This study attempts an analysis of the similarities and differences of an intrinsic structure, the patterns of intrinsic structure, and their influence on the fairy tales. The research samples consisted of 12 fairy tales. The study finds that the plots consist of: a male character, who wandering in a jungle, accidentally comes across a lake where fairies are bathing. He steals a fairy's shawl and forces her to marry him. The fairy finds her shawl that is stolen and she finally goes back to heaven. The following tales are built on such structure: Arya Menak (East Java), Jaka Tarub (Central Java), Telaga Bidadari (South Kalimantan), Raja Omas danThe similarity among some fairy tales seems to have occurred because of the mutual correlation among them and the context of dissemination.
Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan sistem dan istilah kekerabatan di dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Minangkbau berdasarkan analisis konstraktif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penenltian ini adalah kulaitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Data penelitian berupa istilah-istilah kekerabatan yang terdapat di dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Minangkabau. Data tersebut bersumber dari sembilan kamus bahasa Indonesia dan kamus Minangkabau serta wawancara langsung atau tidak langsung. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa istilah kekerabatan dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Minangkabu berbeda dalam jumlah, tetapi sama dalam hal hieraki dari atas ke bawah dengan titik acuan EGO. Istilah kekerbatan dalam bahasa Indonesia ada tujuh belas, yaitu anak, cucu, cicit, piut, bapak, ibu, kakek, nenek, moyang, buyut, paman, bibi, kakak, adik, sepupu, anggas. dan kemenakan. Istilah-istilah tersebut memiliki hubungan empat tingkat di atas EGO dan lima tingkat di bawah EGO. Sementara itu, istilah kekerabatan dalam bahasa Minangkabau berjumlah delapan belas, yaitu anak, cucu, cicik, piuk, (b)apak, (a)mak, uwak/uwo, ayek/angku, niniak//inyiak, pak tuo, pak etek, mak tuo, etek (ma)mak tuo, (ma) etek, (ma)maka tunggano, uni, uda, adiak. dan kamanakan. Istilah-istilah tersebut memiliki hubungan lima tingkat di atas EGO dan empat tingkat di bawah EGO.
Penelitian ini membahas tentang leksem sikap batin “kemarahan” dalam bahasa Indonesia yang dalam definisi dan penggunaannya banyak yang bertumpang tindih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan konvigurasi dan relasi leksikal leksem sikap batin ranah kemarahan melalui analisis komponen makna sehingga ciri yang sama dan pembeda setiap leksem jelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi yang menggunakan dokumen dan penggunaan kalimat sebagai rangka uji untuk menemukan simpulan yang valid. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa konfigurasi leksikal leksem memiliki hubungan hierarki atas-bawah (marah1 dengan dongkol, jengkel, sebal, kesal, gondok dan marah 2 dengan leksem kalap, berang, gusar, bengis) dan hubungan sejajar (leksem jengkel dan mangkel). Sementara itu, relasi leksikal yang terjadi adalah relasi kehiponiman dan relasi kesinoniman. Relasi leksikal kehiponiman terjadi antara leksem marah dengan leksem marah 1, marah 2, dan jengkel serta mengkel. Leksem marah merupakan hiperonim, sedangkan marah 1, marah 2, dan jengkel serta mengkel merupakan hiponim dari leksem marah. Hubungan kehiponiman juga tampak antara marah1 dengan leksem dongkol, jengkel,sebal, kesal, dan gondok dan marah 2 dengan leksem kalap, berang, gusar, bengis. Marah 1 merupakan hiperonim dari leksem dongkol, jegkel, sebal, kesal, dan gondok dan marah 2 merupakan hiperonim dari leksem kalap, berang, bengis. Relasi leksikal kesinoniman yang terjadi bersifat sinonimi dekat, tidak sinonimi mutlak.
The Basambu Umang ritual is one of the ceremonies that the Meratus Dayak community routinely performs. In particular, this study aims at describing and analyzing hyperreality in the Basambu Umang’s ritual. The rituals and the informants consist of traditional leaders. Balians and patati have been used as data sources such as ritual events. The data related to the hyperreality in the Basambu Umang’s ritual were obtained through direct observations and in-depth interviews. The next step is data validation by triangulation of data. The data analysis steps were carried out using interactive analysis techniques, and several facts were found. The paper reported language and culture of social groups and traditions. For instance, offerings used must not be eaten prior to the event because it will cause pain in the non-medical body or if those in the hall come home before the event ends.
This study aims to determine the effect of the activity of using social media on the ability of college students to reading comprehension. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational method. The sample in this study was taken with simple random sampling. PBSI FKIP UHAMKA active students approximately 600 students who if taken a sample of 25% at random, would choose 150 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and reading tests, while data analysis using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression equations. The results of this study indicate that the intensity of the use of social media in the percentage of students is 45% moderate, 25% low, 25% high, and 7% very high, obtained the regression equation . These findings indicate that the more activity on social media, the lower the level of reading comprehension although not significantly.
