Bei Behandlung mit Hydrazinhydrat erscheint das Hamochromogenspektrnm nicht sofort, aber die oliv-braune Liisung wird irn Lanfe von 2-3 Minuten rein rot und das Hamochromogenspektrum ist gut erkennbar. End-Abs. 500. Beide Streifen sind verwaschen. I. 576,O; TI. 531,O. Reihenfolge der Intensitat: I, 11. Streifen 11 verschwindet fast vollkommen bei starker Verdunnung. Kupfersnlz. 10 mg des bromierten Rhodins werden in sehr wenig siedendem Chloroform geliist und d a m eine warme Liisung von Kupferacetat in Eisessig gegehen. Beim Stehenlassen krystallisiert bald das Knpferkomplexsalz in prlchtigen rot-braunen Stabchen aus. Loslich in Chloroform und Pyridin. Ausbeute fast yuantitativ. Die Analysen stimmen nicht so gut wie beim Eisensalz. 4,295 mg Subst.: 9,355 mg CO,, 1,850 mg H,O. -4,340 mg Subst.: 0,500 me; CuO. Chlorin e-trimethylester und freies Chlorin e verhalten sich beim vergleichenden Abbau mit Jodwasserstoffsaure verschieden insofern, als aus ersterem Chloroporphyrin e, (Monoester) erhalten wird, wahrend letzteres Chloroporphyrin e5 gibt. F i s c h e r , H e c k m a i e r und Plb'tz, Chloroporphyrine, und wir haben festgestellt, daJ3 dieser Ubergang bereits durch Jod inEisessig innerhalb kurzerzeit durchfuhrbar ist. Damit konnte das Entstehen von Chloroporphyrin e5 aus freiem Chlorin e auch als eine Sekundar-Reaktion aufgefaljt werden, denn Chloroporphyrin e, ist nur als Triester bestandig, wahrend das m s freiem Chlorin e gegebenenfalls zu erwartende freie Chloroporphyrin e6 auljerordentlicli leicht sich decarboxylieren wurde zu Chloroporphyrin e4, das unter den Reaktionsbedingungen dann insbesondere bei Gegenwart von Luft in e5 iibergehen miibte. Wir haben deshalb freies Chlorin e unter erheblicher Herabsetzung der Jodwasserstoffmenge im Stickstoffstrom reduziert und sofort mit Na-acetat die Jodwasserstoffsaure abgestumpft, urn sekundare Jodabscheidung zu vermeiden. Unter diesen Bedingnngen entsteht in der Tat Chloroporphyrin e, in guter Ausbeute. In Form seines Tri-esters konnte dieses eindeutig identifiziert werden. An den Schlubfolgerungen fur die Konstitution von Chlorin el) andert sich durch diese Peststellungen nichts. I)a Chlorin e isomer ist mit Chloroporphyrin e,, muB ihm Pormel I zukommen, wobei mir anderweitige Isomerisationen natiirlich nicht ausschlieben. Das Wesentliche ist die Doppelbindung am y-C-Atom und das Vorhandensein eines Isoporphinringes. I I I CO,CH, COsCH* Uas freie Chlorin e wird dann durch die entsprechende Formel mit drei freien Carboxylgruppen ausgedriickt. Vor kurzem haben wir fur Phaoporphyrin a8 folgende Konstitutionsformel aufgestellt welche an C,, einen Athoxylrest und eine Carbmethoxy-Gruppe, an C, den Rest des Propionsaureathylesters enthalt. Es entstand bei der Eisessig-Jodwasserstoff-Reduktion des in Athylalkohol gelosten, mit Chinon dehydrierten Athylchlorophyllids, wahrend Chlorophyllid selbst lediglich Phacporphyrin a6 (wie Formel I, statt OC,H6 an C,,:H) ergibt. Wir haben zunachst das Dehydrierungsmittel variiert durch Anwendung von Jod, wobei ebenfalls I resultierte, allerdings in bedeutend geringerer Ausbeute. Ein wichtiges Ausgangsmaterial fur Porphyrinsynthesen ist die 2,4-Dimethyl-5-carbathoxypyrrol-3-propionsaure, die bei der Bromierung in den reaktionsfahigen a-Brommethylkijrper ubergeht. Hierbei wurde schon vor einigen Jahren I) ein bei 275 O schmelzendes halogenfreies Nebenprodukt beobachtet, dessen Konstitutionsaufklarung neuerdings gelungen ist. Wegen der Schwerloslichkeit war eine Molekulargewichtsbestimmung nicht moglich, dagegen stellten wir fest, daB es sich urn eine Estersaure handelt und erbrachten den Beweis hierfur durch Gewinnung eines schon krystallisierten Okta-athylesters, dessen Nolekulargewichtsbestimmung auf 1000 stimmte. Die Analyse ergab dieBruttoforme1 C6,H,,0,,N,; es lag also ein Okta-athylester der Konstitution I vor, wie durch weitere Umsetzungen exakt bewiesen werden konnte :
