Reaktionen von V(NCS)3 bzw. V(NCS)3(THF)3 führen je nach Versuchsbedingungen mit Pyridin‐N‐oxid zu Oxovanadin(IV)‐Komplexen des Typs VO(NCS)2 · 4C5H5NO bzw. VO(NCS)2 · 5 C5H5NO und mit 4‐Picolin‐N‐oxid zu VO(NCS)2 · (4‐CH3C5H4NO)2. Die dargestellten Verbindungen werden durch ihr Absorptionsverhalten im sichtbaren und UV‐Bereich, durch IR‐Absorptionsspektren sowie magnetische Messungen charakterisiert. Der Reaktionsverlauf wird diskutiert.
Die Entstehung der Oxothiocyanato‐N‐wolframate(V) in wäßrigen Alkalithiocyanatlösungen wird unter Verwendung verschiedener Ausgangsstoffe, wie Alkaliwolframate, WCl6, WBr6, WOCl4, WO2Cl2, WCl5, WBr5, (NH4)2[WOCl5] und (NH4)3[WO2(C2O4)2] in Abhängigkeit von der Konzentration und der Acidität untersucht. Der Reaktionsverlauf führt bei Alkaliwolframaten über kondensierte Oxoanionen und Oxothiocyanato‐N‐wolframate(VI) zu Oxothiocyanatowolframaten(V). Das polarographische Verhalten der Oxothiocyanato‐N‐wolframate(VI) und der Oxothiocyanato‐N‐wolframate(V) wird mitgeteilt und die Darstellung von Salzen der Zusammensetzung M 2I[WO(NCS)5] beschrieben.
