ICT advancement can be utilized to improve the quality of education. In this globalization era, the millennial generation is demanded to be technology literate and fluent in English to compete in the global world considering that English has been established as an international language. Therefore, the integration of English into learning in the form of multimedia bilingual learning is needed. This study aimed to determine the feasibility, attractiveness, and effectiveness of bilingual learning multimedia on the integral application material for vocational schools. This research is research and development. Based on the results of validation and field trials, the developed bilingual mathematics learning media was in the feasible, interesting, and effective categories. The feasibility of the bilingual learning multimedia based on the material expert validation obtained an average of 4.6 and the media expert validation obtained an average of 4.9 which indicated that the developed product was in the feasible category. The attractiveness of bilingual mathematics learning multimedia based on students’ responses was 89% in the very interesting category. The effectiveness of the developed bilingual learning multimedia to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes was known based on the N-Gain value of 0.8 in the high category.
The antibacterial and antifungal screening were performed in vitro by the filter paper disc diffusion method and poisoned food technique. The flavanones showed antibacterial activity while no activity was observed to their corresponding chalcones against the tested bacteria. On the other hand, chalcones and their corresponding flavanones both showed fungicidal activities.
Computers have taken on a large role in education, including testing and evaluation. Traditional tests that aren't comprehensive and don't distinguish between students' beginning talents lead to measurement findings that aren't representative of their true abilities. This study aims to develop and test assessment tool eligibility class that is used as an LMS-based adaptive. This type of research includes development research. The respondents of this study were experts who assessed the validation and students of SMK Electrical Power Installation Engineering Expertise Competencies. The data analysis technique used item response theory, classical test theory and descriptive statistics. Item analysis using the Rasch Model showed 10 items were not fit and the remaining 50 items were fit. Classical test theory analysis items with less validity there are 0 items, moderate there are 55 items, and high there are 5 items, with an Alpha reliability of 0.934. The attitude questionnaire developed consists of 8 items. There are 0 items with less validity, 6 items being moderate, and 2 items high, with an Alpha reliability of 0.731. The developed observation guide contains 16 observations. Items with less validity have 0 items, while there are 15 items, and 1 item high. The use of CAT-assisted learning management systems on research tools greatly facilitates teachers in conducting research accurately and practically.
Abstract7-Hydroxy-3,4-methylenedioxy-and 7-benzyloxy-3,4-methylenedioxy flavanones have been synthesized starting from 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone. Subsequently biocidal activities of the flavanones have been investigated along with their corresponding chalcones against some bacterial and fungal strains. 2-Hydroxy-4-benzyloxy-3,4-methylenedioxy chalcone (5) and its corresponding flavanone (7) showed good antibacterial and antifungal activities against some selected bacterial and fungal strains. On the other hand, 2,4-dihydroxy-3,4-methylenedioxy chalcone (4) showed no antibacterial and antifungal activities while its corresponding flavanone (6) showed a little antibacterial activity only at higher concentration but did not show antifungal activity. The synthesized chalcones and flavanones have been characterized using UV-Vis, IR and 1 H NMR spectral data together with elemental analysis.
This paper will analyze, interpret and describe character education found in Sipakata culture or become the basis or basis in the development of character education. Character education in society is very important to be developed based on or based on local culture. The method used in this study is a qualitative type with field-based philosophical-sociological approach, with a Bugis community research locus in Barang village Soppeng district, South Sulawesi Province, Inodonesia. This study reveals that character education found in the Sipakatau Culture, including; mutual respect and respect, advise each other, love and love each other, support each other and protect, help / help each other, and have the same human rights before the Almighty God. These values become the foundation in the development of character education which can be applied in society with three stages of planting, namely; the first stage; moral knowling (understanding the meaning contained in the cultural values of Sipakatau), the second stage; moral feeling (feeling the benefits of these values), and the third stage, namely moral action; after feeling the benefits of this value there is encouragement or motivation to make behavior (action) in everyday life. So that these values are embedded in the soul of the community.
Staphylococcus aureus is a normal bacterial flora found on the skin and mucous membranes of humans. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria can also overgrow and invade under certain conditions, act as pathogenic bacteria that cause various diseases or disorders in the body, one of which is a respiratory tract infection. The cayenne pepper plant is widely used by people in the cayenne pepper fruit section as a spice ingredient in various traditional dishes, however, the cayenne pepper leaves are still not widely used. Cayenne pepper leaves contain saponin and phenol group compounds, namely flavonoids, which have inhibitory activity against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the most active fraction inhibiting the growth of staphylococcus aureus bacteria in vitro. It carried testing the antibacterial activity of the test plants out by the solid diffusion method. The results showed that the ethyl acetate extract fraction from cayenne pepper leaves (Capsicum frutescent L.) Was the most active antibacterial fraction against staphylococcus aureus bacteria with a minimum inhibitory level (MIC) of 10% w / v with a very strong category.
This study aims to determine the effect of small and medium enterprises (SME) growth on labor absorption, the effect of regional minimum wages level for small and medium enterprises toward employment absorption, as well asthe effect of both SME growth and minimum wages on the employment absorption in Bone Regency South Sulawesi. This research was conducted at the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs as well the Manpower Office of Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. The type of researchis descriptive quantitative. The results indicates that the Adjusted R square value of this model is 0.916, which means that 91.60 percent of variations in the employment absorption could be explained by independent variables in the study, while the remaining 8.40 percent is explained by other factors which arenot included in this study. The value of AdjustedR Squares is above 50 percent and categorized inthe good category. In the other wordthe selection of variables affecting the dependent variable is already very appropriate
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
