AbstractThe literature shows that parental divorce can severely damage the family system, because is associated with a worse family support and parental cooperation. Likewise, we studied these variables in families that have been experienced couple breakup and were compared to those who didn´t. It was apply the PAFAS of Sanders, Morawska, Haslam Filus and Fletcher (2013) to 80 parents, with at least one child between 2 and 12 years old. Of these, 50% have experienced couple rupture or divorce. The results indicate that the participants with parental rupture perceived less and worse family support than the other type of family also the coworking between the parents. Keywords: [PAFAS, IPS-S, coparenting, family climate, couple breakup].
