This study aims to improve fundamental motor skill skills by using manipulative games. The method used in this study was experimental using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted by applying manipulative games in physical education learning. To measure and find out the results of the data obtained by researchers using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) software. The sample in this study was elementary school students with a total of 30 students. Random sampling with random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a gross motor skill-second edition test which was analyzed using quantitative descriptions and different tests. The research results showed an increase in the fundamental motor skills of elementary school students through manipulative games; this was because manipulative games were able to stimulate students to be active in carrying out fundamental motor skills and fun activities for students. The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant effect of manipulative games on the fundamental motor skill of elementary school students.
This study aims to modify the basic motion-based big ball game with a play approach in order to develop basic movement skills and be developed as a guide for sports teachers and learning with game concepts. The resulting product is a CD and a good ball game manual with a playing approach. The research was developed by adapting the Gall, Gall, & Borg educational research and development model. The development procedure used includes several stages: 1) analyzing the content of the developed product, 2) developing the initial game product, 3) expert validation, 4) field testing, 5) product revision of the data analysis techniques used in this study in two ways, namely quantitative and qualitative.
Archery athletes train physically and technically to be able to make a full series of bow-pulls, but athletes who can make good movements during training may not be able to do it perfectly during matches. The athlete's concentration can be disturbed by various things when competing and affect the athlete's performance and achievement. The ability to concentrate is something that can be trained through mental training. This study aims to examine whether there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation, as one method of mental training, on the concentration of archery athletes. This study uses an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study were 12 UNIMED Archery Club athletes who were divided into experimental and control groups. The instrument used to measure an athlete's concentration is the Grid Concentration Exercise. Data obtained by doing pretest and posttest in both groups. The Progressive Muscle Relation Treatment was given only to the experimental group. Wilcoxon Test analysis results showed there were differences in concentration scores between after and before treatment in the experimental group, meaning that the hypothesis "there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation on concentration in Archery athletes" was accepted. The experimental group had an average gain score higher than the control group, it showed that progressive muscle relaxation had an effect on increasing the concentration of Archery athletes.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat agresivitas atlet pencak silat Sumatera Utara mengikuti Pekan Olahraga Wilayah IX di Bangka Belitung 2015. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes penyebaran angket dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian. Adapun jumlah subjek penelitian 27 atlet pencak silat. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui data tingkat agresivitas atlet pencak silat Sumatera Utara mengikuti Pekan Olahraga Wilayah IX di Bangka Belitung adalah angket yang sebelum dilakukan penelitian angket terlebih dahulu diuji cobakan,untuk melihat validitas dan reliabilitas angket. Adapun hasil validitas angket motivasi berprestasi berada pada (rhitung) = -0,059 - 0,897 dengan rtabel = 0,444. Nilai reliabilitas angket tingkat agresivitas sebesar rhitung = 0,9873 dengan rtabel = 0,444, maka secara kolektif angket tersebut dinyatakan reliabel. Dari 40 butir angket yang diuji cobakan, menghasilkan 23 butir pernyataan yang valid dan 17 pernyataan yang tidak valid. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat agresivitas atlet pencak silat Sumatera Utara mengikuti Pekan Olahraga Wilayah IX di Bangka Belitung berdasarkan indikator diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: 1) rasa marah 62.03%dengan kategori baik, 2) emosi 69.44% dengan kategori baik, 3) frustasi 64.81% dengan kategori baik, 4) curiga 80% dengan kategori baik sekali, 5) cemburu 77.27% dengan kategoribaik, 6) merasa diperlakukan tidak adil 63.76% dengan kategori baik, 7) bersilang pendapat 66.81% dengan kategori baik, 8) membentak 74.56% dengan kategori baik, 9) berdebat 82.91% dengan kategori baik sekali, 10) mengancam 82.91% dengan kategori baik sekali. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi dengan nilai persentase jumlah keseluruhan adalah 73.13% termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kata Kunci: Agresivitas, Atlet Pencak Silat.
