O presente artigo de caráter teórico tem como objetivo apresentar ao leitor algumas abordagens metodológicas em educação musical, da chamada 1° geração de métodos ativos em música. Essa terminologia se refere as abordagens de autores que viveram no final do século XIX e início do XX tais como Dalcroze, Kodaly, Willems e Orff. Todos os autores citados têm como características comuns serem europeus e terem vivido em mesmo contexto histórico, ou seja, o período entre guerras. O critério de seleção dos autores se deu pelo fato de todos pensarem no ensino da música no espaço escolar e priorizarem pelo ensino coletivo de música para além do ensino de instrumentos musicais. Acredita-se que são abordagens de suma importância para o conhecimento atual pois, quando devidamente adaptados ao ensino de música no espaço escolar brasileiro, apresentam-se como metodologias que primam pela experiência musical por meio de práticas coletivas.
RESUMOO presente artigo tem como objetivo refletir, através de um estudo bibliográfico, e de situações vivenciadas corriqueiramente, como a psicomotricidade bem desenvolvida na criança pode beneficiá-la na prática de instrumentos de percussão e bateria. Aproximando a psicomotricidade funcional da prática percussiva, veremos como a psicomotricidade está presente no mundo da percussão, e apresentaremos como é possível desenvolver um trabalho que irá contribuir com uma melhora no quadro psicomotor da criança. This article aims to reflect, through a bibliographic study on the relationship between music education and psychomotor from the Dalcroze method and psychomotor education field -Psychomotor Functional. Approaching these aspects andhighlighting activities of proposals that can contribute to the psychomotor development of children, also was intended to expand the possibilities of conducting a teaching job by music teachers and teachers of elementary schools regarding the use the playful and respecting cognitive ability, emotional, social, emotional and motor child according to their age group.
