ICT advancement can be utilized to improve the quality of education. In this globalization era, the millennial generation is demanded to be technology literate and fluent in English to compete in the global world considering that English has been established as an international language. Therefore, the integration of English into learning in the form of multimedia bilingual learning is needed. This study aimed to determine the feasibility, attractiveness, and effectiveness of bilingual learning multimedia on the integral application material for vocational schools. This research is research and development. Based on the results of validation and field trials, the developed bilingual mathematics learning media was in the feasible, interesting, and effective categories. The feasibility of the bilingual learning multimedia based on the material expert validation obtained an average of 4.6 and the media expert validation obtained an average of 4.9 which indicated that the developed product was in the feasible category. The attractiveness of bilingual mathematics learning multimedia based on students’ responses was 89% in the very interesting category. The effectiveness of the developed bilingual learning multimedia to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes was known based on the N-Gain value of 0.8 in the high category.
Instagram Reel is one of the social media currently popular, but it has not been widely used to create mathematics learning media. This research aims: (1) to develop a learning Instagram Reel for the subject of linear Equations for Junior High School and (2) to find out from the Instagram Reel developed in this study. The research method used is Research and Development (R & R&D) with the ADDIE model, consisting of 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 22 students of SMP Negeri 3 Bantul. The result of this research is Instagram Reels learning for the subject of linear Equations for Junior High School, presented through the Instagram account @mathematics_fun. This Instagram reel was declared suitable for use because the average total validation score for aspects was 4.61 (including the very valid category), and the average student response questionnaire score was 3.91 (including the good category). The implication is that teachers are advised to use Instagram Reels as a learning medium. It is recommended that teachers develop Instagram for other materials.
ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop Instagram social media-based learning media that can be used in learning on Limit and Continuity, and to determine the feasibility of the learning media created. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model through 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak with the subject of 31 students of class XII MIPA 2. Data collection techniques used validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The result of this research is the product of the Calculus learning video that is presented on Instagram with the name 'Mathematics Asik'. The results of the feasibility show that the learning media made are suitable for use. In addition, the results obtained a positive and significant correlation between the test questionnaire scores and the learning outcome test scores.Â
The aim of this research was to develop a module of Geometry at junior high schools for Think Pair Share Learning based on Ki Hadjar Dewantara teachings and to determine the feasibility of the module. This study was used Research and Development (R&D) method. This research has produced a module of geometry. It has been tested twice, namely a limited trial of 5 students and a main trial of 25 students in SMP N 12 Yogyakarta. The module has been validated by the material expert validator and the module expert validator who are lecturers of mathematics education department and the teacher. The mean score for the material is 3,59 wich is categorized very well, while mean score the module is 3,77 wich is categorized very well too. The student questionnaire responses obtained an average score of 88,09 and the percentage of learning accomplishment was 93.92%. As a result, this module was very well criteria and feasible to use. Eligibility is also supported by the correlation of students’ questionnaire response scores and learning achievement tests with a correlation coefficient of 0.53 with a high category, so this module is feasible to use.
