Com a aquisição de novos valores e princípios, a sociedade se mostra cada vez mais presente em discussões sobre a importância da educação inclusiva, em decorrência disso, uma série de políticas públicas têm sido desenvolvidas para promover a inclusão de crianças com deficiência, transtornos e síndromes em escolas de ensino regular. Essa realidade é proveniente de mudanças significativas que vêm ocorrendo no âmbito da educação escolar que ressaltam a importância de adequar os ambientes educacionais às necessidades de crianças especiais. A escola que antes excluía e rejeitava crianças com necessidades especiais, agora se vê desafiada a promover um ensino de qualidade, criando metas para incluir o aluno no contexto educacional de forma que todos os envolvidos assimilem a situação e conhecimento das metodologias a serem trabalhadas visando à superação de limitações da criança com autismo como foco e objetivo do presente artigo. Essa pesquisa foi desencadeada a partir de bibliografias pertinentes ao tema como os autores Kanner (1943), Bosa e Callis (2000), A Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Especial (LDB), entre outros. Observou-se que por mais importante que seja inseri-la na sala de aula regular, é preciso criar meios para que ela permaneça na escola, sem que tenha prejuízos em seu desenvolvimento.
