Based on the survey, it can be concluded that although the school has pioneered SLM, the strengthening of scientific literacy, characters, and HOTS has not been executed by all teachers who implement K-13 due to various obstacles need new policies to assess the execution of the SLM program by the local education department.
This paper describes the role of the insect, which is essential for human survival, but still people are not familiar with widely even some people consider insects no meaning or viewed from the downside. Diversity of epiphytes and insects in the canopy of palm oil plantations in North Sumatra assessed by field observations at five locations, namely, Bukit Sentang, Padang Mandarsyah, Ajamu, Sijambu-jambu, and Aek Pancur. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results obtained by analysis of the biological diversity of insects that affect the quality and quantity of farm products. In natural ecosystems, generally there has been a stable population of pests and their natural enemies so that the presence of insect pests in cropping is no longer harmful. Thereby, the conditions need to be developed so as to reduce the use of pesticides to control pests in field crops, especially in export-oriented and has high economic value.

The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to integrate higher-order thinking skills. One of them is creative thinking. Mind map integration in Problem Based Learning (PBL) is thought to be able to assist students in improving creative thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of increasing creative thinking through the integration of mind maps in PBL on eighth grade students of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The research population was class VIII SMPN 25 Pekanbaru. The research sample consisted of class VIII.1 as the experimental class and class VIII.2 as the control class. Data in the form of pretest and posttest. N-gain analysis was conducted to see the increase in student scores and MANOVA was used to examine the effect of mind maps in PBL on students creative thinking abilities. The average value of creative thinking is better in the experimental class which is 78.08 in the digestive system material with N-gain relatively close to high, namely 0.68 while in the control class only 54.88 is sufficient category. The MANOVA test also shows that there is an effect of mind maps in PBL on the creative thinking ability of class VIII SMPN 25 Pekanbaru with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the application of mind map integration to PBL is able to improve the creative thinking skills of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru students.
The research was conducted to investigate the substitution effect of dietary salted marine by-catches and fish viscera meal mixtures for conventional fishmeal on physicochemical and sensory quality of Indonesian river catfish. Four experimental diets containing 34% crude protein and 3.20 kcal g−1 digestible energy were formulated. A control diet (FM) contains 54% fishmeal and no salted marine bycatch - fish viscera mixture (SMBFVM). In the other diets, the fishmeal was reduced and proportionally replaced with SMBFVM, 50% (SMBFVM-50), 75% (SMBFVM-75) and 100% (SMBFVM-100). A commercial diet (CD) containing 32 % crude protein and 2,94 kcal g−1 digestible energy was used as the reference. Feeding trial was performed with 1500 fish (4.79±0.38 g in weight) which was distributed in 2x2x1.5 m triplicate net cages, and the fish was fed the experimental diets at satiation twice daily at 07:00 AM and 05:00 PM for 8 weeks. There was no substitution effect of fishmeal by SMBFVM on the survival rate of the fish (P>0.05). Substitution of fishmeal by SMBFVM in the diet up to 75% (SMBFVM-75) increased weight gain, specific growth rate, food efficiency ratio, protein efficiency ratio and protein retention (p<0,05) better than control diet; and complete substitution of fishmeal with SMBFVM (SMBFVM-100) gave similar growth performance to control diet (P>0.05). Total replacement of fishmeal with SMBFVM in the diets also gave comparable body fish proximate and amino acid profile to control diet. Compared to CD, fish fed SMBFVM diets had similar growth performance, body proximate, and amino acid profile. The SMBFVM, therefore, could completely replace conventional fishmeal in the diet for Indonesian river catfish without negative effects on fish growth, body proximate, and amino acid profile.
