This study aims to determine the impact of ethics, pressure, opportunity, rationalization, competence, and arrogance on accounting students' academic fraud behavior. The population of this research consists of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta accounting students. The number of samples used in this study was 170 respondents representing several criteria and have taken the Auditing I and Business Ethics courses. The dependent variable (Y) in this study is academic fraud behavior. The independent variables include ethics (X1), pressure (X2), opportunity (X3), rationalization (X4), competence (X5), and arrogance (X6). The method used in this research is the quantitative method. The data used were the primary data. The results of this study indicate that ethics, pressure, and competence have an impact on academic fraud behavior. In contrast, opportunities, rationalization, and arrogance do not affect academic fraud behavior.

Assessing the approximation of demand for a new product is a complex work, while current research on demand assessment is limited. The purpose of this paper is to identify, describe, and obtain deep understanding comprehensively about: (1) the assessment of demand by principal companies in order to create or innovate new products; and (2) buyer responses regarding the assessment on demand aspect concerning on new product buying decision. This research uses qualitative method by phenomenology theoretical design that is: Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) principal within new product innovation, and FMCG wholesaler phenomenon within transactional buying-selling process between wholesalers and distributors. Data interpretation for this research is constructivism philosophy that is based on the location where buyer and seller, and companies do exist at traditional trade. The result identifies demand aspects those are demand of competitor product and categorical product, product segmentation, and demand of the product itself is: (1) several aspects that are valued by marketers in new product innovations. Aspects of demand are assessed by marketers for marketing mix strategy planning; and (2) the essences and buyer responses. Demand aspects are assessed by the buyer to estimate level of demand of new product within competition at internal or external condition.

Periodically conducting a benchmark test with estimated uncertainty is important to improve the quality of resistance predictions and understand the influence of instrumentation, testing procedures and analysis techniques. The LHI-007 Ro-Ro Ferry ship model, made available by the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN), was used for benchmark testing from 2010 to 2018 at the Indonesian Hydrodynamic Laboratory. Comparisons were made between filtering the resistance data with a low-pass filter and with a Kalman filter. This work shows how benchmark tests can be used to track test performance over a longer period and proposes techniques to improve the uncertainty in the resistance results.

Abstrak. Pada suatu sekolah dasar, sebut saja X, pencapaian akademis siswa dalam pelajaran matematika diukur oleh tingkat penguasaan konsep. Kemampuan penalaran matematis, kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan efikasi diri siswa dapat memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat penguasaan konsep. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kemampuan penalaran matematis, efikasi diri dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah terhadap penguasaan konsep pelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kausal-komparatif. Pengolahan data dengan teknik analisis jalur menggunakan software smart PLS 3.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis, efikasi diri dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah berpengaruh positif terhadap penguasan konsep dengan koefisien jalur secara berurutan adalah 0.453, 0.175 dan 0.395. Selanjutnya, kemampuan penalaran matematis juga berpengaruh positif terhadap efikasi diri dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dengan koefisien jalur secara berurutan adalah 0.425 dan 0.560. Melalui hasil penelitian ini, ketika siswa mengalami penurunan saat ujian, sekolah dasar X dapat memberikan pelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran, efikasi diri dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah.

STEM is a learning approach that integrates the teaching of science and mathematics through scientific inquiry, technology and engineering, and mathematical analysis to develop 21st century skills. One of them is critical-thinking skills that are thinking skills involving cognitive, analytical, rational, and logical processes and inviting students to do reflective thinking to problems. The application of STEM which is integrated with problem-based learning and packaged in an e-module will produce creative individuals with critical thinking. The design of the research uses qualitative description. It aims to investigate the need for teaching materials in the form of STEM-PBL based e-Module and critical thinking profiles of students in senior high schools. The subjects of the research were 75 students and 1 chemistry teacher. The data were collected through several techniques such as interviews, questionnaires and critical-thinking essay tests. The results show that students cannot think critically in solving chemical problems and need teaching materials in the form of STEM-PBL-based e-Modules.
