This study aims to determine the effect of managerial initiatives on the adoption of traceability systems on food cold chain performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Managerial initiatives are allegedly needed to improve the company's performance because it improves the traceability system in the supply chain. In addition, the effect of the traceability system adoption on the Indonesian food cold-chain performance during the Covid-19 pandemic is also discussed in this study. This study uses a quantitative approach and purposive sampling with a questionnaire research instrument obtained 250 statements of Indonesian consumers and retail employees. Partial least squares for structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) were used to analyze latent variables' relationships. This study indicates that the traceability system has a significant effect on the performance of the food cold-chain during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the adoption of electronic data exchange (EDI), radio frequency identification (RFID), and blockchain significantly impacted traceability systems during the Covid-19 pandemic. The managerial application of the initiative showed a positive and significant impact on the performance of the food cold-chain during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the managerial initiative is not able to moderate the adoption of the traceability system.
a significant effect on customer loyalty. The use of Kansei in this study will provide a different perspective to describe customer services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Purpose
This paper aims to provide a brief bibliometric review of previous literature reviews in understanding halal suppliers in the food supply chain to achieve halal standards from upstream to downstream.
Design/methodology/approach
The method used was a structured literature review sample of during 2008–2020 totalling 142 articles. The authors use the R-package bibliometric and VOSviewer to find out information about journals, articles, authors, citations, keywords and word hierarchy maps.
Findings
The analysis reveals five research clusters: halal supply chain, food supply chain, supply chain integration, halal lifestyle, halal logistics.
Research limitations/implications
This study focuses on articles that discuss halal suppliers in the food supply chain.
Originality/value
Bibliometric reviews related to suppliers in the halal food supply chain in this study will help explore halal suppliers and be useful for researchers and practitioners in their fields as well as assist supplier management in the halal food supply chain.
This study was conducted to determine the performance impact of e-procurement adoption in Indonesian manufacturing companies. This study consists of four variables: top management support, information quality, implementation of e-procurement, and company performance. Pilot testing questionnaires were used to test whether the respondents understood the questions given by the researcher. After conducting the pilot test, the final questionnaire was distributed to respondents. The pilot test results and the final questionnaire were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21 and SmartPLS v3.0 software to determine the relationship between variables. The results of this study support the acceptance of three hypotheses. The results indicate that top management support has a significant effect on e-procurement implementation. Other results show that information quality has a significant effect on e-procurement implementation, while e-procurement implementation has a significant effect on company performance. From the findings of this article, recommendations from a management perspective are discussed to increase management awareness in adopting electronic procurement.
As the primary health reference center, a hospital is required to provide excellent quality services to each patient. The impact of the extreme physical and mental workload cause negligence in activities. It affects the quality of services provided by medical personnel. This study investigated the level of mental workload and physical workload in medical staff in a hospital. This study was conducted at 15 units in the hospital. The mental workload was assessed using the NASA-TLX Questionnaire. The physical workload analysis was carried out with the Heart Rate reserve percentage of medical personnel. The results of this study show that the mental workload on nurses in the ICU is higher than the other units. Whereas the calculation of physical load using% HR reserve turns out the head of the nurse in-unit class 1 has the highest value compared to the others unit. The statistical analysis showed there was a difference in the general practitioner workload toward the Head of the NursingAs the primary health reference center, a hospital is required to provide excellent quality services to each patient. This article investigates the impact of traceability of the quality of the information system on humanitarian logistics performance. There are four variables studied, namely electronic data interchange (EDI) adoption, blockchain (BC) adoption, radio frequency identification (RFID) adoption, traceability of humanitarian logistics, and humanitarian logistics performance. This research was conducted to assess disaster logistics services in the implementation of service principles in humanitarian logistics. The conceptual model is modeled by introducing three information technologies as independent variables and the humanitarian traceability and logistics performance as dependent variables. The questionnaire was distributed to 96 respondents, and the data was processed using PLS-SEM 2.0. The results show that EDI adoption has no significant effect on the traceability of ABOUT THE AUTHOR
