English pronunciation studies the techniques of uttering English words, making it one of the most challenging subjects and considered a formality. By mastering proper English pronunciation, there will be no miscommunication when speaking with others or native speakers. Learning pronunciation from a native speaker creates a benchmark for appropriately pronouncing words. Unfortunately, it is overpriced and impractical. Therefore, this study developed an e-learning application to learn English pronunciation. Through a desktop-based e-learning application, users could freely improve their ability and interest in learning pronunciation without time constraints. They could also evaluate their progress. This desktop application could be utilized frequently without incurring excessive fees. In order to acquire study data, the application was assessed by administering a questionnaire to 34 respondents. As many as 27 respondents believed that the application’s content was easily accessible on their individual computers. Additionally, 30 respondents acknowledged that the audio quality was clear. Moreover, 29 respondents asserted that the desktop application encouraged them to improve their pronunciation. In other words, the desktop application for learning English pronunciation was highly useful for independent study and could enhance the comprehension of each learned word
Kecerdasan bisnis diperlukan oleh manajemen puncak untuk mendukung berbagai keputusan. Data pendidikan, seperti data penerimaan, akademik, dan alumni pada institusi akademik akan semakin bertambah dari waktu ke waktu. Sehingga, proses pengumpulan, komputasi, analisis, dan visualisasi data yang sangat besar menjadi tantangan bagi manajemen puncak. Institusi akan membutuhkan pengumpulan data untuk melengkapi formulir akreditasi dengan dukungan pengaturan pengakses laporan. Data yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai aplikasi ini dapat memunculkan masalah baru, di antaranya data yang tidak lengkap dan tidak standar. Tujuan makalah ini adalah mengembangkan dasbor akademik yang berisi informasi untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan dan menyajikan informasi penting yang berguna dalam memantau kinerja mahasiswa. Metode pengembangan dasbor akademik menggunakan Business Intelligence Roadmap yang meliputi Justification, Planning, Business Analysis, Design, Construction, dan Deployment. Pada pengembangan ini juga dibangun data warehouse yang mengintegrasikan data akademik dari berbagai sumber serta menggunakan penyimpanan data yang dinormalisasi (NDS) dan arsitektur penyimpanan data dimensional (DDS). Arsitektur menyediakan data master akademik yang disimpan di NDS. Kemudian dasbor dikembangkan menggunakan Microsoft Power BI. Hasil pengembangan memperlihatkan bahwa dasbor mampu untuk menampilkan data penting universitas dan mendukung pembuatan laporan untuk akreditasi. Selain itu juga digunakan untuk memantau kinerja mahasiswa dengan menggunakan IPK rata-rata sebagai acuan.
This research discusses the condition of information technology at KOMINFO (DISKOMINFO) Bantul governance. This study aims to discover where has KOMINFO applied information technology governance properly. This research focuses only on IT processes. Only the AI3 IT process discussed how to generate and maintain the IT infrastructure. AI4 IT process discussed how to enable and use the IT infrastructure, and the last is the DS4 IT process that discussed how to ensure sustainable services. A questionnaire, an interview with employees of KOMINFO Bantul, and documentation were utilized to collect data. Data processing results were used to determine the maturity level of information technology governance at KOMINFO Bantul. After knowing the maturity level of the IT processes, then it was analyzed to measure the alignment between the TKTI current condition with the TKTI condition equipped with the COBIT framework.
