Traditional children play is a suitable physical activity for instructional mean in kindergarten. The research intends to develop Traditional Children Play based instructional model to optimize development of fundamental motor skills of kindergarteners. This research used research and development approach from Borg & Gall. Research's subjects were traditional children play in DIY, and kindergartens in DIY. Data were collected by interview, observation, and ducoments analysis. Collected data were analyzed in three steps: organized and reducted, displayed, and summarized and verificated. The study was done with following activities: identification of theoretical basis and determination of instructional model design, identification and analysis of traditional children play, and validation of instructional model. After being validated by material experts and teaching experts, the traditional children play based instructional model for optimizing the development of kindergarteners' fundamental motor skills consists of: (1) concepts/theoretical basis, (2) activity stages, (3) social systems, (4) principles of reaction, (5) supporting system, and (6) model impact. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh metode massed practice dan metode manipulasi jarak servis terhadap keterampilan servis atas (top spin) bola voli, (2) perbedaan hasil servis atas (top spin) bola voli yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi dan koordinasi mata-tangan rendah terhadap keterampilan servis atas (top spin) bola voli, dan (3) interaksi antara metode latihan dan koordinasi mata-tangan terhadap keterampilan servis atas (top spin) bola voli. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anak latih ekstrakurikuler SMP di Kalasan Sleman Yogyakarta, yang berjumlah 42 orang. Sampel penelitian ini 22 diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes koordinasi mata-tangan dan servis atas bola voli dengan menggunakan tes russlle-lange volleyball serve test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Anava. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan servis atas dengan menggunakan metode latihan massed practice dan metode latihan manipulasi jarak terhadap servis atas (top spin) bola voli, (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan servis atas (top spin) bola voli antara anak latih yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi dan koordinasi mata-tangan rendah, dan (3) ada interaksi antara metode latihan servis atas dan koordinasi mata-tangan terhadap servis atas bola voli. The study employed experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The research population comprised students joining the extracurricular of volleyball at SMP Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, with a total of 42 students. The sample consisted of 22 students, selected by means of purposive sampling technique. All data obtained through this study to test and measure eye-hand coordination tests and results of volleyball topspin serving were measured by Russell-Lange volleyball serving test. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen asesmen yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan siswa SMA pada permainan bolavoli. Penelitian pengembangan mengadopsi penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gall dengan 10 langkah. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan pada siswa Sekolah Laboratorium Olahraga FIK UNY yang berjumlah 24 anak dan uji coba skala besar pada siswa SMAN 1 Yogyakarta, SMAN 2 Wates, SMAN 1 Seyegan, SMAN 1 Sewon, dan SMAN 1 Tanjung Sari berjumlah 120 anak. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa pedoman observasi, sedangkan analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis diskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah instrumen pengamatan hasil belajar siswa penjasorkes pada permainan bolavoli yang memiliki indikator, deskripsi, rubrik, prosedur asesmen. Validitas isi berdasarkan expert judgement termasuk kategori baik dan reliabilitas interrater dengan paket program Genova menghasilkan koefisen sebesar 0,82, dan Cohen’s Kappa sebesar 0,79. The research and development model chosen was the model developed by Borg & Gall, with a procedure consisting of ten stages. The field test sample consisted of the 24 students of the sports laboratory school for volleyball of the Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University and the large-scale tests were on students of SMAN 1 Yogyakarta, Wates SMAN 2, SMAN 1 Seyegan, SMAN 1 Sewon, and SMAN 1 Tanjung Sari totaling 120 students. The instrument to collect data was observation sheet, whereas data analysis used descriptive analysis. The result of the study is an instrument for assessing the learning outcomes of physical, sports, and health education for the volleyball game that includes indicators, descriptions, and rubrics of performances, and the content validity game based on expert judgment which is good based on expert judgment; Reliability coefficient of the instrument for assessing the practice of the volleyball game by means of the Genova package program is 0.82 and that by means of Cohen’s Kappa is 0.79, both satisfy the reliability requirements. Generally speaking, rattan furnitures industry is left one step behind compared to wood furniture industry. The way to solve this issue lays on the need of innovation on product development. Production aspect is one of aspects in rattan furniture industry that needs attention. This study aims to develop the rattan furniture products, especially the finishing aspect by applying batik technique. This study applies descriptive-qualitative approach. The research method used is batik technique experiment method on rattan laminating method. The techniques include pattern designing, nyanting I, coloring I, nyanting II, coloring II; nglorod; drying; coating. The results shows that batik technique can be applied in rattan furniture industry by creating some adjustments compared to batik on cloth. The adjustements applied on dipping stage by pelorodan (peeling off the wax) by flushing, and laminating as the final process so that the color and pattern will not fade. Batik can be applied on rattan by making some adjustments, mainly on the characteristics of the materials and process efficiency efforts rattan batik furniture industry.
