The APOS model is a mathematical learning model based on APOS theory, with syntax consisting of phases: Orientation, Practicum, Small Group Discussion, Classroom Discussion, Exercise and Evaluation. The APOS model has been implemented in Integral Calculus courses by Class A Semester 3 Students in Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP UNIB 2017/2018 TA. Specifically for the improper integral subject, there are five students who choose to discuss improper integral LK independently in group. The purpose of this study is to see the effectivity of APOS Model Based Worksheets on the Improper Integral subject matter. The effectivity was analized from the mastery of the improper integral by giving a test, if the five students were still master the material, after the launch time of up to two months. The instrument used were a test, and an open questionnaire. From the results of this study, we conclude that mastery of the material was in category “very effective”. Based on the polling from the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the worksheet based on the APOS Model was effective to help the development of independent, diligent, thorough, resilient, responsible, jointly active, helpful, critical and creative characters of students. So, the Apos Based Worksheets was effective to use in calculus class on the Improper Integral material.

In mathematics, there are several abilities should be belong to students. One of the abilities should be belong to students is the ability of the mathematical representation. Mathematical representation ability makes it easy for students to solve mathematical problems, because students are required to make their mathematical models, by making mathematical models students will be easier to solve mathematical problems. This basic mathematical ability can be mastered well by students if students have affective abilities, one of them is self-efficacy. In this study, qualitative research methods are used. Descriptive research is chosen the type of literature study. Data collection method with literature study. This article examines the ability of the representation and self-efficacy in mathematics learning, which includes indicators of what needs to be developed in the ability of the mathematical representation, and indicators contained self-efficacy in mathematics learning. The brief description is based on an analysis of the representation abilities and self-efficacy in mathematics learning.
Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, penemuan terbimbing, strategi ekspositori AbstractThe aim of the research is to know how to the effect of guided discovery learning model to study’s result student class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu. Population of this research is students class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu. Sample of this research is student class VIII D for the experiment class apply to guided discovery learning model and class VIII E for control class apply to expository learning strategy. The technique data collection is instrument test. To analyze the instrument test data using the formula t-test with normal distribution data and homogen. Based on the research value the average study’s result experiment class higher than the average study’s result control class. The average of experimental class is 80,91 and the average of control class is 59,41. This is consistent with the value hypothesis test result valuet = 6,463 < value table = 2,000 with = 5%. Then H0 is rejected so that it can be concluded that there is the effect of guided discovery learning model to study’s result student class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu.Keyword: study’s result, guided discovery, expository strategy
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
