The area of Paledah Village, Padaherang District, Pangandaran Regency is very potential to be developed. This village has interesting natural characteristics, unique social and cultural life. This potential must be encouraged and developed in accordance with the socio-cultural characteristics of the community. The development of community-based tourism is a strategic effort to build the community. Rural tourism development is a long-term and potential investment for the government because human resources and natural resources are available. The purpose of this study was to find out the development of tourism villages based on local wisdom, especially related to the concept of criteria for tourism villages in Paledah village. This study uses a qualitative approach. The process of collecting data used were interviews, observation, Forum Group Discussion (FGD), and literature review. The data analysis technique in this study was descriptive with the stages of data reduction and presentation as well as composing the conclusions. Validity and reliability tests were carried out through a triangulation process. The informants in this study were the government, tourism village communities, and tourism developers which totally 9 (nine) people. The results of the study indicate that the values of local wisdom in the development of agro tourism villages in Pangandaran Regency are contained in organizational principles. There are three main principles of organization, namely voluntary and opened-membership, democracy-based management, and independence. Village tourism criteria include attraction, accessibility, public facilities and tourist facilities, community empowerment, and marketing or promotion. Based of the five criteria for tourism villages in Paledah village, only two that have been running optimally, namely tourist attraction and community empowerment, while the other three criteria still have problems.
This activity examines the role of the Community Library (TBM) For Early Childhood In the village Narawita Cicalengka District of Bandung regency. Method or Participatory Rural Appraisal Techniques and data collection through interviews, observation, focus group discussions, and literature study aims to determine the role of these activities bancaan community garden teutama on the tasks and functions of public reading in improving learning skills in early childhood. The results show that the public reading in a village environment Narawita serve as a source of learning early age children, resources for parents in fostering early childhood-education and recreational facilities for the community. Thus the public reading can serve as a learning tool for both kids an early age and the parents' children-especially young housewife in expanding their knowledge.
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan desa wisata pendidikan berdasarkan pada potensi produk wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, F G D, dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data deskriptif dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji Validitas dan reliabilitas melalui proses triangulasi sumber. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pihak pemerintah (3 orang), tokoh masyarakat dan agana (5 orang), dan pengelola desa wisata (5 orang). Jumlah responden 13 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjkkan bahwa model pengembangan desa wisata pendidikan di Desa Cibodas memiliki enam strategi yaitu (a) peningkatan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengembangan desa wisata (b) pengembangan desa wisata yang khas berdasarkan kepada potensi alam, sosial, dan budaya masyarakat setempat; (c) pengembagan kapasitas lembaga masyarakat sebagai lembaga pengelola desa wisata (d) pengembangan media promosi wisata; (e) peningkatan sumberdaya manusia melalui program pendidikan dan pelatihan yang terstruktur dan terorganisasi; (f) pendampingan yang dilakukan secara terstruktur dari lembaga/ dinas terkait.
-This study aims to determine the level of community reading culture in Bandung Regency West Java Province. By using the sequential exploratory methodand datacollecting through observation, interviews, focus group discussions and questionnaire, the results of the study showed that the level of community reading culture is quite high. It is seen from the results of readingcultureindicator measurement which consist of 1) Availability of facilities which is measured from the availability of school libraries and the availability of public libraries -including the village library andbook corner. 2) Utilization of resources reading measured from the average of holdings of library materials (number and type), reading materialswhich are read, the average visit to the communitylibrary, the collection usage rate, library memberships. and 3) The communityreadinghabit measured from the average duration of reading (per-times reading), the average read frequency (in weeks), and the purpose of reading. Nowadays the concept of literacy is no longer associated only with information and media, but has been touched to the certain aspects of human life are more specific. In the context of the use of information and communication technology, for example, literacy is attached to the ability of people to use computer equipment both in terms of hardware and software. Now, literacy has touched a lot of aspects of human life. This study examines the literacy attached to a lifelong learning process. By using qualitative methods which are equipped with observation and interviews with 15 informants from among the rural youth in Southern West Java, a picture that, literacy is not a characteristic of humans from birth, but rather is a capability that can be learned, both within the school and out of school. Literacy even attached to a person's ability to interact with people and their environment, with culture, with business, with politics, with life, and with their livelihood.
