Les initiatives relevant de la construction de systèmes agroalimentaires alternatifs se multiplient. Parmi ces initiatives émergent de nouvelles modalités qui visent à rendre plus accessibles ces alternatives, y compris au niveau des acteurs de l"aide alimentaire. Le programme Uniterres mis en place au sein de l"ANDES, une des structures nationales qui regroupent les épiceries sociales et solidaires, et un des opérateurs du dispositif d"aide alimentaire français, a pour objectif d"améliorer la qualité nutritionnelle des produits proposés aux bénéficiaires des épiceries sociales. Pour cela, l"ANDES achète une partie de la production de maraîchers en situation de fragilité dans le but de soutenir un modèle d"agriculture paysanne.Dans cette communication nous interrogeons ce modèle au regard du concept de démocratie alimentaire en montrant ses leviers et ses limites.
Le renouveau des circuits courts alimentaires en France croise la problématique de l’innovation sociale à travers l’émergence d’initiatives visant à faciliter l’accès des consommateurs précaires à une alimentation de qualité. Cet article montre l’intérêt d’analyser ces initiatives pour comprendre les mécanismes de construction de l’innovation sociale et explorer les conditions de son changement d’échelle. L’approche repose sur un croisement entre sociologie économique et approche par le care , permettant d’intégrer les personnes et le contexte socio-politique dans l’analyse des dynamiques relationnelles qui construisent l’innovation. Basés sur deux études de cas, les résultats montrent en quoi l’innovation sociale se développe à travers de nouveaux types de liens et de ressources valorisant l’expérience de la vie quotidienne. Ils invitent à penser que sa portée transformatrice tient à la fois aux produits découplés de ces liens et à l’évolution des statuts des personnes. Il est nécessaire de considérer les conditions de l’accès à l’alimentation et d’adopter une approche globale des enjeux reposant sur le système alimentaire dans son ensemble. Envisager l’accès à l’alimentation à partir de l’éthique du care est la voie que nous explorons dans cet article pour répondre à cet enjeu. En mettant au cœur de l’analyse la vulnérabilité et l’interdépendance des êtres humains, l’éthique du care permet d’envisager les questions alimentaires dans l’ensemble de leurs dimensions sociales et de donner une pleine place à la voix et à l’analyse des personnes en situation de précarité. Nous proposons, à partir de deux approches différentes, celle des droits de l’homme et celle de la démocratie alimentaire, de voir comment pourrait se construire un droit à l’alimentation.
Cet article décrit la conception et la mise en oeuvre d'un dispositif expérimental visant à approvisionner en fruits et légumes frais régionaux les Restos du Coeur de l'Hérault. Il relate le processus qui a conduit différents acteurs, y compris la co-auteure de l'article, à s'engager dans ce projet et montre que le dispositif de mise en marché retenu est un résultat de leurs attentes et contraintes respectives. Les auteurs montrent ensuite que le circuit court établi est caractérisé par des modifications partielles du travail des Restos du Coeur et par une importante activité de régulation des intermédiaires commerciaux. L'expérimentation donne au final à voir une hybridation entre des régulations innovantes, visant à relocaliser les flux de denrées alimentaires, et des régulations préexistantes, marquées par l'intermédiation commerciale, l'homogénéité des produits et la recherche de prix bas.Mots-clés : aide alimentaire, circuits courts, marché, systèmes alimentaires localisés Languedoc-Roussillon (France)
