The advancement of technology requires higher skill in obtaining information due to the rapid flows of information in this recent globalization era. Consequently, reading comprehension becomes an important language skill for students to nurture. In classroom practices, Indonesian students still encounter problems in English reading comprehension. The present classroom action study dealt with improving reading comprehension through collaborative learning. This is due to some studies revealed that collaborative learning is an effective learning strategy to improve students' learning achievement. The data were collected by administering a pre-test in reading comprehension prior to the teaching cycle and two post-tests at the end of every teaching cycle. The results showed that collaborative learning is significantly effective to improve students' reading comprehension and critical thinking. This study implies that teachers should consider the integration of collaborative learning in teaching reading comprehension.
Pelaksanaan GCG dalam pengelolaan perusahaan sangat penting karena akan secara langsung akan memberikan petunjuk yang jelas bagi perusahaan untuk mengambilan keputusan secara tepat dan bertanggung jawab serta memungkinkan pengelolaan perusahaan secara lebih aman, sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai perusahaan dan kepercayaan dari mitra usaha. Pelaksanaan Corporate Governance di perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia masih sangat rendah, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh adanya sejumlah kendala yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut pada saat perusahaan berupaya melaksanakan Corporate Governance demi terwujudnya prinsip-prinsip GCG dengan baik. GCG memiliki 4 prinsip dasar yaitu transparansi (transparancy), akuntabilitas (accountability), pertanggungjawaban (responsibility), Kemandirian (Independency),dan Kewajaran (fairness). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan sejauh mana pelaksanaan prinsip-prinsip GCG pada PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo). Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi hambatan dan kendala dalam pelaksanaan prinsip-prinsip GCG Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan prinsip-prinsip GCG telah dilakukan dengan baik di PT. Jasindo, selain itu terdapat beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaannya.
Competence is usually associated with highly professional performance and there is a direct link in the field of education between a teacher's professional competence and students' performance. The present study explores teachers' competences in dealing with instructional constraints to develop a higher quality of learning. The participants were pre-service junior high school teachers. The analysis includes teachers' strategies in encountering the various constraints and problem faced by the teachers in conducting teaching and learning process. This study made use of a qualitative research design in which the data were analyzed analytically with deep argumentation and presented descriptively. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with the selected junior high school teachers. The findings of the present study indicated that pre-service junior school teachers employed some strategies in dealing with the students' learning constraints which mainly modifying teaching strategies and motivating the students to learn more actively. This study suggests that teachers should continually develop their competence in dealing with various problems found in the classroom.
Recently online learning has been developed widely in Indonesia and most of the education institutions implemented online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of online learning is to facilitate communication in the delivery of teaching materials in the field of education that is carried out remotely. It is generally intended for non-face-to-face teaching methods. This study was conducted to investigate the usefulness and the challenges encountered by the teachers in implementing online learning. This study made use of qualitative research design with descriptive analysis and to collect the data semi-structured interviews and online classroom observations were conducted to collect valid and reliable data. This study found that there was the usefulness of online learning which benefits students to improve their competence and also there were a number of challenges encountered by the teachers. Therefore, this study implies that teachers should acknowledge the challenges of online learning to create a better online learning activity.
Writing is considered a difficult language skill for students to master comprehensively. Therefore, it is necessary to improve students' writing skills in a meaningful way. This paper is therefore intended to discuss students' improvement in writing skills through executing a demonstration technique. The data were collected through administrating pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. The result of the study showed that students had various obstacles in learning writing and they were struggling to obtain a higher level of knowledge in writing procedure texts, however, through a careful and intensive implementation of demonstration technique, students' writing achievement improved significantly from session to session in all classroom writing practices. Students were not only able to write better procedure texts but their works are much worthy as well. In a nutshell, students' writing needs continually enhancing and demonstration technique is very much recommended to be implemented in classroom writing activities as an alternative teaching technique.
The objective of this study was to investigate the essay-writing skills of students in Indonesian education institutions. A descriptive study approach was used to collect data from a group of students. Students were given three topics to choose from and were instructed to write academic essays within a certain time range. The student writings were gathered and scored using a scoring rubric that assessed several components of the essays. The data obtained were statistically analysed using descriptive analysis to describe the students’ essay writing skills. According to the findings of this study, the majority of students performed modestly on the writing test, with some performing better than others. The research found that the students struggled with organization and consistency, while their grammar and word usage still required to be improved. The study highlights the importance of enhancing students' writing skills to a higher level.

In light of the advancement of the travel industry required arrangements and fitting ways for SMEs to answer these difficulties. Collaboration in gracefully bind the executives is thought to be a fitting action to improve hierarchical execution and increment upper hand. Gracefully Chain Incorporation (SCI) can influence authoritative execution. This article considers the effect of Gracefully Chain Mix systems on authoritative execution and investigates the impact of SCI on hierarchical execution in Miniaturized scale, Little and Medium Undertakings (MSMEs) on design items in West Java. This article utilizes a poll that was created with an approved estimation scale from past investigations and exact information was gathered through a study survey from 207 MSMEs utilizing likelihood testing. This exploration is a quantitative report with investigation utilizing SEM-PLS. This examination gives a suggestion to MSMEs in West Java specifically.
Assessment is one of the activities carried out to measure and assess the level of achievement of the curriculum and the success or failure of the learning process. The principles and strategies of the classroom assessment are used to guide how teachers always carry out intensive assessments of their students to find out their students' progress. This research examined the role of teachers and schools in implementing classroom assessments. This research method is a qualitative method where the data were analysed descriptively. Data required for this study were collected through interviews and field observations. This study found that teachers and schools have an essential role in implementing the assessment. The active role of teachers and schools in carrying out class assessments improve the quality of learning so that students' abilities can always increase. This research has implications that teachers and schools must increase their role in implementing class assessments so that schools can produce higher-quality graduates
