Archery athletes train physically and technically to be able to make a full series of bow-pulls, but athletes who can make good movements during training may not be able to do it perfectly during matches. The athlete's concentration can be disturbed by various things when competing and affect the athlete's performance and achievement. The ability to concentrate is something that can be trained through mental training. This study aims to examine whether there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation, as one method of mental training, on the concentration of archery athletes. This study uses an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study were 12 UNIMED Archery Club athletes who were divided into experimental and control groups. The instrument used to measure an athlete's concentration is the Grid Concentration Exercise. Data obtained by doing pretest and posttest in both groups. The Progressive Muscle Relation Treatment was given only to the experimental group. Wilcoxon Test analysis results showed there were differences in concentration scores between after and before treatment in the experimental group, meaning that the hypothesis "there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation on concentration in Archery athletes" was accepted. The experimental group had an average gain score higher than the control group, it showed that progressive muscle relaxation had an effect on increasing the concentration of Archery athletes.
Kata Kunci : Dinding Geser, Pemodelan Struktur, Simpangan ABSTRACT The structure of multi-storey buildings are vulnerable to lateral force, especially due to the force created by the earthquake. Indonesia is also included in the territory which has instensitas an earthquake is high. In calculating the structure of multi-storey buildings there are two ways, namely as moment resisting frame system (MRF) and combination of MRF with shear wall. The development of science and technology has given rise to one of the solutions to improve the performance of high-level structure, namely the installation of shear walls to add structural rigidity and absorbs shear forces along with the high structure. The goal of this studi is to determine the difference of some parameters made of a combination of structural design of the building with MRF and MRF with shear wall. In this study, there are 3 modeling of structures, namely 1 models structure without shear walls, and two models of structures are at the shear wall (solid element model of shear walls and shear wall model line element). All input load, stiffness and dimensional structure is the same, just different shear wall models used. This building has 40 meters (10 floors) of height, which is the height of each floor 4 meters. The results of the analysis indicates that the significant deviation occurs due to system modeling of shear wall is different. Keywords: Shear Wall, Structure Modelling, Displacement
This study aims to obtain to find out the leading sports coaching strategy in the city of Binjai in preparation for the North Sumatra Student Sports Week in 2020 North Sumaeta. This research was held in the Binjai Sports Building, Jalan Jambi number 02, South Binjai sub-district, Binjai, North Sumatra. The methodused in this research is descriptive method with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The population in this study were allathletesfosteredbythe Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of Binjai City. As well as the source of data obtained from athletes, coaches of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) Binjai, as well as departments in KONI Binjai City.
Butterfly style handbooks are still considered limited. the lack of information and understanding in the butterfly-style swimming exercise also influences the athlete's success in achieving the quality of coordinated motion. The purpose of this study is to help provide guidance and reference aimed at coaches, athletes and the general public regarding age III swimmer-style swimming exercises. This study uses a research and development (R&D) approach which is carried out in seven stages using quantitative data. The results of the review and analysis of several experts and trials will bring up revisions. So that the butterfly swimming guide book product will be even more perfect, and can be applied as well as possible.
