Kurzfassung Ganzheitliche Produktionssysteme (GPS) sind heutzutage Stand der Technik in produzierenden Unternehmen. Mittlerweile etabliert sich neben den Lean-Methoden auch eine GPS-gerechte Führung – das Lean Leadership. Nachhaltiger Erfolg gelingt dabei vor allem durch Führung auf Shopfloor-Ebene und unter Einbeziehung von selbstständigen, zur Problemlösung befähigten Mitarbeitern – den wichtigsten Akteuren in einem Kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozess (KVP). Shopfloor Management (SFM) wird in vielen Unternehmen als zentrale Methode Ganzheitlicher Produktionssysteme praktiziert. Die Einführung der Methode sowie ihr Nutzen sind in der Literatur an vielen Stellen beschrieben, jedoch existiert bisher keine Systematik, um die Qualität des Shopfloor Managements zu bewerten. Insbesondere während der Implementierung der Methode kann die parallele Evaluierung Schwachstellen und Entwicklungsbedarfe aufzeigen und somit die nachhaltige Verankerung unterstützen. Dieser Beitrag stellt ein neuartiges Konzept zur qualitativen Erfolgsanalyse des Shopfloor Managements vor und zeigt die erfolgreiche Anwendung des Assessments anhand eines Praxisbeispiels.
Kurzfassung Qualitätsmanagement nach ISO 9001 ist Industriestandard in produzierenden Unternehmen. Trotz auditierter Qualitätsmanagementsysteme bestehen in der betrieblichen Praxis dennoch häufig Qualitätsprobleme und mangelnde Prozessqualität. In ihrer jüngsten Revision werden jetzt die Führungskräfte mehr in die Verantwortung für die Effektivität des Qualitätsmanagements genommen. Hier stellt sich die Frage, mit welchen Methoden und Werkzeugen den Anforderungen der ISO 9001: 2015 konkret begegnet werden kann. Dieser Beitrag liefert einen Ansatz hierzu.
Kurzfassung Die Einführung Ganzheitlicher Produktionssysteme (GPS) kann nur mit einer Führungskultur nachhaltig im Unternehmen verankert werden, die die Partizipation aller Mitarbeiter an einem kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozess fordert und fördert. Dazu müssen Führungskräfte zunehmend aktiv am Ort der Wertschöpfung als Mentor und Problemlösungscoach agieren. In diesem Zusammenhang wurde der Begriff Lean Leadership geprägt. Allerdings fehlt es hier noch an konkreten Umsetzungsanweisungen, um diese Führungs- und Verbesserungskultur im Produktionsalltag zu etablieren. In verschiedenen Praxisprojekten konnte die Methode Shopfloor Management kombiniert mit durchgängigen und standardisierten Kennzahlensystemen im GPS-Regelkreismodell die Umsetzung einer partizipativen Führungskultur im Unternehmen unterstützen.
Kurzfassung Als Folge von Problemen im operativen Umfeld führen produzierende Unternehmen häufig wahllos Methoden Ganzheitlicher Produktionssysteme (GPS) ein und verfehlen dabei den systemischen Zusammenhang eines GPS. Ein GPS ist mehr als nur eine Methodensammlung und fokussiert auf eine Ziel- und Prozessorientierung im Unternehmen. Dabei besitzen GPS selbst eine generische Struktur und bieten damit ein unternehmensspezifisches Grundgerüst für die Gestaltung verschwendungsfreier Prozesse. In einer der GPS-Implementierung vorgelagerten Konzeption werden die GPS-Gestaltungsprinzipien an den Unternehmenszielen und -prozessen ausgerichtet. Die anschließende Methodenauswahl bildet die Basis für eine zielkonsistente, kontinuierliche Verbesserung. Dieser Beitrag zeigt anhand von zwei Praxisbeispielen, dass trotz gleicher Zielstellung der Unternehmen und einer vergleichbaren Methodenauswahl eine unterschiedliche Implementierungsreihenfolge erforderlich sein kann.
Kurzfassung Die Qualität von Produkten und Prozessen stellt für Unternehmen einen erheblichen Wettbewerbsfaktor dar. Fehler an Bauteilen, insbesondere wenn diese zum Kunden gelangen, können sich erheblich auf das Unternehmensergebnis auswirken. Eine Branche, in der die Qualität von besonderer Bedeutung ist, ist die Luftfahrtzulieferindustrie. Diese erfährt derzeit eine Umstrukturierung, indem zunehmend Verantwortung für die Entwicklung und Produktion von Komponenten auf die Zulieferer übertragen wird. Um der daraus abgeleiteten Qualitätsverantwortung gerecht zu werden, ist der Umgang mit Fehlern im Rahmen des Fehlermanagements zu schärfen. Dieser Beitrag stellt einen Lösungsansatz für die Gestaltung des Fehlermanagementprozesses unter Anwendung der Prinzipien und Methoden von Ganzheitlichen Produktionssystemen (GPS) vor. Ziel des Ansatzes ist es, Fehler durch die Anwendung geeigneter Methoden zu identifizieren, effektiv und effizient zu beheben sowie ein Wiederauftreten nachhaltig zu vermeiden, um so die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu erhalten.
