PT. Pena Berkah Ilmu is a medium-sized company engaged in Food & Beverage, social and humanitarian institutions, event organizers, travel and merchandise sales where this company still implements attendance methods such as signatures for employees. The attendance of each employee is recorded through the existing attendance system. However, in its implementation, sometimes there are some persons who do not attend or forget to attend. This results in the employee being considered absent. This desire arose because this company experienced difficulties in processing attendance information data, resulting in more and more hardcopy archives and making it difficult when the company's management intended to recap and re-collect data and employee attendance lists. This study uses the waterfall method which describes a systematic and sequential approach to software, starting with the specification of employee requirements, design, modeling, construction, delivery of the system to employees and complete software support that is produced. With this attendance application, it will be easier for employees to carry out attendance attendance even though they are outside the office and attendance data will later be stored in the database so that it will make it easier for the personnel department to be able to recapitulate employee data.
This study aims to find out the strategy applied by Surabaya city in implementing the 12-year compulsory education program and the funding of school operational cost of secondary education. The approach used was both qualitative and quantitative with data and information gathered from interviews, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and survey form. It can be concluded that the first strategy done by Surabaya city in supporting 12-year compulsory education was preparing a regulation support through a local government’s (including the mayor’s) laws and regulations, which mandate about educational financing. This educational budget is used in improving students’ participation and competence, improving schools’ infrastructure and facility, and improving educators and educational staffs’ competence and welfare. The only sources of school operational cost funding for public secondary schools in Surabaya are the BOS grant from central government and BOPDA grant from local government, whereas for private schools, there is also support from the community in the form of committee contribution. The 12-year compulsory education program in Surabaya can be adopted as a best practice for other districts/cities who are implementing the program.
The purpose of this study was to identify the form of feedback on the learning outcomes on 8th graders junior high school conducted by the teacher. The study was conducted in the city of Yogyakarta, Makassar, Bandung and Badung during July-August 2019. Respondents were 8th grade junior high school teachers, who teach Science and English subjects. School samples were purposely taken from students who achieve high scores in the UN. Respondents were observed during the learning process followed by interviews and discussion with other teacher. The results of the study show that the implementation of teacher feedback on student learning outcomes has not yet optimal. This is indicated by the teacher's comments on student learning outcomes only correcting mistakes, and giving the correct answers. Almost all teachers have not provide depth explanation nor additional concepts towards the mistakes in order to strengthen students’ understanding. According to respondents, there are contributing factors in giving feedbacks on the learning outcomes. These are: (1) teachers’ knowledge on the meaning and function of feedback on student learning outcomes; (2) there is no guidance from the government regarding the importance of teacher feedback, and (3) there is no training from the government about feedback. To foster teachers’ feedback on student learning outcomes requires government efforts with clear guidelines about the necessity to emphasize feedback on student learning outcomes.
Anak autis biasanya mengalami keterlambatan dalam berkomunikasi semenjak masih balita. Kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi pada anak autis dapat membuat anak menjadi sedih, marah, atau frustasi ketika tidak dapat mengkomunikasikan keinginan atau kebutuhannya. Untuk itu, perlu mencari solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, sehingga anak autis dapat berkomunikasi seperti anak pada umumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar dalam mengembangkan penguasaan kosakata pada anak autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang anak berinisial AZH berusia 4 tahun 10 bulan. Adapun instruktur dalam melakukan treatment adalah peneliti dan ibu dari AZH. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 1 – 27 Februari 2019 dengan frekuensi treatment sebanyak 20 kali yang bertempat di rumah orangtua AZH di Kota Depok - Jawa Barat. Simpulan hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata pada anak autis. Hal ini dapat ditunjukan dari kemampuan AZH dalam menguasai seluruh kosakata (26 kosakata) yang diberikan dengan waktu 27 hari. Saran dalam penelitian ini yakni pemberian treatment untuk mengembangkan penguasaan kosakata pada anak autis melalui media gambar sebaiknya kosakata yang diberikan pertama kali yakni kata benda dengan dua suku kata dan empat huruf. Selain itu, usahakan anak tersebut diperlihatkan benda aslinya sesuai dengan gambar yang ditunjukan.
ABSTRAKMembaca buku dapat membuka cakrawala dunia sehingga dapat menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Artinya jika suatu negara masyarakatnya gemar membaca, akan berdampak pada kemajuan suatu bangsa itu sendiri. Masalah yang dihadapi Indonesia yaitu masihrendahnya minat membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah di sekolah menengah atas dan menyusun langkah penguatannya. Penelitian ini menggu-nakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah dilakukan melalui focus group discussion bersama guru terkait yang tersebar di enam provinsi sebanyak 72 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat satuan pendidikan SMA yangtelah menerapkan gerakan literasi sekolah yang dengan ditandai gerakan membaca 15 menit sebelum jam pelajaran dimulai, dan 2) jenis kegiatan gerakan literasi sekolah diantaranya persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah gerakan literasisekolah di sekolah menengah atas belum berjalan secara optimal, sehingga perlu dilakukan langkah-langkah strategis untuk mencapai hasil yang diharapkan.
