This study analyses the implications of Destination Management Organization (DMO) – Destination Governance (DG) on sustainable tourism development in Indonesia. Desk study is carried out using secondary data and VRIO analysis was employed. We found that the success of DMO development cannot be separated from the transformation of DMO development which includes the stage of strengthening the collective awareness movement of stakeholders; the destination management development stage; the business development stage; and the stage of strengthening and structuring the destination management organization. The development of DMOs in various countries is carried out on a regional and national scale by developing tourism boards that aim to develop tourism, technology and information as well as the promotion of tourist destinations. The implications of competitiveness through capability resources in DMO-DG, obtained 4 (four) Sustained Competitive Advantages, including tourism ecosystem, quality of service and travel experience, human resource development, and community management.
Currently, a revenge travel phenomenon emerged following the reopening of tourism amid the Covid-19 pandemic is still not subsided. This phenomenon raises questions about its impact on the concept of quality tourism that promotes sustainable tourism development and that revives during the Covid-19 pandemic. This issue is crucial to be anticipated by policymakers, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia, to prevent various impacts detrimental to the natural, social and cultural environment, which have ensued in many tourism destinations before the Covid-19 pandemic. Hence, the study aims to offer ideas to policy makers on establishing quality tourism in the post Covid-19 pandemic. Based on a qualitative approach, the methodology used is integrative review through literature studies. The result shows that the government can effectuate several alternative policies to modify revenge travel to become quality tourism. Such policies will be essential for developing a carrying capacity policy in a tourism destination. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic can provide an understanding for the government to comprehensively evaluate their perspective on tourism as a means of development, including reviewing the concept of sustainable growth in tourism development.
This study aims to describe the following things. First, the values of Islamic morality expressed in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Second, the motives of the characters in having Islamic morality in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Third, the impact of having Islamic character on the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data used in this study are words, groups of words, and sentences that contain Islamic moral values. This research is sourced from the novel Father by Andrea Hirata. The instrumentation in this study is the researcher as the main instrument. Then, data collection is done using observation techniques. The results of the research in the novel Andrea Hirata's Father are as follows. First, there are 61 data on Islamic moral values in Andrea Hirata's father's novel, which is divided into two, namely 43 praiseworthy moral data and 18 sad moral data. Second, there are the motives of the characters to have Islamic morals consisting of two, namely internal motives and external motives. Third, the impact of having commendable and despicable morals for the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel is also divided into two, namely positive and negative impacts. Latar Belakang: Saat ini hampir seluruh negara di dunia telah terjangkit virus corona (COVID-19). Guru dan murid dipaksakan untuk tetap belajar dan bekerja dari rumah, serta dipaksa untuk mengenal dan menerapkan metode pembelajaran baru yaitu dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran dalam jaringan. Kegiatan pembelajaran dalam jaringan ini membutuhkan peran aktif orang tua untuk mendampingi kegiatan belajar anak di rumah. Tujuan: Peran orang tua dalam pendampingan kegiatan belajar anak pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode: Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara terhadap Kepala Sekolah, dewan guru dan orang tua siswa PAUD Az Zahra, baik melalui virtual maupun melalui tatap muka dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang ketat. Hasil: Menyoroti bagaimana peranan orang tua dan apa saja kendala yang dihadapi orang tua dalam membantu kegiatan belajar anak serta solusi yang dapat diambil untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Kesimpulan: Peningkatan kesadaran orang tua terhadap peran mereka dalam mendampingi kegiatan belajar anak di rumah selama masa pandemi menjadikan kemampuan belajar dan aspek perkembangan anak semakin meningkat.
