O MannaAcademy é um projeto que impulsiona o protagonismo feminino em direção ao equilíbrio de gênero em áreas tecnológicas. A articulação dos integrantes do Grupo Manna resultou em uma rede interinstitucional que, por meio da extensão universitária, compartilhou saberes, espaços e materiais. A iniciativa capilarizou suas ações para mostrar à sociedade os impactos da disparidade de gênero e a necessidade da presença feminina na computação, na microeletrônica e nas engenharias.
Este artigo descreve uma experiência de Educação 5.0 que engajou universidades e escolas públicas de ensino fundamental e médio em ações e reflexões sobre a disparidade de gênero e a necessidade de aumentar a presença feminina nas áreas do STEAM. Os resultados vieram do compartilhamento de conhecimentos, espaços criativos e materiais didáticos, bem como da ampliação das ações de formação técnica e diálogo com a sociedade.
A Internet das Coisas tem como objetivo interconectar objetos entre si e com pessoas, por meio de tecnologias de transmissão de dados e diversos sensores e atuadores. Na Educação, tem sido promovidas iniciativas de introdução de Internet das Coisas nas escolas, visando demonstrar as possibilidades desse novo paradigma como ferramenta de auxílio nas atividades de ensino interdisciplinar. Com o exposto, este trabalho tem o objetivo de demonstrar os resultados da aplicação de uma abordagem didático-pedagógica composta por uma sequência didática para a área da Física para alunas e alunos do Ensino Médio, utilizando como base um protótipo de uma casa inteligente construída com base no paradigma de IoT.
Este artigo relata a concepção e as atividades de um projeto de extensão nascido em 2014 em um câmpus da Universidade Federal do Paraná no interior do estado. O projeto originou-se da carência de iniciativas de divulgação e popularização de ciência e tecnologia na cidade de Jandaia do Sul e no Vale do Ivaí. Desde seu início, foram alcançadas aproximadamente 22000 pessoas (fisicamente), 6500 visualizações em vídeos, 830 seguidores e 500 inscritos por meio de suas redes sociais, 18 escolas, colégios e instituições comunitárias além de dois núcleos regionais de educação. Fizeram parte de sua equipe 30 estudantes dos cinco cursos de graduação do câmpus, entre voluntários e bolsistas, e 11 professores.
