The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of financial literacy in the development of the insurance awareness. In this context, in university education, the differences are considered in insurance perspective that students get financial education and the students that do not get financial education. For this scope, we examine the relationship between financial literacy and insurance awareness over 400 university students from different academic background. The results show that there is statistically significant differences between insurance awareness of students who took finance courses and non-finance course.
This study aims to examine the effects of organizational performance on the relationship between perceived organizational support (POS) and career satisfaction (CSAT) of employees. Our research question facilitates to understand how the interaction between POS and CSAT changes in the process of adaptation to environmental pressures. In order to find answers to our research question we carried out quantitative research and applied questionnaire as our method of data collection. Research sample is constituted with 10 insurance companies and 194 employees working in these companies. At the end of the study, our findings support that perceived organizational support effects career satisfaction more in high performance organizations, compared to low performance organizations.
Social capital as a field of study has grown with many contributions from different fields. Yet, the gap within the literature regarding different contexts has inspired researchers to look for further explanations about social capital and its dimensions. Therefore, this paper aims to provide insight into the impact of social capital as a specific factor to develop commercial banks' operational performance in Erbil City, Iraq. To achieve this, a quantitative research is carried out, findings pointing to positive significant relationships between the dimensions of social capital as relational, structural and cognitive capital and operational performance development. Additionally, according to results, social capital plays a vital role in commercial banks' stability and development of operational performance.
