The Overlay welding process is a coating technique that is carried out using the welding process. In this study, a coating was conducted on carbon SA 516 gr. 70 with stainless steel electrodes. Welding was carried out with the GTAW and SMAW processes. The electrode used in the first coating for GTAW was ER309L while for SMAW was E309L. The next coating used in the GTAW electrode was ER316L and the SMAW electrode was E316L. In both welding processes, testing was carried out on mechanical properties and corrosion rates. Testing was carried out to determine mechanical properties, namely bending testing. This was done based on ASME IX. Bending test results in both processes are declared accepted because there are no defects. In testing the corrosion rate using the three-electrode cell method based on the ASTM G102 Overlay welding process with GTAW has a slower corrosion rate of 0.00890 MMPY compared to the overlay welding process with SMAW.
This research aims to evaluate the implementation of industrial internship program on the aspects of: 1) planning, 2) process, and 3) results. In this study, the industrial internship is for the students of Vocational High School in Mechanical Engineering program. This research is a quantitative research with the respondents of teachers, students, and the industries in Tegal regency. The location of this research is in three Vocational High School (VHS) with an engineering program and the industries for students' internship. The data in this research was collected using questionnaire and analysis of descriptive statistics. The result shows that: (1) the planning of the internship is in the suitability level of 55% for students, 100% for teachers, and 65% for the industries; (2) the process of the internship is in the suitability level of 54% for students, 72% for teachers, and 60% for the industries; and (3) the result of the internship is in the suitability level of 55% for students, 100% for teacher, and 55% for the industries. In conclusion, the execution of the internship program of the VHS in Tegal is suitable for the stakeholders.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pembelajaran daring berdasarkan tanggapan dari guru SMK di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta berdasarkan ketercapaian substansi dan kebutuhan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 94 responden yang merupakan guru SMK di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Proses pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara acak (random sampling). Desain penelitian survei menggunakan pendekatan dari Brenner yang terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu: (1) penentuan pengukuran variabel, (2) menentukan sampel, (3) pengumpulan data, dan 4) analisis data. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa ketercapaian substansi dalam proses pembelajaran daring di SMK yang dilihat dari pemenuhan kompetensi dasar, efektifitas dan efisiensi pembelajaran, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, kecepatan memahami materi, serta kedalaman materi dalam media pembelajaran masih tergolong rendah. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru adalah blended learning yang didukung oleh pemberian video demonstrasi untuk menyampaikan materi dan video unjuk kerja siswa untuk menilai ketercapaian kompetensi siswa. Hasil survei juga menunjukkan bahwa durasi pembelajaran daring yang ideal yaitu dua jam.
