The area of Paledah Village, Padaherang District, Pangandaran Regency is very potential to be developed. This village has interesting natural characteristics, unique social and cultural life. This potential must be encouraged and developed in accordance with the socio-cultural characteristics of the community. The development of community-based tourism is a strategic effort to build the community. Rural tourism development is a long-term and potential investment for the government because human resources and natural resources are available. The purpose of this study was to find out the development of tourism villages based on local wisdom, especially related to the concept of criteria for tourism villages in Paledah village. This study uses a qualitative approach. The process of collecting data used were interviews, observation, Forum Group Discussion (FGD), and literature review. The data analysis technique in this study was descriptive with the stages of data reduction and presentation as well as composing the conclusions. Validity and reliability tests were carried out through a triangulation process. The informants in this study were the government, tourism village communities, and tourism developers which totally 9 (nine) people. The results of the study indicate that the values of local wisdom in the development of agro tourism villages in Pangandaran Regency are contained in organizational principles. There are three main principles of organization, namely voluntary and opened-membership, democracy-based management, and independence. Village tourism criteria include attraction, accessibility, public facilities and tourist facilities, community empowerment, and marketing or promotion. Based of the five criteria for tourism villages in Paledah village, only two that have been running optimally, namely tourist attraction and community empowerment, while the other three criteria still have problems.
Nowadays the concept of literacy is no longer associated only with information and media, but has been touched to the certain aspects of human life are more specific. In the context of the use of information and communication technology, for example, literacy is attached to the ability of people to use computer equipment both in terms of hardware and software. Now, literacy has touched a lot of aspects of human life. This study examines the literacy attached to a lifelong learning process. By using qualitative methods which are equipped with observation and interviews with 15 informants from among the rural youth in Southern West Java, a picture that, literacy is not a characteristic of humans from birth, but rather is a capability that can be learned, both within the school and out of school. Literacy even attached to a person's ability to interact with people and their environment, with culture, with business, with politics, with life, and with their livelihood.
This study aims to examine more deeply about the use of the internet for entrepreneurial purposes or livelihoods among rural youth. The method used is observation and in-depth interviews with 20 business informants in this internet sector. The results of the study illustrate that (a) viewed from the aspect of knowledge, business people understand correctly that the internet is the main media used to find information and sources of livelihood information; (b) viewed from the aspect of motivation, they are encouraged to use the internet for entrepreneurship because it is very easy to learn; (c) judging from the aspects of behavior and experience, business people in this sector feel very disturbed when there are a network disorder. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai pemanfaatan internet untuk tujuan wirausaha atau penghidupan di kalangan pemuda pedesaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 20 orang informan pelaku usaha di sektor internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) dilihat dari aspek pengetahuan, para pelaku usaha memahami benar bahwa internet menjadi media utama yang digunakan untuk mencari informasi dan sumber informasi penghidupan; (b) dilihat dari aspek motivasi, mereka terdorong menggunakan internet untuk berwirausaha karena sangat mudah dipelajari; (c) dilihat dari aspek perilaku dan pengalaman, para pelaku usaha di sektor ini, merasa amat terganggu manakala terjadi gangguan listrik dan jaringan internet.
ABSTRACT-This research is aimed to know the knowledge level of the society around Bosscha Observatory in Lembang about light pollution. The research was conducted using a survey method to 98 respondents in Lembang Village, Lembang District, West Bandung District. Based on the results of the research, it is revealed that the knowledge level of the society around Bosscha Observatory Lembang about light pollution is categorized as high. It is based on the research on four dimensions of knowledge with high results for factual, conceptual, and procedural knowledge, thus indicating that the public knows well the term, indicators, causes, disorder, harmful nature, the countermeasure solution, the countermeasure techniques, and the criteria of when to apply the procedure of light pollution countermeasure. Then, the next is medium results for metacognition knowledge indicating that the public knows enough information resources, the importance of countermeasures, and the awareness of the knowledge about light pollution. Therefore the society is expected to be wiser in using artificial light and contribute to reducing light pollution. Keywords
ABSTRAKPengembangan agro desa wisata yang sedang dikembangkan di Desa Paledah, Padaherang kecamatan, Kabupaten Pangandaran, berusaha untuk memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia. Untuk itu diperlukan strategi komunikasi yang tepat dalam membangun sinergi dari pihak-pihak yang terkait untuk dapat direalisasikan dengan baik. Penelitian ini mengkaji Strategi Komunikasi dalam pengembangan agro desa wisata di Kabupaten Pangandaran bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) hak komunikator; 2) perencanaan pesan dan 3) media komunikasi yang digunakan; dan 4) analisis khalayak sasaran. Dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif (studi kasus) dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, Diskusi Kelompok, dan studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitiannya adalah hak komunikator adalah seorang tokoh masyarakat yang didukung oleh aparatur pemerintah melalui pembangunan yang berkelanjutan sesuai dengan keahliannya masing-masing. Pesan perencanaan dilakukan melalui transfer ide-ide dalam kemasan informasi yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai luhur yang ada di masyarakat, misalnya melalui pembacaan bahan-bahan, undangan untuk menanam tanaman yang memiliki nilai ekonomi di halaman. Sedangkan media komunikasi yang digunakan adalah proposal kegiatan, spanduk dan poster yang dipasang di tempat-tempat strategis dan dapat disampaikan kepada pihak-pihak yang memiliki visi dan misi yang sama. For that needed appropriate communication strategy in establishing synergy of related parties to be realized well. This study examines the Communication Strategy in the development of agro tourism village in Pangandaran Regency aims to know: 1) the right communicator; 2) message planning and 3) communication media used; and 4) analysis of target audiences. Conducted by qualitative methods (case study) and data collection techniques through interviews, field observation, Focus Group Discussion, and literature study. The result of his research is the right communicator is a community leader who is supported by the government apparatus through continuous development in accordance with their respective expertise. Message planning is done through the transfer of ideas in the packaging of information that is integrated with the noble values that exist in the community, for example through recitation materials, invitations to plant crops that have economic value in the yard. While the communication media used is a proposal of activities, banners and posters installed in strategic places and can be submitted to parties who have the same vision and mission.