The crawl style is a freestyle which is frequently used in national and international competitions. However, this swimming style requires much attention because of its complexity. On the other hand, it is very beneficial despite the facts that athletes do not like it. The objectives of this research were to examine the significant difference between two teaching methods: the pure and the progressive teaching methods. The sample of this study were 32 male students from a junior high school in Yogyakarta. The sample were divided into two groups with 16 students in the control group and 16 students in the experimental group. The data in this study were collected through a measurement on the students crawl style basic movements and the body fat level. The data were subsequently analyzed with independent sample t-test and correlation by the means of SPSS version 23. The result showed that there was a significant difference of basic movement score between the pure method and progressive method learning with p value of 0.03 < 0.05. The level of fat was not a constraint on both methods of teaching. High and low fat were positively correlated on both methods with the strength of the correlation was very high. In conclusion progressive method was better method to teach crawl style compared to the pure method of teaching because it gave many benefits for learners compared to the pure method teaching, regardless the level of the body fat.
This study aims to develop a feasible Android-based Rockport Walking Fitness Test application. This development research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of four stages of development: analysis, design, development and implementation, and evaluation. The Rockport Walking Fitness Test application contains the application menu, in the form of: (a) homepage, (b) Rockport Test, which contains a description page about the Rockport Walking Fitness Test, (c) guide, contains a guide page for application use and implementation of the Rockport Walking Fitness Test , (d) start the test, the data input page and timer that guides the implementation of the Rockport Walking Fitness Test, which continues to display the results of the Rockport Walking Fitness Test conducted, and (e) about, is a page that contains information about the Rockport Walking Fitness Test application and developer profile. Feasibility of the Rockport Walking Fitness Test application is assessed based on the assessment of material experts, obtained a score of 53.50 from a total score of 56.00 (very feasible category). Appraisal of feasibility by media experts obtained a score of 63.00 from a total score of 68.00 (very feasible category). The assessment of users in small group trials obtained a score of 42.17 from a total score of 52.00 (decent category). In the large group/field trial, the user assessment obtained a score of 49.77 from a total score of 52.00 (very feasible category). ROCKPORT WALKING FITNESS TEST APPS: APLIKASI TES KEBUGARAN KARDIORESPIRASI METODE ROCKPORT BERBASIS ANDROID AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Rockport Walking Fitness Test berbasis Android yang layak. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation, Evaluation) yang terdiri dari empat tahap pengembangan yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan dan implementasi, serta evaluasi. Gambaran umum aplikasi Rockport Walking Fitness Test memuat menu aplikasi, berupa: (a) beranda, (b) Rockport Test, yang berisi halaman deskripsi tentang Rockport Walking Fitness Test, (c) panduan, beirisi halaman panduan penggunaan aplikasi dan pelaksanaan Rockport Walking Fitness Test, (d) mulai tes, yaitu halaman input data dan penghitung waktu yang memandu pelaksanaan Rockport Walking Fitness Test, yang dilanjutkan menampilkan hasil Rockport Walking Fitness Test yang dilakukan, dan (e) tentang, merupakan halaman yang memuat informas mengenai aplikasi Rockport Walking Fitness Test serta profil pengembang. Kelayakan aplikasi Rockport Walking Fitness Test dinilai berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, diperoleh skor sebesar 53,50 dari skor total sebesar 56,00 (sangat layak). Penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media diperoleh skor sebesar 63,00 dari nilai skor total sebesar 68,00 (sangat layak). Penilaian para pengguna pada uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh skor sebesar 42,17 dari nilai skor total 52,00 (layak). Pada uji coba kelompok besar/lapangan, penilaian pengguna diperoleh skor sebesar 49,77 dari nilai skor total 52,00 (sangat layak).
The Sports Education learning program evaluation has not been completely implemented. In relation to the statement, the study aims at evaluating the Sports Education learning program in Senior High School degree. Within the conduct of the study, the evaluation involved the CIPP model. Then, the informants for the study consisted of principals, vice principals, 2 Sports Education teachers and 10 students from each of Grade X, Grade XI and Grade XII. The data were gathered by means of interview, observation and documentation. For the data analysis technique, the researcher adopted the descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the assessment in the study show that the results of context evaluation have already contained the Core Competence and the Basic Competence from 2013 Curriculum. The Components of Input have been good and the learning process of Soccer has been well-performing. Furthermore, the Components of Output show that the mean score of Core Competence 1 and Core Competence 2 belong to the “Good” category, Core Competence 3 belongs to the “Very Good” category (82.24) and Core Competence 4 belongs to the “Good” category (80.50). Therefore, it might be concluded that the Sports Education learning program in Senior High School has been well implemented. Thus, it is recommended that the Sports Education learning program should be continued with several revisions on the process.
