creative product design. The data analysis was done through qualitative descriptive, n-gain, and paired t-test. The results showed (1) student’s responsibility for each meeting is in good criteria, and (2) there is a significant increase on students’ scientific creativity at α = 5 %, with n-gain constitutes moderate category. Thus, the CRBL is believed to be effective to increase student’s responsibility and scientific creativity in physics learning
The purpose of this study was to describe the validity of the project based laboratory learning (PjBLL) model to increase science process skills and scientific creativity of students. Collecting data use preliminary research and validation phase of physics learning expert in the focus group discussion. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The tests have shown that there is conformance to requirements, design models meet the novelty scientific knowledge, and there is consistency between the components of internal models. The PjBLL model has valid can be used to improve the science process skills and scientific creativity of students. The PjBLL model has been able to support the implementation of the National Qualifications Framework Indonesia to results the competence of graduates of higher education of project based laboratory learning.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengidentifikasi peran model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan laboratorium virtual PhET dalam meningkatkan HOTs siswa SMA. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kuantitatif beserta Pre-Experimental sebagai metode penelitian yang berbentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di SMAN 17 Surabaya secara daring pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan sampel penelitian 30 siswa kelas X MIPA 5 yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui metode tes tertulis berbentuk soal esai dengan kategori HOTs yang diuji validitas terlebih dahulu sebelum diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data dilaksanakan melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis melalui software SPSS 25 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 5% serta uji N-gain untuk mengidentifikasi level peningkatan HOTs peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa data sampel homogen dan terdistribusi normal sehingga uji hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan Paired-Samples T-test dengan hasil nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model PBL berbantuan laboratorium virtual PhET pada peningkatan HOTs peserta didik dengan level peningkatan sedang dan N-gain 0,56.Kata kunci: PBL, Laboratorium Virtual, PhET, HOTs
Students' skills in critical thinking are needed in learning for problem-solving. The purpose of this study was to analyze the concept of problem-based learning models, the implementation of problem-based learning models in improving students' critical thinking skills, the effectiveness of problem-based learning models in improving students' critical thinking skills, as well as the effect of problem-based learning models on improving high school students critical thinking skills. on physics. The method in this research is a descriptive research method through literature study. In this study, the results of a review of several articles related to the problem-based learning model were obtained. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model is a problem-based learning model directly so that students are active in learning in class. The implementation problem-based learning model can train students to overcome various problems directly so that they can improve students critical thinking skills. The application of problem-based learning model is very effective when applied in the student learning process in the classroom because it can improve students' critical thinking skills. The application of the problem-based learning model affects improving high school critical thinking skills on physics material.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan blended inquiry learning berbantuan schoology dalam pembelajaran fisika di jenjang SMA dan menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended inquiry learning berbantuan schoology pada pembelajaran fisika di jenjang SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research. Data yang didapatkan berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh berdasarkan kajian jurnal penelitian dari pelbagai sumber jurnal online, artikel jurnal yang dikaji sebanyak 35 artikel. Dari artikel yang dikaji tersebut terdapat 17 artikel dengan 2 skripsi dan 2 tesis dari tahun 2017-2020 yang membahas sesuai dengan topik permasalahan. Hasil dan pembahasan dari data sekunder diperoleh bahwa model blended inquiry learning dengan berbantuan schoology ini sangat cocok diterapkan pada abad 21 terlebih pada masa transisi akibat covid-19. Model tersebut dapat mempermudah guru untuk menyampaikan materi fisika serta tahapan pembelajaran dapat selesai tepat waktu. Selain itu, model ini juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran fisika di jenjang SMA. Di samping itu persepsi guru dan peserta didik terhadap model tersebut juga sangat positif akan tetapi model pembelajaran ini memiliki kendala yaitu kendala akses ke internet, karena pada penerapan model pembelajaran ini dibutuhkan akses internet yang stabil agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan sesuai dengan harapan.
