Understanding the factors that influence the satisfaction of e-learning is critical. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationship between interactive learning, social influence, and perceived usefulness on perceived satisfaction with e-learning. Seventy-three students taking online learning were surveyed using a questionnaire. The results of the structural equation modelling analysis show that interactive learning and perceived usefulness have a significant effect on e-learning perceived satisfaction. However, when social influence affects perceived usefulness significantly, the effect of interactive learning on perceived usefulness is insignificant. This research is useful for academics, teachers, lecturers, and university ICT to put the concern to student satisfaction factors in online learning.
This study aims to determine the effect of attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioural control (Theory of Planned Behavior/TPB) on the intentions of food seller to use halal products. The final sample consisted of 130 respondents who run the daily business activities of a restaurant in Padang, Indonesia. The systematic random sampling method was used in this research. Multiple linear regression was used to test the hypothesizes. It was found that subjective norm and behavioural control have a positive effect but not significant on sellers' intention to use halal product. However, attitude significantly influence food sellers' intention to use halal product. This study is beneficial to understand the factors that influence halal product usage in the food industry. It could also become a policy-making reference for government and related institution to increase halal food market scale.
Nagi Sipadeh merupakan salah satu usaha berkembang yang menjadi mitra pengabdian masyarakat LPPM Universitas Andalas yang memiliki keinginan besar untuk terus berinovasi mengembangkan berbagai jenis produk olahan jahe merah. Salah satu produk yang ingin dikembangkan adalah permen jahe merah. Dalam upaya pengembangan produk permen jahe merah, masih banyak kendala dan permasalahan yang dialami oleh Nagi Sipadeh terutama kurangnya pengetahuan tentang teknologi produksi permen. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan ini diharapkan dapat membantu usaha Nagi Sipadeh untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemampuan dalam memproduksi permen berbahan baku jahe merah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga bentuk kegiatan, yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan bimbingan berkelanjutan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan mencakup pada teknologi produksi permen yang meliputi komposisi bahan-bahan yang diperlukan dalam pembuatan permen disertai edukasi mengenai fungsi dan peranan masing-masing bahan tersebut dalam komposisi permen, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian cara pengolahan yang tepat serta prosedur pengemasan permen yang baik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini Usaha Nagi Sipadeh mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai proses pengolahan permen baik dalam bentuk permen keras maupun permen lunak serta mengetahui teknik pengemasan permen yang tepat. Kata kunci: Jahe merah, Nagi Sipadeh, permen ABSTRACT Nagi Sipadeh is one of the developing businesses that is a community service partner of LPPM Andalas University who has a great desire to continue to innovate in developing various types of processed red ginger products. One of the products to be developed is red ginger candy. In an effort to develop red ginger candy products, there are still many obstacles and problems experienced by Nagi Sipadeh, especially the lack of knowledge about candy production technology. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that it can help Nagi Sipadeh's efforts to improve skills and abilities in producing of red ginger candy. This community service activity is carried out in three forms of activity, namely counseling, training, and ongoing guidance. The training carried out covers candy production technology which includes the composition of the ingredients needed in making candy along with education about the function and role of each of these ingredients in candy composition, then continued with the delivery of proper processing methods and good candy packaging procedures. As a result of this activity, Nagi Sipadeh's business gained knowledge and skills regarding the candy processing process, both in the form of hard candy and soft candy, as well as knowing the right candy packaging technique. Padang has widely known as the tourism destination in Indonesia. This city is the capital of West Sumatera Province which win three World Halal Tourism Award categories in 2016; World's Best Halal Culinary Destination, World's Best Halal Destination and Halal World's Best Tour Operator. This study aims to determine the effect of Padang's city branding (Presence, Place, potential, Pulse, People, Pre-requisite) towards its city image (cognitive, affective, conative) and tourist visit decision. Moreover, city image is also placed to be intervening variable between city branding and tourist visit decision. Based on the tourist data collected by survey (200 samples), structural equation modeling using Smart PLS 3.0 and Sobel Test were employed to test the research model. The findings indicate that the relationship in purposed model are significant. For researchers this study provides a basis for further development of city banding of Padang. For government and destination marketing organization (DMO), understanding the key construct is crucial to increase visitors and better perceived city image.
Pengembangan bisnis membutuhkan riset dan jejaring. Bahkan pada saat baru berdiri, pemilik bisnis membutuhkan hal-hal tersebut. Hanya saja seringkali Pengusaha Pemula Berbasis Teknologi (PPBT) tidak memperhatikan ini secara serius. Tujuan jangka panjang dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya market survey dan jejaring yang memberikan kemudahan dalam pengembangan bisnis PPBT. Target khusus dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) dilaksanakannya market survey untuk produk-produk PPBT Universitas Andalas (minimal 5 produk); 2) dilaksanakannya business matching dimana PPBT dipertemukan dengan segenap pemangku kepentingan terutama pebisnis yang relevan bagi pengembangan produk PPBT serta dengan buyer yang bisa menjadi pembeli bagi produk-produk PPBT. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan market survey kepada pelanggan potensial serta pelaksanaan business meeting yang mempertemukan PPBT dan segenap pihak yang bisa membantu bisnis PPBT. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah market survey dan business meeting.
