The phenomenon at this time, we often find children no longer respect parents, anti-social attitudes that appear from everyday life both at school and society. In global competition, a nation needs to be an innovative nation to become a superior nation. Then the need for a strong order of values and policies so that the crisis of culture and national disintegration does not occur in Indonesia. Education in Indonesia must instill national character and spirit originating from the nation's cultural roots and based on Pancasila as the basis of country, philosophy, and noble values. Through, citizenship education learning is expected to be a solution in fostering citizens who have social awareness.
This article aims to report on the current state of research on the various alternative solutions in increasing global citizen awareness by utilizing digital literacy as an ability to use digital media (Internet of things, big data, and robotical feature). This research used a critical study method by examining the literature and identifying the current trend related to digital literacy and global citizen. In all the 42 papers that were reviewed. the results showed that digital literacy is an important implication to collaborate and communicate with global digital networks that enable every individual to be aware of being an active and participatory citizen of world issues without losing identity.
The Indonesian nation must be built by prioritizing character development because this character building will make Indonesia a great, advanced, and glorious, dignified nation. Today the rapid progress and sophistication of technology makes habits begin to be abandoned. Children now prefer to play gadgets and play stations rather than traditional children's games, whereas traditional children's games are not just games but also teaches about many lessons such as practicing patience, cooperation, responsibility, tolerance, and caring among others. Therefore, it is necessary to plant good character traits early on in early childhood, with the hope that good character can be well embedded early on. Character is not formed by learning in class, but it requires habituation. Through storytelling it is hoped that children will recognize, understand and be able to feel the values contained in the story, so good character values will be embedded in the child. The habit of telling stories or storytelling about folklore needs to be done at school, especially at home, so that communication between teachers, parents, and children can be established in instilling the children's character.
Teenagers as the next generation of a nation are believed to be able to embody the idea of homeland by mastering the power religious spiritual, self control, smartness, noble attitude, along with skill which are necessary for themselves, community and nation. Multidimensional in term of moral decadency is now found among teenagers, the succesors of nation’s hope. Moral decadency of teenagers is marked by some indicators related to some phenomena such as, smoking, alcohol addicted and sex pre marriage which are now escalating and easily found in community environment. Religion is a solid shield to prevent moral decadency. Religion norm is imparative to guide and to lead teenagers behavior in accordance with moral standard applied in community is supposed to be done by those who own important influence such as local community public figures.The research was aimed to describe and analyze the role of local public figures in cultivating religious character to local teenagers. Research method applied was quantitative descriptive. Research subject were teenegers in community environment in Rajabasa Urban Village.. Sample of the research were 45 respondens. Data was analyzed by using product moment formula to calculate the correlation between the two variables, then followed by a regression analysis in order to determine its significance. The value rxy= 0,78, which meant sufficient category. The result of regression analysis between variable X and variable Y obtained Fcount> Ftable or 67,8> 4,20. Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This justifies meaning that the increasing role of community leaders will increase the inculcation of religious character in teenegers, so that this becomes an impetus for local community public figures to increase their exemplary attitude, habituation, advice / attention and sanctions by providing good role models.
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini secara khusus bertujuan, meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang pembuatan bahan ajar PPKn berbasis kurikulum 2013 dan langkah-langkah dalam membuat bahan ajar pada pembelajaran PPKn; menumbuhkan sikap peserta pendampingan bahwa bahan ajar PPKn berbasis kurikulum 2013 penting untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dalam pembelajaran PPKn; & meningkatkan kemampuan atau keterampilan peserta dalam membuat bahan ajar berbasis kurikulum 2013 sesuai dengan materi PPKn. Dalam upaya mencapain tujuan kegiatan ini, digunakan metode sebagai berikut, Ekspositori, Tanyajawab, Pemberian tugas, Diskusi kelompok, & Latihan. kegiatan praktek pembuatan bahan ajar secara individu dan kelompok. Dari hasil pelaksanaan pendampingan penulisan bahan ajar ini menunjukan ada perubahan pemahaman guru dan kemampuanya dalam penulisan bahan ajar PPKn. Dari peserta yang mengikuti 34 orang guru menunjukan hal yang sangat signifikan. Dalam kegiatan pelaksanaan ini para peserta terlihat sangat antusias dan bersemangat karena dapat dilihat dalam pelaksanaan dari awal sampai diakhir pertemuan masih tetap semangat.
Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh literasi digital terhadap moralitas peserta didik. Literasi digital adalah kemampuan menggunakan dan memanfaatkan berbagai perangkat digital, untuk lebih berdaya, beretika dan demokratis di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (bagaimana keterampilan operasional, pencarian internet, mengevaluasi konten, berkomunikasi dan adakah pengaruh literasi digital terhadap moralitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik dasar dan pendukung dalam pengumpulan data di lapangan. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa literasi digital memengaruhi moralitas peserta didik, namun literasi digital tidak sepenuhnya dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat melalui indikator keahlian operasional (operational skill), pencarian internet (internet searching), evaluasi konten (content evaluation) dan komunikasi (communication) yang peneliti ajukan kepada responden.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis struktur dan fungsi MGMP, perencanaan program MGMP yang selama ini dilakukan, pelaksanaan program-program MGMP selama satu tahun terakhir, serta monitoring dan evaluasi pelaksanaan program MGMP yang selama ini dijalankan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis. Sumber data penelitian yaitu guru-guru yang terlibat aktif MGMP IPS sebanyak 8 orang dengan teknik sampling purposif. Teknik pengambilan datanya dengan wawancara terstruktur observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kualitatif dengan jalur meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) Organisasi kelompok kerja MGMP IPS Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kota Bandar Lampung secara struktural sudah ada dan berjalan cukup baik; 2) Perencanaan kegiatan MGMP IPS di Kota Bandar Lampung dibuat secara bersama dan dilaksanakan setiap akhir bulan sekali; 3) Pelaksanaan program MGMP IPS di Kota Bandar Lampung dijadwalkan satu kali dalam setiap bulannya yaitu pada akhir bulan. Materi yang dibahas dalam kegiatan tersebut sudah sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 terutama perangkat pembelajaran dan lampirannya, serta program kegiatan yang ditugaskan dari Dinas Pendidikan atau LPMP Lampung; 4) Monitoring dan evaluasi pelaksanaan program MGMP IPS utamanya dilakukan oleh ketua dan sekretaris sendiri, sedangkan dari dinas atau pengawas pendidikan dan kepala sekolah hanya dilakukan satu kali tiap satu semester; 5) Kendala yang dihadapi kegiatan MGMP IPS adalah belum adanya dana alokasi khusus, sulit mencari narasumber ahli, dan rendahnya partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan MGMP karena waktu dan jadwal KBM yang berbeda.
