PT.XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada proses pengolahan karet setengah jadi (crumb rubber) yang berada pada Kota Pekanbaru. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa ada beberapa area produksi yang terpapar kebisingan melebihi ambang batas yang telah ditetapkan, selain kebisingan yang dirasakan operator juga masih melakukan manual material handling dengan beban satuan produk yang sangat besar. Hal ini diduga menjadi penurunan dalam kualitas kerja. Penuruan dalam kualitas kerja biasanya disebabkan karena terlalu banyaknya pekerjaan yang menggunakan kekuatan kerja fisik. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh kebisingan mesin dengan beban kerja fisik yang dirasakan oleh operator dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi denyut nadi operator terhadap kebisingan di lini produksi PT. XYZ. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah metode fisiologi dan uji ANOVA. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan terdapat pengaruh antara tingkat kebisingan mesin dengan beban kerja fisik yang dirasakan oleh operator di PT.XYZ dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi denyut nadi operator adalah usia, pengalaman kerja dan juga beban yang dikerjakan
In the food industry competition in Indonesia, Big Boy Bakery which is a small-scale food industry competes with the food industry both small and large scale. This pressured Big Boy Bakery to continue to grow both in increasing the quality and quantity of production. One method that will be used is planning the layout of facilities at the production site so that it becomes the basis for consideration of the placement of important elements in the design of the construction of future production sites. Facility layout is carried out because there are differences in the distance between production operations and other production operations which cause inefficiencies in productivity. In this problem approach the method used in Big Boy Bakery layout planning is the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method. The function of SLP is to improve the layout of Big Boy Bakery, by finding alternatives that have been considered with important elements in production operations that have been taken into account at either the level of interaction, or other needs. Placement of important elements such as proper production operations, will reduce travel costs, and waste time, so that the planned layout can provide increased productivity efficiency. With the proposed spatial planning made, it is hoped that it can make a significant contribution to the development of Big Boy Bakery.
Culinary business development is now growing quite rapidly, Batam became one of the target markets of domestic and foreign businessmen in culinary business. The high competition in the culinary business is a powerful reason to apply the right business strategy to be able to survive and win the competition. One of the methods that can be used in offering business strategy is the Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS). The blue ocean is taken as a metaphor to represent these industries that may offer greater opportunity or higher profit potential. In this study the object of observation used is traditional pizza business. The purpose of this research is to create a business strategy formulation with BOS and provide an alternative solution for business development to the management in accordance with the socio-cultural conditions of Batam. The results showed that there are two strategies that should be eliminated, such strategies are to offer a partnership with no royalty fees and no separation of smoking and non-smoking area.
Floods are still the focus of attention because floods even cause many losses and casualties. A flood occurs due to the overflowing of water from the maximum limit of the water flow storage. Therefore early detection of the water level is required. This study aims to monitor water levels online as early information on floods. This supervision uses an Internet of Things (IoT) technology approach so that water level information can be known in real-time. The HC-SR 04 Ultrasonic Sensor is used as a water level reader, and the Arduino UNO R3 as a catcher processor then sends data wirelessly to the Thingspeak application so that it can be read from both smartphones and websites. The results of this study are a water level detection device that can inform what height. Safe or dangerous and can provide the notification. Thus this detection system can be used for early information on the occurrence of flooding
Kebutuhan masyarakat akan pendidikan, kebutuhan tersebut juga diiringi dengan banyaknya tuntutan dan tuntutan pekerjaan sehingga setiap lulusan harus memiliki kompetensi yang kompetitif. Hal ini mendorong berdirinya Universal University untuk menampung lulusan SMA dan SMK untuk melanjutkan pendidikan. Pembangunan Universitas dimulai pada tahun 2013. Proses pembangunan bisa dikatakan terlambat karena sudah dalam pengerjaan selama 7 tahun namun perkembangannya bisa dikatakan cukup lambat. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlambatan pengembangan UVERS. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan metode diagram Fishbone sehingga dapat mengkategorikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlambatan. Salah satu faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam keterlambatan pembangunan adalah dari segi sumber daya manusia, karena banyak tenaga kerja yang tidak memiliki keterampilan yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan yang dilakukan. Sebelum mengontrak proyek, harus ada proses pengenalan anggota vendor proyek sehingga mereka dapat memahami kapabilitas pekerja sebelum membuat perjanjian kontrak dengan vendor.
