Summary:In late normal pregnancy the mean day-night variation of non-protein-bound cortisol in plasma was found to be reduced to 52%, from a mean of 82% in non-pregnant subjects. Levels of unbound cortisol at midnight and at 9 am. in late pregnancy were raised above the non-pregnant normal. These levels led to increased urinary free cortisol excretion in pregnancy.
W . Franke und A . SchiZZinger beschrieben vor kurzem den Abbau >-on Histamin und Putrescin durch M y c o b a c t e r i u m l a c t i c o l a l ) , womit der erste Hinweis auf die Existenz der Diamin-oxydase (DO) in saurefesten Bakterien gegeben war. Schon vorher wurde dieses Enzym in mehreren Bakterien wie P s e u d o m o n a s p y o c y a n e a 2 ) , B. coli3), B. proteus3) usw. nachgewiesen.
