The phenomenon occurring along with traditional market development is the safety aspect, criminal activities, the low hospitality in serving buyers, the lack of honesty in trade, excessive price range in bargaining, and the lack of product information. This study aims to formulate model of traditional markets as cultural product outlet and tourism destination in the current era. It was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Its location is Pasar Klewer, Surakarta District with considering textile commodity specification of cultural production result of low-class economy communities with the scale of South-East Asia service. The study began with the explorations of potential, problems, effort and service of traditional markets, and government policy and commitment. Data were obtained through spatial and aspatial identification, site observation, in-depth interview, and document study. Sampling techniques were purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out by using analytical methods, including 1) External and Internal Factors Analysis Summaries to analyze potential, problems, effort and service of traditional markets, and 2) Interactive Analysis to analyze the relevance of policy, commitment and effort carried out by traditional market actors. The result shows that traditional markets are one of tourism destination with historical values as outlets of community cultural products and populist economic spaces based on human source capabilities. The benefit of this study is directly received by market actors, policymakers of Surakarta Government, community and tourists, as well as academicians in scientific development in relation to cultural-art and tourism development based on the populist economy.
Abstrak Pariwisata merupakan sebuah kegiatan dalam rangka memberikan kepuasan atau hiburan terhadap seseorang dan memiliki sifat sementara. Terdapat 5 komponen penting dalam pariwisata atau biasa disebut 5A’s tourism, salah satunya adalah Aksesibilitas. Aksesibilitas wisata merupakan segala macam kemudahan yang dapat dirasakan oleh wisatawan dalam melakukan pergerakan/ perpindahan tempat saat perjalanan wisata. Aksesibilitas wisata meliputi 5 hal yaitu Sarana penunjang pariwisata, Prasarana penunjang pariwisata, Informasi mengenai obyek wisata, Waktu, dan Managemen aksesibilitas wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan aksesibilitas wisata dalam mengintegrasikan obyek wisata dengan studi kasus di Kabupaten Karanganyar bagian timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik skoring menggunakan Skala Likert. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan secara primer dan sekunder melalui survei kuisioner, observasi lapangan, studi literatur, dan studi dokumen dari dinas terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan aksesibilitas wisata di Kabupaten Karanganyar bagian timur dalam mengintegrasikan obyek wisata memiliki tingkat kesiapan yang sedang dengan perolehan skor sebesar 11,06.
Kecamatan Jatinangor Kabupaten Sumedang, ditetapkan sebagai Kawasan Strategis Provinsi (KSP) Jawa Barat dengan arahan prioritas pada bidang lingkungan hidup berdasarkan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2009-2029. Selain itu, Jatinangor juga memiliki arahan prioritas pada bidang lingkungan dan sosial berdasarkan RTRW Kabupaten Sumedang tahun 2011-2031. Jatinangor mengalami peningkatan pertumbuhan penduduk dan pertumbuhan guna lahan terbangun yang pesat, serta permasalahan lingkungan terkait air bersih yakni penurunan muka sumber air tanah, pencemaran air tanah, dan penurunan debit sumber air baku Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM). Pembahasan pada penelitian ini terkait dampak pertumbuhan penduduk dan perubahan guna lahan terhadap kualitas air bersih rumah tangga di Jatinangor. Komponen yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini meliputi laju pertumbuhan penduduk; kepadatan penduduk; peningkatan lahan terbangun; intensitas pemanfaatan lahan; kebijakan tata guna lahan; perkembangan kondisi air bersih; pengelolaan pemenuhan air bersih; dan kualitas air bersih rumah tangga berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa observasi lapangan dan kuesioner; serta data sekunder. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif, skoring, dan spatial overlay. Jatinangor mengalami peningkatan kepadatan penduduk dan perubahan guna lahan terbangun yang tinggi dari guna lahan non terbangun seperti kebun/ladang/sawah menjadi guna lahan terbangun seperti permukiman, industri tekstil, dan sarana/prasarana selama dua tahun terakhir (2014-2016). Sementara itu, Jatinangor juga mengalami permasalahan penurunan muka air tanah, pencemaran air tanah, dan penurunan debit sumber air PDAM. Dari penilaian persepsi masyarakat Jatinangor terhadap kualitas air bersih rumah tangga dapat diketahui bahwa kualitas air bersih rumah tangga menurun dan kurang memadai untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari.
Kafe yang merupakan salah satu bentuk dari “<em>third place</em>” saat ini telah mengalami perkembangan yang sangat signifikan di kota-kota besar termasuk di Kota Surakarta. Lokasi kafe di Kota Surakarta tersebar di sekitar kawasan perdagangan dan kawasan permukiman. Keberadaan beberapa kafe di kawasan permukiman terkadang memberikan beberapa permasalahan, seperti kemacetan dan kebisingan dari aktivitas kafe. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor utama dalam pemilihan lokasi kafe di Kota Surakarta. Faktor utama pemilihan kafe di Kota Surakarta didapatkan dari analisis faktor yang dilakukan terhadap penilaian pemilik kafe di Kota Surakarta terhadap faktor-faktor pemilihan lokasi saat akan mendirikan usaha kafe menggunakan skala sikap likert. Berdasarkan hasil analisis faktor didapatkan 4 kelompok faktor yang bisa merangkum 14 faktor pemilihan lokasi di awal. Faktor pemilihan lokasi kafe di Kota Surakarta ditentukan oleh fleksibilitas lokasi, kesesuaian lokasi, dukungan lingkungan sekitar, dan faktor tambahan.
<p><em>Kotagede as the capital city of the former Mataram Islam kingdom has potential culture and history tourism which places in two different areas, Yogyakarta City and Bantul region. It needs contribution between Yogyakarta government, local government and local communities to protect Kotagede. The development of tourism activities also need support from all stakeholder to make the tourism sustain. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the level of integration of tourism development components as the area of sustainable cultural tourism in Kotagede. The method of research is deductive-quantitative, while the data analisys technique used is descriptive analysis of quantitative, scoring and crosstab analysis. Results from this study is Kotagede judged to have met the criteria as a sustainable cultural tourism area with an integrated component of tourism development. However, when viewed from the stakeholder cooperation that occurred in the development of tourist areas, Kotagede showed a low value. Thus, although the components of tourism development Kotagede shows the alignment of sustainability, but the resulting relationship is still weak.</em></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em>cultural tourism area, integrated tourism, sustainable tourism, tourism</em></p>
<em>The development of modern market especially regional modern market is growing rapidly. The regional modern market is not only growing in urban areas but up to a small town like Kudus City. Regional modern market which is growing in Kudus City is Kudus Extension Mall. This modern market is the first and largest modern market in the Kudus City. The modern market is able to serve the region at the regional scale consisting of Kudus Regency society and also surrounding districts like Demak, Jepara, Pati to Rembang. In 2011 Kudus Extension Mall was growing rapidly indicated by the expansion and changes the name from Plasa Kudus to Kudus Extension Mall. The modern market developments affecting the condition of land use in its surrounding area. Based on these issues, the formulation of the problem in this research is how the influence brought by the development of modern markets Kudus Extension Mall in affecting land use changes in its surrounding areas. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Kudus Extension Mall developments to changes in land use in its surrounding areas. The method used to determine the level of influence the development of the Kudus Extension Mall to changes in land use in the surrounding areas is quantitative descriptive. These results indicate that the development of Kudus Extension Mall able to encourage changes in land use that has similar activities that are commercial and supporting activities such as residential and public service facilities. The emergence of these activities leads to changes in land use in the form of extensive changes in land use functions and intensity of land use.</em>
