The research aimed to analyze the effect of katuk leaf biscuit consumption toward increasing breastmilk volume on the 10th day. The research subjects are postpartum mother and baby on the first day at the health center of Bandung city. The research was RCT post-test only control group design with a double-blind approach with sample consisted of n1=n2=50 respondents. First treatment group were given the katuk leaf biscuit and the control group were biscuit not katuk leaf, for 9th days. Data were collected and analyzed by the Mann Whitney test. The result of the research shown the significant effect of katuk leaf biscuits towards increasing breastmilk volume on the 10th day of postpartum with a high percentage of 79,6%. The result from counting Number Needed to Treat (NNT) breastmilk volume gained NNT =3. The increased of breastmilk volume caused by katuk leaf were contained fitosterol and papaverin that can increase the prolactin and oxytocin hormone. It is also containing nutrition as the material for breastmilk production. The conclusion of the research there was a significant effect of katuk leaf biscuit consumption towards increasing breastmilk production volume. So that the biscuit can be used as a supplement to increase the breastmilk volume.
Pendahuluan: Anemia dan banyak masalah serius lainnya dapat diakibatkan oleh kekurangan zat besi, zat gizi mikro yang mutlak diperlukan untuk kesehatan manusia. Anemia defisiensi besi (IDA), yang mempengaruhi jutaan orang di seluruh dunia, terutama ibu hamil, disebabkan oleh asupan zat besi yang tidak memadai atau malabsorpsi. Wanita hamil dianggap sebagai kelompok yang paling berisiko untuk IDA karena peningkatan kebutuhan zat besi yang mereka alami selama kehamilan. Health Organization (WHO) memperkirakan 38% ibu hamil mengalami anemi. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jenis penelitian observasional analitik atau survei analitik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian cross sectional. Jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria adalah 93 ibu hamil Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia kehamilan dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil p-value = 0,001 (<0,05), ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil p-value = 0,004 (< 0,05 dan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil p-value = 0,018) (< 0,05). Kesimpulan: Sebagai upaya preventif terhadap anemia pada kehamilan, ibu hamil perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang usia saat kehamilan, pengetahuan tentang anemia, dan meningkatkan status gizi pada ibu hamil.
Low back pain is common in pregnancy with varying reported incidences. Low back pain is back pain that occurs in the lumbosacral region. In general, back pain that occurs in pregnant women is influenced by several factors, namely changes in body posture during pregnancy, low back pain usually increases with parity. The risk of back pain in pregnancy is increased in women who have previously had back pain and are overweight. National guidelines recommend that healthy pregnant women should do light physical exercise every day. Most women reduce physical activity during pregnancy and only a few studies have found that pregnant women are physically active during pregnancy.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Pregnancy Exercises on Back Pain in Pregnant Women. The method in this study is a literature review, which tries to explore how the effect. The results in this study indicate that the results of 8 previous studies indicate that there is a significant effect of Pregnancy Exercises on Back Pain in Pregnant Women. The conclusion in this study is that of Pregnancy Exercises can reduce Back Pain in Pregnant Women. Pregnancy exercise or exercise can provide benefits to maintain and improve the physical health of pregnant women, improve blood circulation, reduce complaints of cramps or aches, and prepare for breathing, muscle and pelvic activity to face the labor process. Pregnancy exercise has very important benefits for pregnant women.
Introduction: Anemia in pregnant women is one of the causes of antenatal bleeding and the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Sengkol Health Center in 2020 was 23.79%, and increased to 25.88% in 20121, so that it ranks highest for cases of anemia in pregnant women. To determine the effect of providing health education about iron tablets (TTD) for pregnant women on the adherence of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets at Public health center Sengkol. Methods: Pre-experimental research with The One Group Pretest Posttest design. The research sample was pregnant women who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria as many as 30 people with a purposive sampling technique. The intervention was carried out, namely providing counseling in the class of pregnant women at the 3rd meeting for 20 minutes. Data analysis using paired sample test Results: Respondents' characteristics based on the level of adherence before health education, namely low by 24 people (80.0%), after health education the level of adherence was high by 27 people (90.0%). Statistical test results using paired samples test obtained p = 0.000. Conclusion: Health education about iron tablets (TTD) in the class of pregnant women affects the compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets at Public health center Sengkol.
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of husband's support to anemia status in pregnancy at Sengkol Health Center, Central Lombok Regency. This research method is a cross sectional observational study. It was conducted in March-April 2018 with an anemia random sampling population of 59 respondents, data analysis using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using chi square. the results showed that there was a relationship between husband's support and anemia status, most respondents did not support moderate anemia 19 (63.3%), the results of the analysis using chi-square obtained p-value 0.002 due to p-value <? (0.05) . Husband's support from the family can encourage pregnant women to be more enthusiastic in facing the changes that occur during pregnancy, including maintaining the health of their pregnancy through increased pregnancy visits and consumption of iron tablets. In conclusion, there is a relationship between husband's support for anemia status in pregnant women in Sengkol Health Center, Central Lombok District
