This study aims to describe the effect of implementing e-worksheets on environmentally friendly technology materials with the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) model in improving students' argumentation skills. This study involved 60 grade IX students in a junior high school in South Lampung, Lampung province. The research design used was a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design with an experimental class of 30 students and a control class of 30 students. Students in the experimental class get learning assisted by eworksheet with the ADI model, while students in the control class are taught using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The results showed that students who were taught using the eworksheets with the ADI model had a higher N-gain (g=0.61 with medium criteria) than students taught using the PBL model (g=0.17 with low criteria). Furthermore, the effectiveness of learning environmentally friendly technology using the ADI model shows a high category (ES=0.84). This shows that the e-worksheet material on environmentally friendly technology using the ADI model was effective in improving students' argumentation skills.
Indonesia is a country with a triple burden of malnutrition which is characterized by a high prevalence of stunting and anemia in pregnant women. This study aimed to determine the relationship between parenting styles for toddlers 24-59 months of age on the incidence of stunting in Majene district in 2022. This study used an observational study with a cross-sectional design with a population of 236 children under five with a sample of 70 children who were taken using the purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire and data analysis statistics using the chi-square test. The results of statistical tests showed that 52,9% had good parenting and did not experience stunting and 75% had poor parenting with stunting status, there was alsoan association between maternal parenting and stunting in children aged 24 to 59 months with a p-value of 0,023. The conclusionof this study is that there is an association between maternal parenting and the incidence of infant stunting between 24 and 59 months of age.
The aim of this research is to know the influence of learning motivation to students competence. The method used is survey method with data analysis technique is simple linear regression test. Data in this research getable by distribute a questionnaire with Likert scale to one population that consists of 47 students vocational high school in Bandung. Research result show that learning motivation and students competence is in the quite category and can be concluded that learning motivation has positive influence to students competence. Based on these, required the cooperation of all parties: school, family, and environment to help increase students learning motivation for increase their competence.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kompetensi siswa.
The problem of income inequality and poverty is a key issue that is always associated with economic development, both in developed and developing countries. Eliminating poverty and reducing economic inequality are absolutely necessary in order to realize social welfare. If the government does not actively intervene in economic activities, then economic activities will be regulated by market mechanisms and then have a negative impact on further development, namely the widening of the welfare gap from time to time between rich and poor areas as a result of the economic activities of richer areas. smoothly compared to poor areas. Aceh is one of the regions, regions or parts of the Republic of Indonesia.
Melasma is a manifestation disorder of hypermelanosis. The incidence of melasma will result in a disruption of the facial skin as well as may cause a decrease in confidence in the sufferer, the incidence of melasma is still unknown, but the case is predominant in women than in men occurring up to 10% of cases. Melasma can affect all races especially the people living in the tropics and on the IV-VI skin types. In Indonesia the ratio of female and male cases is 24: 1. One of those at risk for melasma is the woman in charge of sweeping the road. Women of street sweepers, they usually work from 7 am to noon and start working again at 2 pm until the afternoon. The type of this research is analytic survey with cross sectional study design. The populations in this study were all female road sweeper workers, 49 were living in Kota Lhokseumawe with 49 samples taken from total population. The data were collected using questionnaire and examination by dermatologist and analyzed by chi square test at 95% confidence level. The results showed that 67.3% of women working for street sweepers in Lhokseumawe City have experienced Melasma. The chi square test showed that sun exposure and personal protective equipment use variables were significantly related to the incidence of melasma. In this case it is strongly recommended to the Environment Department in Lhokseumawe City to provide appropriate and monthly personal protective equipment to the women of the street sweeper workers, and conduct periodic checks every 3 months in relation to the work of female workers of street sweepers, socialization of the use of Personal Protective Equipment to prevent the occurrence of illness caused by work.
Motorcycle users in 2019 reached 133,617,012 units in Indonesia. The impact of a large number of motorcycle certainly attracts the interest of the industry to produce two-wheeled automotive vehicles. The piston is part of the engine that functions as a compression barrier in the combustion chamber, the piston material is aluminum alloy. Therefore, research was carried out on making pistons with investment casting methods, physical and mechanical patterns from 3D printers on pistons. This research starts from drawing the piston using CAD (computer-aided design), making a printed pattern from a 3D Printer machine with PLA (polylactide acid) material. The mold pattern is coated with a mixture of gypsum cement and silica powder. The casting process with a pouring temperature of 750ᵒC and a mold temperature of 200 ᵒC, 250 ᵒC, 300 ᵒC, 350 ᵒC, and 400 ᵒC. The results showed the largest grain size at a mold temperature of 400ᵒC. The highest hardness at 200 ᵒC mold temperature is 47.00 HRB and the lowest hardness at 400 ᵒC mold temperature is 40.56 HRB. The higher the temperature of the mold used, the level of porosity of a material will decrease. This is due to the temperature difference when pouring the molten metal and the lower mold temperature. This makes the metal solidification time longer. The higher the mold temperature, the slower the solidification time, the larger the grain structure, and the decreased hardness.
