FACES III in spanish (México) is an instrument with reliability of 70% with Cronbach alfa and validity measured using confirmatory Factor Analysis. Nevertheless, we found four limitations that should be analyzed and evaluated in the planning of future studies.
Se presentan los resultados del diagnóstico situacional de 16 países de América Latina, en cuanto a sus Sistemas de Referencia y Contrarreferencia de pacientes entre los tres niveles de atención médica. Los resultados de la investigación fueron analizados por representantes de los países miembros de WONCA Iberoamérica CIMF, en el marco de la VI Cumbre Iberoamericana de Medicina Familiar en San José de Costa Rica en abril de 2016.
El propósito de este trabajo es describir, analizar y aportar elementos que conduzcan a obtener los fundamentos teóricos, metodológicos y prácticos de la tutorización en las actividades de investigación de tutores y residentes en un programa educativo de posgrado (Especialización en Medicina Familiar). En los últimos años, ante el incremento de las enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles, las desigualdades de género, las inequidades sociales y en salud, la violencia, los cambios climáticos, los estilos de vida de la sociedad humana y la reiteración de la salud como un derecho humano fundamental, los sistemas de salud han sido llevados a valorar y fortalecer el primer nivel de atención.La Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria (MFC) en el mundo ha sido pilar de una Atención Primaria (AP) de calidad, por desarrollar una atención integral a las personas, ofreciendo mejores servicios de salud a todas las poblaciones y en todos los escenarios sociales. Es una especialidad médica y una disciplina académica que estudia el proceso salud-enfermedad de la persona, su familia y comunidad, desde una perspectiva sistémica y un abordaje biopsicosociocultural. Su práctica es caracterizada por conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes que la diferencian de las demás. Pero es una especialidad que necesita mayor apoyo político y financiero en el ámbito latinoamericano.El discurso político y las recomendaciones a nivel internacional hablan de la importancia de la AP y de la MFC en el otorgamiento de los servicios asistenciales, basados en las premisas de mejor utilización de recursos, equidad y justicia social. No obstante, los diferentes grados de compromiso y esfuerzos encaminados a fortalecer los sistemas sanitarios, educacionales y formativos desde la AP y la MFC en América Latina han sido insuficientes. Podría decirse que en muchos casos son muy lentos o casi nulos, cuando no contradictorios, incluso, inversos a los compromisos firmados.Como forma de reflexionar, debatir y apoyar el desarrollo de políticas adecuadas para los sistemas de salud hacia una AP calificada, con médicos familiares y comunitarios, la Confederación Iberoamericana de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria (WONCA Iberoamericana CIMF), promueve la realización de Cumbres Iberoamericanas de Medicina Familiar. Las Cumbres, además de un evento político, son también un evento técnico y académico. A través del intercambio de experiencias y actividades participativas, con representantes estratégicos de las áreas de salud, educación e investigación se buscan soluciones para los problemas de organización, asistencia, formación e investigación en los sistemas de salud de Iberoamérica, en especial los relacionados con la Atención Primaria y Medicina Familiar.
