Bags for students, especially for preschool-aged children have an important role as learning media in education. A! ractive and innovative bag designs are highly required to make them acceptable and favourable for children. This research uses a quantitative method. Design and development of educational bags for preschool-aged children were conducted through early stages of reserach (mind mapping) and concept development (determining identifi cation needs). The concept of development process began with the dissemination of 30 questionnaires to preschool-aged children to identify the consumers' need for the bags. From the development process, there were three primary needs and 14 target specifi cations which were then linked to 8 matrices in the chart of matrix need. The results of the research in educational bag designs for preschool-aged children is implemented based on matrix need.
Model Economic Production Quality (EPQ) mengarahkan perusahaan agar dapat meminimalkan total biaya produksi dengan mereduksi biaya inventori. Parameter model dasar EPQ adalah demand, biaya setup mesin dan biaya simpan persediaan. Namun dalam kenyataanya perusahaan tidak hanya memiliki demand yang bersifat kontinu, namun sering kali terjadi demand diskrit yang pemenuhannya dilakukan dalam suatu rentang waktu tertentu. Begitu pula halnya dengan UD. Sanda sebagai produsen kerupuk ikan khas Kalimantan Timur, dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan konsumen terdiri dari 2 tipe demand. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Dari peninjauan jumlah permintaan dan perhitungan terhadap tingkat persediaan, diperoleh waktu siklus pengiriman optimal adalah 2 kali dan biaya rata-rata satu periode adalah Rp. 3.336.750,- serta biaya total sebesar Rp. 6.673.500
Lempok durian adalah makanan sejenis dodol dengan bahan utama dari buah durian yang merupakan makanan olahan tradisional andalan masyarakat kota Samarinda. Pembuatan lempok ini dilakukan secara turun temurun oleh masyarakat dengan teknologi sederhana. Dari observasi di areal kerja, proses produksi lempok masih kurang dari standar ergonomi dilihat dari sudut lingkungan fisik kerja seperti tingkat pencahayaan dan tingkat kebisingannya serta layout ruangnya. Permasalahan lainnya adalah belum adanya standar waktu baku bagi seorang pekerja untuk memproduksi lempok durian. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk merancang areal kerja yang ergonomis dengan mengukur tingkat kebisingan, intensitas pencahayaan dan merancang layout ruangan yang ergonomis serta mengukurwaktu baku dalam proses produksi pembuatan lempok durian. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis lingkungan fisk kerja, analisis layout ruangan dan pengukuran serta perhitungan waktu baku. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil tingkat pencahayaan 90 – 110 lux dan tingkat kebisingan 55 – 66 db serta usulan perubahan layout ruangan. Sedangkan untuk waktu baku dari hasil pengukuran dan perhitungan adalah 62 menit.
Youtube adalah aplikasi media sosial yang memungkinkan penggunanya berbagi konten video. Video yang di share pun banyak ragamnya, mulai komedi, horor, adventure, dan lain – lainnya. Belakangan ini ada genre video yang menjadi trend kalangan anak muda nasional maupun internasional yaitu vlog atau biasa disebut video blog. Video blog sendiri merupakan video berdurasi pendek yang menceritakan kisah atau kehidupan seseorang atau kegiatan sekelompok orang. Youtuber adalah sebutan untuk sebagian dan sekelompok orang yang menggunakan aplikasi youtube untuk menciptakan konten – konten video bermacam genre.Dari genre yang di usung para youtuber ada sebagian genre yang harus memaksa pencipta konten video tersebut atau creator ikut andil dalam pengambilan konsep yang ada serta dapat membuat video yang mampu menarik minat penonton dan subscriber youtube dengan meciptakan bermacam – macam konten video yang berbeda. Masalah yang sering terjadi di kalangan youtuber ketika mereka akan mengambil konsep video yang memungkinkan mereka harus berpindah lokasi dan tempat dengan membawa peralatan mereka yang tidak sedikit sehingga mempersulit akomodasi kalangan youtuber itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sarana yang dapat membawa perlengkapan youtuber dalam satu tempat sehingga tidak mempersulit kebutuhan akomodasi youtuber. Terdapat kantong – kantong dan slot yang memadai untuk memuat peralatan standar youtuber seperti kamera, laptop, tripod, monopod beserta aksesoris dan ekstensi lainnya. Diharapakan sarana ini dapat menunjang kebutuhan aktivitas youtuber.
