A formação inicial dos professores, exige um esforço reflexivo para que a organização institucional e pedagógica dos cursos de graduação, sobretudo das licenciaturas, oriente-se na simetria invertida desse profissional: quando se prepara para ser professor, este vive o papel de aluno. Isto posto, a formação inicial deve referenciar-se nas normativas legais e recomendações pedagógicas da Educação Básica. O ensino de assuntos convergentes ao tema Botânica esbarra na indisposição dos docentes, que em sua maioria sentem-se inaptos a ministrarem tais conteúdos. Trata-se de um ciclo vicioso: professores que tiveram formação insuficiente em botânica reproduzem o enfado exercício de se aprender sobre plantas. O presente artigo se debruça em questionamentos que derivam dessa problemática e objetivou a proposição de atividade investigativa, por meio da aprendizagem baseada na resolução de problemas (ABPR) visando o aprofundamento de conceitos em Fisiologia Vegetal por ingressos do Curso de Ciências Biológicas. Nesse sentido, o estudo é de base qualitativa, calcado em pesquisa-ação com aplicação de metodologia ativa no estudo de Nutrição Mineral. Os sujeitos da pesquisa compreendem estudantes da disciplina de Fisiologia Vegetal do 4º período do Curso de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. A atividade se divide em duas etapas: produção de um modelo didático sobre Nutrição Mineral e; aplicação do modelo desenvolvido com as turmas subsequentes do curso. Pelo estudo proposto salienta-se que a opção por modelos didáticos, contribui para a ampliação dos conhecimentos prévios em conhecimentos científicos, dentro de uma lógica ativa e invertida de aprendizado: primeiro se experimenta, depois se teoriza. A experiência apresentada corrobora para um contra movimento que silencia e torna invisível a importância das plantas como componentes ativos dos sistemas biológicos e sociais, pelo anúncio de uma proposta metodológica ativa e investigativa. De que te serve aprender Botânica? parece um questionamento não restrito aos alunos da Educação Básica. Entretanto, distanciando-nos do pessimismo que nos confinam as denúncias, a Botânica certamente serve para compreender.

ResumoEste texto tem como objetivo apresentar a Síndrome Cri-Du-Chat ou Síndrome do Miado de Gato, como é comumente conhecida, em relação aos aspectos médicos e educacionais envolvidos no processo de desenvolvimento das pessoas que possuem esta condição, bem como, a partir de um do estudo de caso desenvolvido, numa escola pública municipal de Vila Velha-ES, refletir sobre como tem sido realizado o processo de ensino e aprendizagem com estudante que possui tal síndrome. O estudo apresenta-se estruturado em três partes. A primeira parte evoca questões médico-biológi-cas pertinentes à síndrome. A segunda aponta a relevância do processo educacional inclusivo a partir de uma perspectiva sócio-histórica. The child with Cri-Du-Chat syndrome in the common school: a case study AbstractThis text aims to present Cri-Du-Chat Syndrome or Cat's Meow, as is commonly known, in relation to medical and educational aspects involved in the development of people who have this condition, as well as from one case study conducted in a public school of Vila Velha -Espírito Santo, reflect on how it has been done the process of teaching and learning with students who have this syndrome. The present study is structured in three parts. The first part evokes medical and biological issues relevant to the syndrome. The second shows the relevance of inclusive education process from a socio-historical perspective. At the end, brings aspects of the case study conducted.
INTRODUÇÃO Nos dias atuais tanto se fala em educação para todos, educação inclusiva, escola inclusiva. Esse tema toma conta dos discursos de políticos, gestores e professores. Para Bueno (2008, p. 31) é o assunto que está na ordem do dia. A inclusão escolar é, hoje, o tema mais candente do campo educacional em todo o mundo. Isto fica evidente quando constatamos a sua incidência nas grandes propostas políticas nacionais e internacionais, no discurso dos políticos de todos os matizes ideológicos, nas ações concretas dos governantes e de muitas escolas (ou de todas, mesmo que obrigadas), nas produções científicas, acadêmicas e de cunho técnico-profissional. (BUENO, 2008, p. 31). No entanto, o que é pensar numa educação para todos? Não se trata de uma educação para uma classe homogênea, idealizada e utópica. Mas uma educação que atenda todos, diferentes, com jeitos e necessidades diversas, de modo que tenham seu direito a educação respeitado. Ao referir-se a esta educação que atenda a todos é imprescindível pensar nas pessoas com NEE, nas políticas públicas voltadas a esta população e nas disposições legais que devem legitimar o direito a educação para todos. Para isso é preciso olhar para as demandas que surgem nesse atendimento. Entre estas, tem emergido a disponibilização do professor de apoio como um dos caminhos para favorecer o atendimento na classe comum dos alunos que apresentam NEE mais comprometidos. Considerando esse fato, oportuno fazer uma análise dos documentos legais, a fim de entender como a legislação educacional apresenta o professor de apoio e o que define em relação a sua atuação numa perspectiva inclusiva.