Salah satu tujuan dibentuknya Majelis Tarjih dan Tajdid di persyarikatan Muhammadiyah adalah agarpemahaman dan praktik ibadah seluruh warga Muhammadiyah sesuai dengan al-Quran dan as-Sunnahal-Maqbulah serta memiliki kesamaan bagi seluruh warga Muhammadiyah yang berdomosili dimanapun.Dalam pengambilan hukumnya di ranah ibadah, diterapkanlah tajrid atau pemurnian, yaitu pengambilan kesimpulan hukum yang harus betul-betul berdasarkan nas al-Qur’an dan as-Sunnah al-Makbulah (hadis yang diindikasi dari Nabi Muhammad saw.). Konsep pengambilan hukum yang demikian didasarkan pada kaidah dalam ilmu Ushul Fiqh yang menyatakan bahwa “Hukum asalibadah adalah haram, hingga ada nas yang memerintahkan”. Dengan demikian, ranah ibadah adalahpermasalahan yang sudah rinci aturannya dan tidak boleh ditambah atau pun dikurangi. Dalamprogram pengabdian pada masyarakat ini, dilakukan pengembangan panduan tata cara ibadah praktisyang berkaitan dengan praktik ibadah sehari-hari tentang thaharah dan shalat sesuai dengan HimpunanPutusan Tarjih Muhammadiyah berbasis TIK di Panti Asuhan Asy-Syifa’ MuhammadiyahBambanglipuro yang merupakan salah satu Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah yang dikelola langsung olehPimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah Kabupaten Bantul dalam bentuk menyusun media pembelajarandengan video dan power point dengan kontain foto gerakan, bacaan do’a, dan dalil yang menjadi dasargerakan dan bacaan do’a tersebut agar pembelajaran ibadah lebih efektif dan efisien.
Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), or the National Amil Zakat Agency, is housed in Kendari City, particularly in the Anduonohu area. BAZNAS is a non-structural government institution independent and responsible to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. It faces several issues with data processing using Microsoft Excel, such as the difficulty of zakat data administration, the time and effort required to create reports, the slowness of search results, and the absence of a database. By developing a web-based zakat information and calculation system at BAZNAS of Kendari City with the Laravel framework, this study aims to discover solutions to issues experienced. The research framework for addressing the issues raised at BAZNAS of Kendari City included problem identification, theoretical foundation-based information searches, data collection through observation and interviews, and application development. Prototyping was utilized as a part of the system development, employing PHP, the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. Black-box testing was applied to ensure everything was working as intended. The test findings unveiled that the web-based zakat information and calculation system at BAZNAS of Kendari City functioned properly.
The net generation is born simultaneously as new technologies are being developed, exposing them to those technologies from infancy. The constant coexistence with technology in their early lives imparts technological literacy to the fictional characters. Smartphones, for example, are an inseparable part of today’s children, and this generation is not only familiar with them but also proficient at utilizing them. Most children solely use their phones for media consumption. In particular, the mathematical abilities of this generation stand to benefit from the widespread adoption and proper use of smartphones. Students at all educational levels, from elementary school on up, now view mathematics as a formidable foe. There has to be a breakthrough that utilizes emerging technology, specifically mobile learning, to put an end to this terrifying phenomenon in learning mathematics. Therefore, this study was carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of mobile learning in teaching mathematics to fourth-grade students (9-10 years old) in this net generation era. This research was conducted to provide educators and education administrators with a point of departure for creating new approaches that better reflect the traits of that generation. One of the hoped-for outcomes of this study is an improvement in individuals’ capabilities.
Since 2017, the Karanglo Asri Waste Bank has been operating with three core managers, including the chairman, secretary, and treasurer, as well as 32 active customers. Residents have been educated on identifying waste that can be resold to collectors or transformed into fertilizers and handicrafts using a waste bank maintained by a local government agency. The staff of the waste bank has continued to write by hand, and each has his or her notebook. Nonetheless, administrative books include hurdles—for instance, errors in recording, destruction, loss, improper computations, and unstructured records. Therefore, the customers must resolve these issues by matching the terms and criteria. The User-Centered-Design method included three phases for determining the requirements of the Karanglo Asri Waste Bank. They generated four user journey maps, four use case diagrams, six activity diagrams, and eighty-four user stories. It was completed for testing by the managers and customers based on requirements derived from the needs of the Karanglo Asri Waste Bank’s staff and customers.
Pregnancy is still a major health issue at present. Statistics demonstrate an annual increase in pregnancies. Monitoring pregnant women involves undergoing regular checkups to verify the fetus’s health. However, many midwives still manually enter data in ledgers. Therefore, this study designed an application to assist midwives in saving and displaying data to monitor the health of pregnant women, allowing the stored data to be easily obtained and saving midwife storage space. This application is exclusively accessible to midwives due to the restricted periodic health checkups for pregnant women. This application was developed using the spring boot and flutter frameworks.