Amplang crackers production in home industry activities carried out with a variety of different body positions while working. From the results of previous studies it was found that the ergonomic position in producing Amplang crackers is the position of standing workers. The problem faced in this research is how to design an ergonomic workers workstation for the standing worker’s position. The results of this study are the design of workstations in the form of tables, chairs and stoves. The table design results in this research have two functions for the work of making the dough and the process of twisting and cutting Amplang. The length of the table is 1000 mm and the height is 1000 mm. The table is 600 mm wide and has a footrest slope of 20 degree. The seat size has a height of 700 mm and the seat width is 400 mm. For the design of the stove has a height of 800 mm and a width of 500 mm, for footrest with a length of 300 mm with a slope of 20 degree. The anthropometry used is Asian women 50 percentile and 95 percentile.
The government of Indonesia has a regulation called local content to push the manufacturing industries in order to increase their competitiveness. In order to reach that goal, technology transfer has been done, but it is a long way to go and impractical. So, one way to go is by the understanding of the product that has to be made. Reverse engineering is a specific technique to use because of its practicality. As the name implied, reverse engineering is the inverse of engineering design because the starting point is the product itself instead of the idea. In this paper, the product used as a case is the body of the fire-safe valve. The final goal of the reverse of the body part of the valve is the idea behind it or called the design intent. However, it is going to be a long process, and as the first step that will be presented in this paper, the goal is to get its CAD model of the fire-safe valve body.
University with all its capabilities must synergize with industry and government, so as to be able to produce new innovations, and create development strategies that are guided by tertiary institutions to respond to development challenges in various fields. Development The application of the Penta Helix model in education, especially vocational education, has not been studied much. The vocational field, especially those related to the creative economy, which is a priority for vocational education in Indonesia, needs to be studied more deeply. Therefore, this research will study the Penta Helix model in the Product Design Department of Samarinda State Polytechnic as vocational education in the creative economy field. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the Penta Helix innovation model is applied in the Product Design Study Program. especially in synergy with industry, government, mass media, and society in the creative economy of product design. This research method is to use the snowball technique, this technique is a multilevel technique, based on the snowball analogy. The results of the study found that the Penta Helix concept, especially in the field of vocational education, can be applied through the empowerment of the three main elements of the helix, namely academia, government and industry. The support of the mass media and the public is very important to strengthen the concept of Penta Helix synergy to improve the creative economy.
Lesson Learned from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Reactor Accident to Increase RSG-GAS Mitigation] Indonesia with a geographic area that is relatively the same as Japan and is strongly influenced by the movement of tectonic plate causing Indonesia to be prone of tectonic earthquakes, especially Serpong City of South Tangerang, the location of the Reaktor Serba Guna -G.A. Siwalessy (RSG-GAS) was recorded in a Catalog of Significant and Destructive Earthquake in year 1821-2018, as a risky area of the earthquake. Based on this fact, this study identified and analyzed mitigation efforts carried out to reduce the risk of disaster threats due to technology failure in RSG-GAS. The research method used was qualitatively with descriptive exploratory research design, explores new phenomena and describes according to direct observation of primary data obtained through interviews with resource persons, and secondary data through document studies belonging to resource persons and literature studies. Data validation was carried out with triangulation techniques by conducting data investigations from various sources in the analysis in accordance with the research framework. Mitigation actions have been carried out before the design was arranged, precisely on the determination of prospective reactor site until the current stage of reactor operation. Reactor site evaluation is carried out on aspects of external events (earthquake, geotechnics, meteorology, hydrology, human induce, and dispersion of radioactive substances). The updating of reactor site evaluation form external events is a consideration in RSG-GAS design mitigation, including the simulation the station blackout that has been carried out in the RSG-GAS, to find out the capacity and vulnerability of the RSG-GAS against external hazards that occurred such as in Fukushima Daiichi. External hazards such as earthquake and other hazards has also been promulgated in Indonesian Regulation of Nuclear Reactor Design. To strengthen the capacity of the government and stakeholders it is necessary to revise the Government Regulation to regulate its responsibilities and authority in nuclear emergencies to ensure the safety of the community to create national security. .
