The high number of tourists visit to Malang shows that Malang is still one of the favourite tourist destinations. Two of them are Kampung Wisata Jodipan and Kampung Biru. The existence of tourism-based villages provides economic, socio-cultural, and ecological impacts. Development and environment have interrelated, reciprocal, and very close interactions. This research was ex post facto which aimed to determine the correlation of environmental concern and age, and also to compare the environmental concern in two tourism villages in Malang City. The sampling was conducted using random sampling. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and questionnaires about environmental concern questionnaires to residents in both tourism villages. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation. The results showed that the age and concern of the community in Kampung Wisata Jodipan did not correlate, with p = 0.926 > α = 0.05, which means there was no relationship between the age of the community and environmental concern. In Kampung Biru, age also does not correlate with community concern with p = 0.181 > α = 0.05, which means there is no relationship between the age of the community and environmental concerns.
<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The purpose of this study was to produce Environment Pollution valid and practice modul based on Biology Environment Technology Society (BETS) of the material, the validity of teaching materials, and practicality. This developmental research adopted the ADDIE development model. The result of material expert validation was 100% with a very valid category. The results of the validation of teaching material experts amounted to 99.50% with a very valid category. The results of the assessment by field practitioners amounted to 90.98% with a very practical category. The results of the assessment of usage by students amounted to 90.35% with a very practical category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the BETS-based environmental pollution module that has been produced has been appropriate to be used as teaching material for the Environmental Science Basic course.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pencemaran lingkungan berbasis BETS (<em>Biology Environment Technology Society</em>) yang valid dan praktis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil validasi ahli bahan ajar sebesar 99,50% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil validasi oleh praktisi lapangan sebesar 90,98% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil penilaian penggunaan oleh mahasiswa sebesar 90,35% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu modul pencemaran lingkungan berbasis BETS (<em>Biology Environment Technology Society</em>) yang dihasilkan telah layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk matakuliah Dasar Ilmu Lingkungan.
Malang City has quite new tourist destinations, namely Jodipan Tourism Village and Blue Arema Village. The two tourist destinations were originally slums area which were built in accordance with the regional structuring program of Malang City Goverment. The existence of the village provided a number of changes for the community, that need to be studied is the hygiene of the community in the two villages. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between age and community hygiene at Jodipan Tourism Village and Blue Arema Village. The research method used was quantitative descriptive by giving questionnaires to 23 people at Jodipan Tourism Village and also 25 people at Blue Arema Village. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation if the data were normal or Spearman correlation if the data were not normal. The results showed that age and community hygiene at Jodipan Tourism Village were not normally distributed with p = 0.403 > α = 0.05, which means there was no correlation between age and community hygiene at Jodipan Tourism Village. While the data of age and community hygiene in Blue Arema Village were normally distributed with p = 0.840 > α = 0.05, which means there was no correlation between age and community hygiene in Blue Arema Village. Thus, it can be concluded that there was no correlation between age and community hygiene in Jodipan Tourism Village and Blue Arema Village.
